Daddy's Blue Star
Cub name: Nola
Meaning: Fair Shoulder (Irish)
Personality: Nola is a sweet dear of a thing. She doesn't have a mean bone in her body. She has quite the motherly side to her and tries her best to care for those around her, which does comin handy in the pride. Her family is VERY important to her and she would do anything for any one of them.
Diseased? (Diseased, Immune or Carrier. If diseased, how severe?)
How will the cub deal with the sickness, both of herself (if diseased) and the other pride members: She will be diseased, she wont show symptoms till late in life but it will become sever fast. Because she will think that she is immune Nola will do what she can to help those who are sick, she doesnt see them as dirty or anything she just wants to make things easier for them.
Future plots/ideas: Nola will beleive that she is immune jsut like her father, it will only be once she has had her first litter of cubs that she even begins to show symptoms (the stress of the pregnancy and labour is what will cause the onset). Depending on how plotting works she will either die during the birth of her second litter or before being able to have more. Before she begins to show symptoms though she will work as a healer in the pride trying to care for all of those that are sick around her.

Cub name: Lleu
Meaning: This name is derived from the name of an ancient Celtic god, meaning "shining one". I choose this name to help show her shining personality of hope for the pride.
Personality: Lleu is sweet but definitely the oddball of the family. She loves history with a passion, and is determined to trace all the roots of her pride. Even the roots that may be hidden in the past or even hidden in the present in plan sight. She loves her family and pride very much, and part of her hopes that by tracing back the roots of the pride and learning from the beginning. Maybe just maybe she could help find the key to trying to help this disease to spread no longer. She is determined, feisty, loving, caring, and will let nothing bring her down. No matter how many say her task and goal is impossible, she will keep going until she finds the answers she is looking for.
Any future plots/ideas:
I will find away: this plot will be a plot were she tries to track down the eldest of the pride members. Hopefully during this hunt, she will be able to learn some more detailed information about the pride. Information maybe her father doesn't even know about. The journey will be long and the hunt hard to do, but she will never give up until she gets some answers!

Every fall is just a minor set back: This plot will be a plot to see if she can really handle what lies ahead. What if their is no cure? What if she can do nothing to stop it? Will that affect her from continuing forward or just drive her more? The thing that will bring this plot together is a pride member who will try to make her see reality. She is just a cub with a foolish goal and that is what the pride member hopes to make her see. Will it work or will she completely ignore the fact that maybe theirs nothing she can do?

Did you know? In this plot Lleu will find a friend most likely a guy friend, who has the disease but is not quite showing it yet. She will befriend this cub and they will become her confidant. She will tell them everything she finds out and explain to them just why she has to do this task. This will be a friendship full of facts with each cub growing closer than ever.

You're what?! This plot is when she will find out about her close friend, her confident - has the disease. At first she will be heartbroken, how could she not see the signs? weren't they all their for her eyes to see? This plot will help develop her personality even greater than any plot before. It will help her re-evaluate her goals, while at the same time realizing the great value of family. Will this bring her family and her best friend closer? or will it only intensify her goal to find out how to stop this disease from hurting anyone else close to her?

Prompt # 1.
Prompt Reply: The day was bright and beautiful in Lleu's eyes as she pounced towards where her father was at. For today was the day she thought to herself, "I'm going to do it! I'm going to ask dad just why him and my mother aren't together. Its time, I can feel it." With those fatal words in her head, she walked in to where she had heard her father was at. She entered with a smile, her hopes higher than ever, and awaited to hear just what her father might say to her.

It was only a few minutes later after she had asked her questions, she was quickly told to go away. Her father didn't mean it meanly but he could tell it might be for the better. She needed to go away and think about what he had said for a little bit, at least that's why she figured he had sent her away for. Her head was swarming as she walked one foot in front of the other, trying not to fall over out of shock. As she left the area she had found her father at, her face had a dumbfounded expression on it. How could someone have kids with someone he didn't love? The question kept running though and though her mind like a puzzle she couldn't solve. She was the child of a loveless relationship, but how...didn't people have kids with people because they cared for them?

She walked for a few minutes until she came to the base of a tree and collasped. The place she had collasped at, was far enough out of view from anyone that she finally let the tears escape from her eyes. As they rolled from her eyes down her cheek, she spoke out to the tree, "How could this be the real answer? its not right...this isn't what I wanted to hear him say." She laid there with her paws covering her face, wishing everything she heard was a dream. It took a her a few more minutes before she finally pulled herself together, "Maybe their was a reason and dad just left it out ... ya there has to be something! Dad's not that kinda guy after all..." She quickly used her right paw and sniffed her nose a few times. After that she began to think of the prides history and everything that came with having a family in this pride. Having a family in this pride was hard to do and she knew it. With the disease running rampant who knew who could get or even who carried it.

That was when it hit her, the disease! Dad did care for her mother, he just didn't want her to have to be bothered by the disease. Since it could really put a strain on a mother with three cubs. Since having to await each day wondering which cub of yours might have the disease or which escaped it. That could put a strain on any mother, and she could only imagine what being a mother in this pride might be like. A living nightmare that what it would be, she concluded quietly in her mind. "I knew dad had to have cared at least a little about mom..." she whispered in the wind as her red eyes looked towards the sky. "The disease could have made her life stressful and maybe she couldn't have handled it. Though dad knew he could and was strong enough to make it through, he just did what he thought was best. ...Man I have the sweetest dad in the pride," she said out loud not caring if it was the truth or not. This fantasy in her head was better than the alternative of a person having cubs without love for each other. Her sisters and her had to have been special in some way and this had to be why things turned how they did.

"Its the disease," Lleu whispered, "Maybe if I can find the cure or the reason for it being here. I can save some other cubs from having to hear things like this from their parents. I can help ease the stress of the disease that is put upon parents..." with that she slowly began to fade from exhaustion. All the the stuff she had found out today had worn her out. She slowly laid her tired head on top of her paws and began to drift off into the world of dreams. "I will find a way ..." she whispered to the world as her eyes shut for what would hopefully be a peaceful dream.
