Everyone was silent.
She was looking for someone to chat with.
She strode off into the darkness and into the hufflepuff
table .

Bailey crawled through the passage hidden by the oddly painted fruit bowl and quietly took in her surroundings. Seeming comfortable enough to call home, she danced gracefully across the room and nestled herself in a big, squishy looking yellow armchair placed conveniently next to a bright, roaring fire and smiled to herself excitedly, knowing she had finally made it to Hogwarts.
"Now..." Bailey whispered to herself with a sense of burning desire behind her words, "the REAL adventure begins..."

outside everyone turned their heads.

"Oh damn" she whispered under her breathe.
"Wrong room are you seriously? Oh well."
She skipped along to the plump yellow couch.

Tentatively muttering the password to the portrait, Ryan poked his head inside the room and glanced around at the occupants in the room. He was feeling agitated, being placed in Hufflepuff, everyone in his family has either been in Slytherin or in Ravenclaw. He had a bitter feeling welling up inside of him as he thought about what his father would think, a pure blood such as himself amongst the half blood's. Not that Ryan ever cared for blood status, he just knew his father wouldn't be happy.

His dark blue eyes scanned the room, he didn't know anyone here like he would have in Slytherin. He felt lonely, but over all, he was just happy to get away from everything.

Nelly turned her head around and saw a boy.
She wanted to welcome him but he looked
not so happy. She knew how he felt
no friends or anyone to talk to.
As the boy approached she waved at him.
"Hello I'm Nelly Redwood. What's your name?"
Greeted Nelly.
She gave him a warm smile , her big blue eyes
sparkled.

Spike smiled and nodded, then turned his head away and yawned. "Sounds like a good idea, Celly. I'm pretty tired myself. See you in the morning, then?"

The tan young boy rose his head at the sound of a voice greeting him, well, he wasn't even sure if it was directed towards him but he turned to face the girl with a smile that lit up his face anyway. Dark blue eyes blinked, hiding the fear and the spark of excitement seeping into him.

"'Ello, there." He replied quietly at first, but then found his courage and carried on with a vibrant and melodious tone. "My name's Ryan. Ryan Dante. A pleasure to meet you."

The young boy nodded his head quickly in response to her question but his eyes lingered about the room still, passing over the fat arm chairs, the yellow hangings, badger decorations assorted here and there, along with tunnels that led off to a different area which he noticed seemed to contain boys in one and girls in the other. He noticed all of this in a matter of moments though before he turned back to Nelly to continue conversing with her.

"Definately, feels like I've been waiting my whole life to learn magic and finally here I am.. I just hope it's not too hard." He began with a smile and ended with one as well as.

Nellys locket started to cherp.
"That means classes!" screamed Nelly.
She was so excited but she couldn't be late.
She didn't know if the muggle time was same
as wizard time was the same
"My books my books!"
Nelly drew out her wand.
"Accio school bag!" she summoned her things.
She school bag came flew into the hufflepuff
common room she grabbed it and
sped away into the darkness.

As the pretty girl named Nelly shuffled out of the room in a hurry, Bailey couldn't help noticing from her arm chair aside the fire, that the boy who she was just conversing with was rather handsome. With a sudden blow of courage and a strong desire to make friends, she jumped up from the squishy chair and danced over to the boy, butterflies soaring inside her stomach. As she caught the young man's attention, an overpowering feel of nervousness washed over her, quickly swallowing her brave facade.

"Umm...pardon me?" Bailey addressed the boy, "I couldn't help but overhearing...I..I mean...It's just that....well, you said...Oh, um...Well, what I mean to say is...I'm Bailey Rae Oliver. New to Hufflepuff as well. I apologize, I'm not usually this much of a mess. I just...Well, I guess this is all just so much to take in and I - Oh darn...I'm babbling again, aren't I? I do apologize. Well, it was a pleasure meeting you, anyway..." Bailey turned slowly for the girls dorm, utterly confused at the embarrassment she had just drawn to herself. Her bravery had yet to be tested on boys...

The young boy blinked in utter confusion, one moment, he was chatting with a fellow housemate (but then she practically disappeared in a whisp of smoke) and now this new girl had introduced herself and nearly cringed as she did so which caused Ryan to frown. He noticed her as she inched her way towards the girls dormitories and all Ryan could do was tilt his head to the side and call out to her. "Nice to meet you too!"

Bailey turned slowly, her cheeks blushing a brilliant pink, and gave a shy smile as the boy called out to her. She approached him at an uneven pace, ashamed of her unladylike behavior.
"Hope I didn't scare you." She spoke in a high, strong-willed voice, hoping he'd forget the weak faced, stammering girl he'd met just seconds earlier, "Like I said, this is all so new to me. Not to mention unexpected. You see, I never would've imagined being placed in Hufflepuff...but it's growing on me quickly. Might as well make the best of it, right?"
