A few points I'd like to mention. "Minna" means everyone, so I'm trying to say "Hello everybody." Also, "atashi" is an informal way of saying watashi, not a misspelling. I'm not sure whether this sentence is grammatically correct or not, as it may be a little too casual for a first meeting. You could probably use it for later meetings, though.

Ok, looking at this again, I think I have a few corrections to make.

1: I'm pretty sure "Minna" should be "Minna san."

2: I mentioned that "Atashi" is an informal version of watashi. I forgot to mention it's a version that should only be used by girls, not by boys. My bad on that one.

3: At the end, I should have said imasu, not desu. The difference is that I pretty much said "I am Kelina," rather than "My NAME is Kelina." One refers to me, a person, where the other refers to my name, an abstract concept. These require different words at the end.

So, the correct version would be.

Hajimemashite, minna san. Watashi wa Kelina imasu. Dozo yoroshiku.

I thought I knew all this, but it all kinda slipped my mind when I made the last post, and I managed to bungle up a simple introduction in about half a dozen ways. Yeah, I'm off to a great start.

I guess that just goes to show. You should pay attention to the lessons, and not think you know it all. My bad. redface
