I'll make sure to break out the jaws of life for that one miken. My sister and I always thought it going something like this.
Kenshin: Hey I thought I atoned for what I did? Why am I here?
Shishio: Because you caused severe damage to those around you.
Kenshin: Shishio?! o_o
Shishio: But you came a little late Himura. I am now the ruler of hell.
Kenshin: Oh snaps.
Shishio: Your toast buddy.
Yeah. Kind of random. We all know where Kenshin goes though.

Sometimes I think my parents should read threads like this, they don't understand why I watch anime at all, much less Kenshin. Maybe they would get that it's not like American cartoons if they were to see all we learn from anime.

I think that the most fundamental message of Rurouni Kenshin is that we all seek redemption and atonement for our past sins and mistakes, and that often all that we really need is a second chance.

The miracle smelling salts that wake all! I really wouldn't want to meet Saitou-san in a dark alley. Oh yeah. My friend came and knocked on my window this weekend but I wasn't home. When I came home my parents said that someone knocked on my window... sweatdrop
