"Yeah. If we can't get back for some reason. Maybe we don't have to worry about that with Telia around. Unless we get separated. But either way, you'll still need me to keep you warm," Tails explained.

He went for the door, and leaning on it, peered outside. He hoped it wouldn't be too dark before they returned.

It was virtually jet black outside. Hardly anything could be seen with all the snow falling down hard and the winds being fierce as it was. "...Ugh, what the hell?" I asked as I looked about, trying to get a read on anything through instincts.

"I don't think a snowstorm has ever been this bad anywhere. You think?" Freth asked.

"I don't know." I said.

Tristen made his way to the door and winced instantly as the winds started to strike his face. He instantly bundled tight in his coat.

"The south pole, and maybe the National Socialist Regions," Tails offered. He stood before Tristen, and around him was a veil of heat. This kept the snow from stinging his eyes. "But I haven't seen snow like this."

"Neither have I. Not even Celcius was bold enough to have it going at this pace unless you really pissed him the hell off." I said to them. "Though...that was kind of very easily done." Instincts tripped finally. "That way, I sens-"

"Blizzard wait." Freth said, looking off in a different direction. "I don't like the feel of that." I was finally getting to what she was feeling, and I too wasn't liking that feeling.

There were two sources of chi that seemed to flow through the air. One was in a massive drain, heading towards one source. The other was apparently a bit farther away that just now spawned. "This doesn't get any easier, does it?" Tristen asked.

"That's basically what we live for. Alright, lets find out whats going on here."

"Should we split up?" Freth asked.

"In this mess? No. I rather not take any chances." I said. "Lets go for the closest thing out of place and work from there."

Tails nodded. "We wouldn't know where we are, either." He stepped out into the storm, clutching his shirt against his chest. Part of him worried it might blow away altogether. "If we need fire, let me know!"

"I'll be sure to." I said. "Come on, this way!" I then started to make my way forward into the harsh winds and snow. For some stupid reason, even this was taxing on me, and Im one for this sort of thing. "Ugh, this is unreal! I'm almost convinced that this has to be related to those other reports!"

"You think we should stay out then?" Tails yelled. He could barely hear himself over the the squalor. "Especially with Tristen!"

"We won't be any better off! Sure, me and Freth could take the cold in the long run, but if this weather persists, the electricity is going to go, which leaves the entire town in a freezer! Rarely can anyone live under such extreme frozen conditions like this for long!" I shouted. "And my hunch is whatever the hell I am feeling is the cause of this mess! Or at least one of the two things anyways!"

Odd was in the Snagem training room, once again sparring with Lykas. Both boys had a ramen cup sitting nearby. They were almost done with their current session.

"You're improving fast." Lykas complimented as he swung his fist in for an uppercut.

"Thanks, but I'm not even close to anyone else around here." Odd responded. "There's a difference in learning to fight back and being good at it."

"That's tr-Oof!" Lykas responded, cut off by Odd knocking him over. "Oi, nice move there." He was anything but please by the turn of events. Proud of Odd for learning to defend himself? Yes. Glad the boy was learning so quickly? Definitely. Happy he'd got himself beaten by a newbie fighter? No.

"Let's call it quits for a while. I'm hungry and there's instant ramen waiting for me." Odd announced as he walked over to his ramen cup. It was easy to tell the difference. Lykas' had a fork in it while his had chopsticks.

"Good point!" Tails worried more about Tristen and Pryce in that scenario. "Just lead the way, Blizz. I can't pick anything out in this storm."

I pushed my way through the storm, following where my instincts would lead. It would be a bit, but we would eventually find ourselves nearby the Pokemon Center near the center of town, where the feeling would be at its most greatest to me. Near the Pokemon Center is the spare generator pod, where it would kick on incase power did in fact go out and they needed backup power for their needs. Attached to it however, was something that didn't seem to belong. A device of some sort. Chi seems to be taking in like a vaccum and dispersed again, though, what comes out is just a gratuitous amounts of lake and wind, everything else seems to be taken in and left in within the machine. "....the hell?"

"Is that what causing this mess!?" Freth asked.

"Who would put that thing here!?" Tristen asked. "What is it!?"

"I don't know, but I think it best go. Now."

Tails didn't understand how this device could output so much chi. But with it still attached to that generator, he couldn't set it ablaze. He trudged to the wall of the Pokemon center, and began to search the perimeter. His steps were slow, in case Blizz called for him.

Tristen started to move around the area as well as Freth and I pushed our way through the device. "Freth, here. Help me." I said, trying to take the device off of the generator.

"Alright." She and I tried to move the thing, trying to find a means to getting it off, but to no avail.

"Blast it. Who the hell-"

"Hey! Get away from there!" I turned away from the device seeing two men, in heavy, insulated coats and probably the weirdest helmets I have ever seen.

"......."

"......."

"......."

"A Coca-Cola says that these are the idiots doing this." I said.

Tails' ears perked. Those weren't voices he knew. He dropped into the snow, and burrowed beneath. Slowly, he crawled in such a direction that he would pass the two at six feet away.

It was at this moment he was glad his clothes were loose enough to slip off beneath the snow. He took his Pokeballs with him.

"What the hell is this thing!?" I shouted to the two. "Shut it off!"

"What it is to you is none of your business and we have no intention of cutting it off unless told otherwise by those more important than you." One of the two spoke.

"I'm in favor for breaking this thing now." Freth said.

"Same."

Tristen looked down then up ahead. Tails disappeared in the snow. ".....?"

Tails didn't emerge yet. It was cold, and hard to use his heat in place of oxygen without melting the snow around him. He couldn't hold this balance for long. He just wanted to wait for that first clash of battle...
