Dedicated to his family and pride, very noble yet strict when it comes to morality and justice. He takes his job very seriously and is devoted to the well being of those he calls friends and the innocent. Often misunderstood and considered prideful or stern, he is just a simple male trying to do his best with what he has been given. In private he is a loving mate and doting father, often showing a rare touch of understanding to kids games and the trouble all youths get themselves into. A strict father, Giovanni nonetheless showed great affection for his children, and saw a younger version of himself in their antics at times.

Current head of the Auditore line, and a descendant of Altaïr Ibn-La'Ahad, Giovanni's true nature as an Assassin was known only to a few. Raised and trained along with his brother Mario from birth to be a skilled warrior, and proved able to hold his own against a number of opponents in combat with relative ease. He was also a competent free runner and would often use the skill when shadowing a target.Giovanni was always aware of the dangers to his pride and family though in the end it proved inadequate when his pride was finally attacked and forced into hiding.
The Kizi: Giovanni and his mate Maria had lived all their lives in their family pride, it was a small band dedicated to protection of the innocent and the triumph of free will over dictatorship. All of them were warriors, born and trained from the time they could walk to uphold the creed of their pride, truth, justice and honor. They had rivals, a band of equally dedicated military-turned-nobles and diplomats who thought to create a perfect world, through force and control and by taking away their free will, to 'protect' the lions from themselves and what the pride deemed 'bad choices'. The small warrior band of Assassins fought the nobles in an endless war, each side suffering heavy losses and yet gaining small victories. Then the nobles hired a band of rogues, violent huge brutes with more brawn than brain. Under the Nobles guidance, they attacked and finally destroyed the family's pride, slaying nearly all the members. Those few who were left fled the area, going into hiding for many months, taking new names for themselves ad staying far away from any other pride. By the time Giovanni and Maria resurfaced there was no one left of their family, the last survivors scattered to the four winds.
The pair finally reached the boarder of the Kizingo'zaa pride's land and with no strength to go any further, they sought safety within the pride, hoping that at last they would be able to rest and grieve for those who had been lost.
The sanctuary of the pride and its open-door policy and general secrecy attracted the homeless couple. Knowing that there were few places that would tolerate their beliefs, the Kizingo'zaa's open-minded status was a god-send. Giovanni has no issues abiding by the 'harm none' policy of the pride and is almost counting on the pride's new high level of secrecy to protect his mate and their family, having lost faith in his own ability to protect them alone.

The husband of Maria Auditore, and father to Federico, Ezio, Claudia and Petruccio, Giovanni sought to induct his children into the assassin ways, but had only revealed his allegiance to his wife by the time of his death; despite this however, he had already begun to train his sons in the Assassin ways, albeit secretively.

Born into the noble Mozzi family, Maria liked to blend with "real citizens" when she was younger, leading to her chance meeting with the lion who would later become her husband. As a member of the Auditore family, she continued to fraternize with the lower classes, developing a working relationship with many, ignoring her noble parent's wishes.

Maria de' Mozzi was born into a powerful family. Her parents strongly protected her from the outside world, which she grew tired of by adolescence. Her parents allowed her to start crafting close to the family palazzo. A week later, while working, she met "a man with such conviction I found myself rooted to the spot, I couldn't look anywhere else." This man, Giovanni Auditore, developed a close relationship with Maria, and soon after they married. Following their marriage, Maria went to live with Giovanni in their own den away from her family. Giovanni became inducted into the Assassin Order, a secret which she helped him keep from their cubs then Maria herself became inducted into the Order sometime thereafter.

Tahirah is a sweet female, very innocent of the ways of the world. Though she is not exactly naive she is the kind of girl who would do anything for another, no matter who they were which would make her vulnerable when away from family and friends. She believes everyone has goodness within them and that many are simply misunderstood or have been affected by a rough past. She adores cubs and is very gentle and understanding with them. Very few youngsters ever have cause to dislike Tahirah though she is never the best when discipline is required.

As with the rest of the pride, this female is tough both inside and out, with a lifetime's experience in warfare. No longer a young female but not yet old, she is at the height of her skill and prowess. Yet this hard life has changed her, left its mark on more than just her fur. The constant fighting has left her wary of strangers, her attitude gruff and no-nonsense both on and off the battle field. She pushes herself hard and expects the same from everyone else in the pride, it is not favoritism, just simply their way of life. The second eldest daughter, she is severely abused by her father Noir along with her older sister Foi. The pair try their best to protect their younger siblings and end up 'shareing' the beatings that result their father's frequent rages She and her elder sibling are taken away from him by the Queen of the Nera and given to his 'twin' Bugie to raise. It isn't until they are adols that she comes to realize her mother did not die given birth to her and that her father and his twin are the same leopard. He goes missing during the Hybrid war, but returns later having merged his two personalities and seeks to reconcile with his cubs. Charité is nervous, unable to accept he had changed so much from when he used to beat her and her sister. She follows Foi when the elder begins to search for their mother, who they learned didn't die, but was in fact was traded away to the Colony and still resides among them.

Trathnóna is a fighter. Not particularly big, but big enough, not the strongest but lean and solid with muscle, he is your classic foot soldier. Generally calm and thoughtful he does not fight without a cause, but the plight of his fellow colonists has finally forced him into action and he has thrown his weight behind Mah'Rie'Meiah more for lack of a better option than anything. While he doesn't agree with the 'enslave the Aristocracy' mantra he does feel that things need to change, and soon. He wants to mate his beloved Maidin and have cubs in a safe and happy home, not live the rest of his life pining for his lost love and regretting the 'what ifs' of life.

He was born on the colonies to his colonist mother and an unknown male. Not considered fit to be aristocratic he has been fighting against the prejudice of the mainland his entire life. He saw, met and fell in love with an aristocratic lioness named Maidin. Head over heals for her he decided he wanted to take her as his mate, no other would do. But of course, she was nobility and he a simple colonist... it was around that time that he head about Mah'Rie'Meiah and while he was wary of the extreme lengths the female was willing to go, he knew the pride as a whole needed to change and that this was the only opportunity that he had to do something about it. A bit of an idealist he believes that once the mainlanders acknowledge there is an issue, they can all gather and talk it through and come up with a proper solution. But for the time being he is siding with Mah'Rie'Meiah in the hopes that somehow, his ideal future will eventually come to pass.

One day, she meets and falls in love with this mysterious dark male, and the two eventually fall in love. However, this love has a terrible cost. He was born on the colonies and his mother was a colonist and his father of unknown pedigree, and so, he's not considered fit to be aristocratic. One night, he steals away to the love of his life and admits everything, the paramount shock that he's a member of the coalition lead by Mah'Rie'Meiah Barutono that's sworn to enslave the Aristocracy and bring the colonies to power. She loves him very much, and he loves her so much it physically hurts to be apart, but they don't know who to talk to... Except the Lady's best friend, a black and red leopardess raised as her sister.
