His Story: Kivuli’Damu is the child of Nyota’Angavu and Bishara a rouge female. When it came time for her to give birth the femme found a secluded spot and was in for a very painful night. The first cub that came out was Kivuli, he was a larger cub and very strong only letting out one soft cry before going quiet. The other two cubs that were born were still born but what scared the femme the most was how dilapidated and sickly they appeared. The two dead cubs also had marks upon their bodies as if they had been attacked whilst in the womb. Bishara found herself watching the only cub that survived the birth closely and with apprehension. While cubs would have cried out when they were uncomfortable, hungry or sleepy Kivuli was a very quiet boy. He cried when Bishara would forget about him because of how quiet he was but aside from that he was silent.
As he grew Kivuli was still a silent lad but he became stoic with age. Bishara watched as he began to play with other young animals and she started to believe that there was not anything wrong with her son. That didn’t last long before Bishara noticed that Kivuli never seemed to be with other children long. Kivuli had begun to manipulate the children using sweet words and getting them to play games with him that would have the other children never returning. When rumors of this reached Bishara she decided to find out about it on her own. What she saw was rather frightening as she heard Kivuli speaking to himself but another voice, a deeper one, answered and came from Kivuli. With this knowledge Bishara realized just how strange her son was and how much of a danger he was to others but she could not bring herself to kill him, especially since he had already grown close to the size of a young adult male. Instead Bishara resolved to try and find the pride that his father was a member of and take Kivuli to him, there was a chance that he would know what to do.
Kivuli and Bishara began to travel from the only place that Kivuli had known as home. They wandered with Bishara never telling Kivuli their destination for three years until Kivuli finally had enough. He was fed up with Bishara’s evasive questions, her suspicious glances at him out of the corner of his eye and the voice he had grown to call his friend spoke of a betrayal. Fully believing this to be true Kivuli approached his mother and demanded an answer from her, she tried to be evasive thinking he would get fed up but Kivuli struck at her. Bishara cowered before her son as she saw something stranger enter his eyes. The other voice had begun to speak to her, demanding he tell her just where she was taking them and what her plan had been, this time Bishara gave in and told their destination. The being paused and seemed to think something over before a smirk had formed upon Kivuli’s maw. The voice told hwo Bishara should have given this information up when she had first been asked instead of being evasive she might have stayed alive. In a flash Kivuli had his jaws set firmly around his mother’s throat and he bit down feeling the windpipe pierced by his sharp canines. He kept his jaws set as he continued to hear her wheeze and only released after the wheezing had slowly stopped. He licked the blood off of his lips before turning and walking away.
The voice, who had already introduced himself to Kivuli as Apophis told the male that continuing on to the pride was the best opportunity for them. Since his father turned out to be someone of a notable bloodline the pride could be a place for them to stay and have a stable home once more. Both Apophis and Kivuli were not too concerned about being accepted by the pride, he has always been upon his own so the thought that he would continue to be was not something that was unpleasant to him.
When Kivuli did find the Aikinaro’hini he found himself interested in the Morifaer side of the pride. He went through the joining of the pride and became a Qateth, a spot where he knew his ability would be tested no matter what.

Dragonette's Name & Meaning: Shideh - bright, luminous

Her Story: Shideh was a defender in her pride, drawing upon the dragons that she takes after in appearance. Cunning and strong, she was a forced to be reckoned with, whether it was an intruder or prey. But not even her honed skills could protect her from the storm that came, washing away everything she held dear...except for one other pride member that was able to cling to the same log that she had found.
Together they traveled, keeping each other's spirits high, helping to protect and feed one another, until they reached the Peponi-pya. She was grateful to find a pride that welcomed strangers, and was completely taken aback to find that another of their pride had reached these lands. Not just anyone, but the sister of the old leader. Painfully curious with questions but afraid to ask, Shideh keeps to herself, only speaking to the pride member that she came with. She's cautious and still a bit shaken from her ordeal, but is very eager to be helpful and be a part of her new pride. It just might take a patient soul who is willing to coax the dragon out of her cave.

His Story:
Malwafindë is generally good-natured and non-confrontational. He is able to keep a very calm exterior, even when he is seething inside. He is generally able to let go of whatever made him angry, and rarely holds a grudge. However, when Malwafindë dislikes someone or something, he will engage in passive resistance (e.g. doing the bare minimum; purposely misconstruing directives) until the problem goes away.
He completely honors the beliefs of the Pride. He knows that to struggle against his station would only weaken the group, as well as himself. He never was the brightest, but thoroughly enjoys using his muscles to accomplish a task. Hard work fulfills him, and because of this he has found it easy to make peace with being a Na'artu.
He knows he is already lucky to have been born a Lion. And although he has never dared to say it out loud, he knows that there has to be something fantastic down the road for him, since the Gods blessed him with a deep, purple mane...
