Tristan trailed behind Marcus with a wild grin, "Oh, damn. And here I thought you were just my type-" -of meal he was speeding up. Then, he dipped into the ground while chasing Marcus, his presence turning the ground pure black.

"Annoying ghost boy," Marcus said as he caught up with Abigail and grabbed her and he actually threw her at Tristan. He laughed and watched at the elf girl simply laughed and caught herself on a tree and sat down to watch though she didn't have much time to sit and watch since Marcus turned around suddenly and flew above Tristan and toward the elf again. This all seemed to be a big game to both Abigail and Marcus. It was a game for Abigail because she was bored, and a game to Marcus because he was having fun messing with the ghost boy.

Bored...this is boring...No...maybe since I've been around average humans, I've taken a liking to exchanges...I need to remember... he thought as his frown became a slight grin. He realized how he was acting. Tristan knew he wasn't a hero, he was a phantom among the other creatures in the school. If he wanted to fit in, he'd need to relax and live a little, "I'm a spirit, so I need to act like one."
He could only laugh to himself as he left the ground, leaving it stained black as he floated in front of the fire-boy, "Well, how about a game of tag? You're it."
Tristan's foot kicked the guy in the back of his head, "Heh."

"Perhaps later?" Marcus said in an actual kind voice as he ran into the forest only to let out a 'yelp'.
Abigail jumped out of the tree and looked down to see Marcus in a huge whole with bars made of earth. "Okay, remember your deal mr. demon." She chuckled lightly and looked at the ghost, "Ever make a deal with a demon? They aren't such a bad thing to do." She chuckled and let the demon go.
Marcus cursed under his breath and flew up and stood next to the elf. "Yeah yeah.."

"You'd better not forget," he laughed a bit. I thought I just made a friend... he thought as he landed on a tree near them, the black residue he left in the ground slowly began to travel up the tree and into his body, "So, just what's with you two? You're interestingly amazing and amazingly annoying."

Marcus sighed, "First things first, don't label me annoying along with her. She's the annoying one. A long time ago I burned her forest down but before I could kill her she saved me from...well I can't tell you unless you want to suffer internal hell. Anyway we made a deal that if I spared her life she'd let me take her soul but she said that if she manages to catch me in a form of trap that I have to quit chasing her for a month then I can try again. I should have killed her then but...a deal is a deal." He sighed and rubbed the back of his head as he looked down at the elf who was smiling and rocking back and forth. "She may seem stupid, annoying and innocent...but she's not stupid or innocent...an evil little thing she is."

"Yea, I really don't doubt that...She seems absent minded, slow, clumsy, childish, manipulative, spoiled, irritating, red-button pusher, seems like the type to go down a path labelled DANGER, foolish, idiotic, and irritating...but I get the feeling that's she's just irritatingly irritating," he said said harshly yet upbeat. His cruel and insulting tone on the words where odd confidering the friendly smile he wore on his facial expression as he stared at the elf girl.

Abigail looked at him smiling but slowly it bean to fade away, "You say that so easily and cheerful...like you know me. You have to be the billionth person to do so." She looked at him as if someone told the nicest innocent person that they're trash and nothing. Her face was filled with complete utter sorrow as she turned and disappeared into the forest.
"Wow..that was harsh dude," Marcus said as he stared at her walking away. "Pretty much crushed the poor girl." He laughed since he was an a**..but he had excuse..he was in hell after all.

"Dammmmmmmmn..." he growled under his voice, irritated at her reaction. He followed behind her and said, "Stop with the tears, I apologize. Now, stop whinning already! Look, I shouldn't have said all of that even though its what I really think! It's better to say it honestly than lying and smiling to your face while thinking it, right?" He scratched his head Me and my girlfriend just had an argument about this a year ago...Why are people so sensitive these days? Man...

Abigail turned around and looked at him with a blank expression, "My not crying, but try not to judge people before you truly know them..it makes people hate you...its a friendly advice for you. Besides if I irritate you so much then why did you follow me, don't try to cheer someone up if you're not up for doing it." She turned away from him and made her way back toward the school.
Marcus appeared behind Tristan and chuckled, "Ah yes...maybe now she'll go commit suicide trying to keep all those emotions in. I can take her soul now, thanks." He said patting the ghostly man on the shoulder grinning.

"...What...did you...say...you..." a veined throbbed on the back of his head as he left eye twitched. He watched her walk off and said, "This is what I get after you nearly made me homeless with a rock..." Just as he was about to leave, a hand touch his shoulder: Marcus "Ah yes...maybe now she'll go commit suicide trying to keep all those emotions in. I can take her soul now, thanks." "..." Tristan groaned as he turned his face slightly and eyed the demon who was laughing, "You're just eating this up...Wait, why they heck are you still here? It's not right for a demon to try to possess a phantom, you know? It never goes right."

"She almost made you homeless? She did that to me once...though I had her fix it which was easy for her i guess since everything is basically made of the earth." He laughed and now there was really no reason for this guy to be so angry with the elf. ""Posses you? What the hell would I do some s**t like that for? I'm only interested in a selected number of souls, which her's at the top of my list..don't know why but something about it seems....tainted and completely horrible." He grinned and clapped. "Yes sir, thanks to you I might be having that soul soon."

"Sounds like you have a thing for her," Tristan said sarcastically as he turned around completely. He sighed a bit while ruffling his own hair with his right hand, "You know, I think she may be stronger than you think...mentally, I mean. She's screwed you over before, this time might be no different."
Tristan shrugged and began to walk away, "The name's Tristan. I owe you a game of tag, crappy-demon." He began laughed as he walked toward the last place he'd seen Alice. She's probably going to snap because of what happened with the elf-girl.

Marcus laughed, "No heart means not giving a s**t about anyone else." He followed Tristan for the hell of it since he was bored and this guy was funny when irritated. "That may be, but after what you said to her you'll be the one screwed and perhaps in the end you two will kill each other some how and I get two souls rather than one..that sounds good to me." Marcus told him his name after his opinion and looked around for a moment before walking past the ghostly man.

"Marcus, you're like a tic on a boar..." he said while trying to avoid looking at Marcus. Why'd this guy get attached to him? His eyes drooped into an annoyed glare, "You're just screwing with me, huh?"
