Despite the paralysis the Scizor's attack was true as it made contact with the tiny electric fairy mouse, sending it tumbling onto the ground, though the mouse quickly got up for more as if the attack didn't do half as much as it should have. "I see the young master was correct, you are nothing more than a mindless brute. I am privileged to be able I spare my masters the burden of evicting you from the premises. Dedenne, Flash." With that command, Dedenne would give Scizor a cute little wave before a bright flash of light came from its cheeks, quickly engulfing the area with its white brilliance.

Come again? That Dedenne should have been cut to ribbons with such a blow. It shows itself to be electric type - even for that matter, that thing looks like another cousin to a Pikachu! My eyes widened upon the next call, and I quickly turned away. Scizor, unfortunately, got the full brunt of the blinding light.

"Zor!" The Scizor yelped, it wanted to even rub its eyes from the blinding flash, but it couldn't even move to do that much. The paralysis took hold.

"Ok...this...is bad." As Scizor stood there, I thought for a moment, as fast as I could, tried to figure out what was with this Dedenne. Was it something else by chance? What else resisted a bug attack, especially one of that caliber? This thing isn't a steel type itself, is it?

The butler didn't so much as smile, and yet it was obvious he loved how this battle was going already. "Time to use this moment to freshen up. Dedenne, Parabolic Charge." The butler commanded.

Dedenne would begin to charge up energy in its cheeks as it got on all fours and stuck its five-pointed tail into the air. Once the mouse was done charging it unleashed a pulsating wave of electricity from all around it which consume those unfortunate enough to be near. The electricity would behave strangely however as it shocked its enemy, surged through its body, and then bolted back to Dedenne. The mouse would absorb the electricity as soon as it had unleashed it, the small wounds it sustained from the X-Scissor healing its self as the mouse now seemed at full health again.

The attacks would pepper Scizor, but Scizor over all wasn't taking that much damage himself. I wonder if this is this butler's plan...just to whittle Scizor out. Admittingly, Scizor can be a bit brutish and it'll take a lot for him to go down, but even so, it won't matter if Scizor can't fight back between getting blinded and the paralysis taking hold. This butler is really wanting to toy with me; perhaps get me frustrated. He might want to look at his master if he wants to frustrate someone.

Still though, I'm drawing a blank as to what this Dedenne is, because nothing I come up with makes any sense. I started to see Scizor move a bit, maybe a sign that he can move again, at least for now. I'm going to have to experiment at every opportunity. Is he a steel type? Let's try this... "Scizor! Try a Slash attack!"

Scizor winced about, trying to fight through a bit of the blindness still and pushing through the paralysis, managing to catch a slight glimpse of the mouse then rushes for it, coming down with his claws.

Blizzard and Scizor would finally see some progress as the bug swiped at the mouse and struck it against its left side, sending the mouse reeling as it seemed that they actually did some damage for once.

"Hm, so you can do something. Very well, Dedenne use Charge Beam." Dedenne would respond by getting on all fours and pointing the tip of its tail at the Scizor, firing off a beam of pure electricity at the bug's chest. Looks like it was going on the offensive now.

Scizor felt himself connect with the attack, but instantly lost the mouse soon after it moved off. The Charge Beam didn't help matters either. An attack that I was familiar with, for that matter. I had to shut down this mouse somehow, now, otherwise the Dedenne was going to eventually overpower Scizor anyhow.

With all said, I was left a bit confused...so it wasn't a steel type, it actually took MORE damage than it did with the X-Scissor. My mind constantly sped through the various types, trying to figure out what is this mouse's secret. An idea occurred to me, just then...I may have figured it out. Even so, if I'm right, then the typing will screw around with it anyways, because of Dedenne's apparent electric typing. I might need to do something real quick...

"Scizor, can you Swords Dance?" I spoke up. Scizor tried to stand up straight to prepare for the dance, but paralysis refused to let up. "...guess not..."

"Hmph, this battle seems to not be worth my time...alas the young master's word is final and so I must defeat you. Don't feel too bad, noble Scizor, Pokemon aren't meant to be trained by other Pokemon so it is not your fault." The butler scoffed. "Dedenne, another Charge Beam." Just as Blizzard might had feared, the Dedenne fired off yet another Charge Beam from its tail and it was larger than the last. It would be obvious that the last attack had increased the mouse's special attack stat and it intended to keep raising it until the Scizor was at its mercy. For now, the beam of electricity flew towards the vulnerable Bug, prepared to slam into it.

"I knew it..." I said. Scizor gets blasted with the attack, the force was actually enough to knock it over this time, and if it's done again, it'll be even worse. Scizor might not make it in perhaps another couple of shots and the paralysis is really not helping matters. That Nuzzle must be heavily potent to even give Scizor this much grief.

Scizor managed to get back on its feet. I guess this was the point where it was time to go for broke. I believe I had the typing figured out on this thing; though such a thing comes off as weird, but I got nothing else. I don't think I can risk doing another Swords Dance; such a thing apparently is taxing in Scizor's paralyzed state. I got to go for broke. "Scizor, if you can, Bullet Punch!"

For a second, it looked as if Scizor was going to be held up again. However, Scizor had the same sentiment that I did...this butler REALLY needed to shut up. Scizor kicked off the ground and made the best dash that it could, making its way to the Dedenne.

The Bullet Punch would prove to be devastating as Scizor slammed its claw into the tiny Dedenne, the power mouse not standing a chance as it was sent flying into the wall of paintings. "De-de..." With a mumble, the Dedenne would slide down the wall and hit the ground face first, completely knocked out. It was such a struggle to actually hit the thing but it looks like it wasn't too hard to take it down.

"Hmph..." The butler huffed, recalling his Pokemon, turning away from him soon after. "The young master is in the dining hall at this moment. If you excuse me, I have work to do..." That was an odd thing to point out before leaving, oh well.

"Scizor..." The Scizor's voice moaned out.

"All fun and games until someone comes out over you...typical. Sorry Dedenne for having to beat you, but I can't fault you. The blind shouldn't lead the blind, after all." I said, practically mocking the butler's attitude earlier. Though admittingly, this was a bit of a close call, honestly. Scizor couldn't take the fight too much longer with the paralysis screwing him over as it was. "You did good, Scizor."

"Scizor...sci zor..."

"Yea, I know. These guys are pulling out Pokemon native to this region and I don't know a lot yet...that Dedenne was also a Fairy type, that I can figure. I suppose that Fairy types resist bug attacks. Another note for future reference. Anyways, take a rest for the time being, alright?" I recalled Scizor back to its ball, but the something that I realized. The so-called master is in the dining hall? Hmm...alright then...

I then made my way off on the hunt for the room in question.

Blizzard would eventually make his way to the dining hall. What he would find there is an enormous room (justified to be called a hall) decorated with luxurious drapes, chairs adorned in precious metal, and a massive diamond chandelier hanging above a table which seemed to stretch on forever. This room oozed elegance, the highest point of society.

There were many of the chateau's nobles seated at the table, maids and butlers running up and down its length to serve them food fit for a king. Was that roasted Farfetch'd? Looks like eating the stuff wasn't illegal here like most of the world.

The hybrid in the room wouldn't have too much time to look the place over as he would feel all the eyes in the dining hall fixing their gaze on him. Almost everyone stopped eating, even the help had trouble continuing their tasks as they too stared at Blizzard. No one said a word, just waited to see what this half-breed was going to do.

Aaaaand, silence. A reprieve compared to what I have been dealing with for most of the day thus far. I stepped in and closed the door behind me. I walked down one side of the table, unfazed by the stares given by the onlookers.

I reached to the end of the table, a still open seat. I pulled it out and sat down, looking at everyone else. The faces, ever staring still, though at least it'd give me a clear view of where "Mr. Short-fuse" was at.

Still, no one said a word as Blizzard sat down and yet several of them noticeably flinched, as if the act of him sitting physically hurt them. At least a minute after he sat down no one spoke nor moved, it wasn't until that a butler nervously moved over towards Blizzard and sat a bowl of soup in front of him did someone speak.

"What is that kind doing here!?" An elderly woman shouted as she slapped a hand on the table, the sound of the hit echoing through out the hall. "Grandmother! Manners!" A much younger lad declared in shock as he heard his apparent grandmother. After that there wasn't so much of another word said as silence fell over the room once again, the help finally going about their business as things started to flowing again, however with much tension.

The Cold One could see 'the young master' four chairs down on his side at the table. He could be shooting glances at Blizzard every now and then, curling his lip in disgust, but he didn't speak.

"What are you? A young female child asked Blizzard as she skipped up to him from behind, nervously reaching out to touch one of his feathers. The question might have seemed rude but the tone she used indicated that she was sincere. That was a kid for you.

I actually had to hold back a laugh for a moment. I wanted to make a snide remark, but the kids showing the adults up? Infinitely better. I just left it be. I took note, seeing the various faces on the table. The Comebuy? Just a few chairs down. I got a feeling that we may be exchanging words again pretty soon.

As I was served the soup, I started to go down the various silverware...if anything, at least I was SOMEWHAT familiar to the silverware. Let's see...soup spoon...soup spoon...

I then perked up, looking behind me. I gave a bit of a laugh. "Just someone on vacation looking for a few Pokemon battles." I said.

A look of amazement washed over the child's face as Blizzard spoke. The kid seemed like they wanted to talk more but before they could a maid came up and hurried the child back to their chair.

"Hello there, strange one!" A hearty voice shouted out to Blizzard from way across the table. The table was so long that is difficult to see the source of the voice but to everyone in this room it was painfully easy to know who was talking. "Win lots of battles? After dinner how would you like to see the gardens? Maybe then-" Despite the distance, Wulfric would try to scream a conversation at Blizzard, as it he wasn't already a sore thumb in this place.

"Then after that maybe a battle!" Wulfric said, not having a chance to say much more once Blizzard's best friend, 'the young master' got up from his chair. Without a word he would slam the chair into the table and begin to stomp off, as if the prospect of Wulfric battling Blizzard angered him.

Silence would fall over the room, the help still going about their way but no one spoke. "Come have a seat near me, strong one." Wulfric shouted one last time.

I watched as the kid is moved off back to his seat and I gave a bit of a chuckle. "Cute kid..." I said. I faced my soup bowl once again, finally grabbing the soup spoon and before I had the chance to even get the spoon in the soup, the booming voice made me jump. I looked back towards the entrance. Well, that's a friendly face compared to most I've seen here...I could live without the booming voice though, but eh, can't win it all, right?

I watched Comebuy storm out of the dining hall, giving a mere shrug but upon the notion of moving closer towards Wulfric, I guess I was game. "Sure..." I took the bowl and moved down towards the table and sat down next to Wulfric. "At any rate, a battle sounds real good." In fact it sounded perfect. Surely Wulfric has some prestiege around here, enough to get me pretty well recognized. "I won every one in here thus far - a couple of close calls though, but that was kind of more towards me not really knowing the Pokemon in this region. But hey, that is basically why I'm out in this region anyhow. Who knows? Someone could come to Mahogany Gym with say...I don't know...like a Dedenne, like the one I ended up battling against before coming in here, for instance. The more I learn, the better."
