||Ulla and Leon||

Leon sighed as he was following his little sister to the battle field. "What exactly happen Ulla? I thought you don't pick fights?" "I don't. This is just a friendly Pokemon battle. That's all." For some reason, Leon had a tough time believing that. He then yawned as he stopped walking. "I'll be watching from the stands." Ulla looked back as she smiled warmly. She was about to take out a couple of Pokeballs, debating on who she should choose. "Ulla." She then turned back to her brother. "Don't go easy just because this is another Snagem. Okay?"

Leon then kept walking as he took a seat in one of the stands. Ulla then stood on the other side of the stadium as the lights on that side turned on. "Hello Geoff. I'm ready to battle." She said as she pulled out two Pokeballs from her dress. "Go Pokeball!" She threw out two Pokeballs as Dartrix and Dragonair popped out.

"Hmm...We are gonna have a hard time with these Pokemon, Dartrix, Dragonair. Play it careful, but hard." She said as both of her Pokemon took a ready pose. She then looked at Geoff as she smiled warmly. "You might regret that sir. Get ready. Extreme Speed on Ferroseed Dragonair. Leaf Blade on Mawhile Dartrix!" Both Pokemon sprinted off to their opponents but Dragonair was a bit faster as it was using Extreme Speed.

Down in the battlefield room Sub awaited the Hanabi siblings, his faithful Bisharp, Allen, taking by his side, ever vigilante. He wasn't sure if he was using Allen in this battle just yet but he decided not to rain on the Bisharp's parade just yet, it had been awhile since he's used him in battle so the Pokemon was probably itching to flex its muscles. Darkrai knows these days he doesn't get to rough that many people up during his day job as Sub's personal bodyguard.

"Simple, my friends. It'll be a double battle, me versus the two of you. Each of you use one Pokemon and I'll use two. Also, you'll both be in for a treat." He told them with a smile as he waved Allan towards the battlefield, the Bisharp snapping back to focus quickly as he stood up straight and saluted his trainer before marching onto the battlefield. There he would remain at attention as he stared down the newly evolved Roserade, awaiting further orders.

"You'll both get to face two thirds of the Macabre Trio. It's a shame you won't be able to see all three at once but alas I think at least two should entertain you." The Dark One explained before taking out a Dusk Ball and tossing it onto the field.

"Doom!" Barked Edgar as he appeared from the swirling vortex of darkness the Dusk Ball created upon opening. The Houndoom would sulk up to Allan's side, snarling at the opposing Pokemon as it prepared its self mentally for battle. The canine and soldier Pokemon would both share a brief, knowing glance before fixing their sight back on their foes, their gaze filled with intent to claim victory at all costs.

"Edgar here I'm kind of proud of. He's a fourth generation Houndoom bred by yours truly from my first Houndoom. See the size of those horns? Menacing, huh? His great grand daddy helped me take down and capture a Registeel. Though he himself as proven his prowess as well, winning me several badges. And Allan? Well he was the king of his pieces in a forest back in Unova called Checkmate Woods. Only Pawniard and Bisharp live in those woods, and you know why? Because they slaughter anything else that dares enter. And oh boy did Allan and his knights try to make me another casualty. What I'm trying to say is these two? Well, I hate to be on the receiving end of what they dish out." Sub said, as if trying to get into the heads of his opponents. He was the Dark One, after all.

"Hey, look at that, Mega Evolution. I mean. myself like to bust out Poe and put on a Mega level light show myself but I guess this time I'll pull a Blizz and teach ya that Mega Evolution is just a crutch. Or something along those lines, I some times zone out when he talks." Sub admitted, shrugging.

"Any who, if you won't come at us then we'll come at you. Edgar, use Role Play and copy Mega Lucario. Allan, Taunt them." The Snagem leader ordered.

While growling at Mega Lucario, Edgar's eyes would give off a faint pink glow as it analyzed the Mega Pokemon's ability, copying it to perfection and replacing its own with it for the remainder of this battle, the dog feeling its Dark and Fire energies swelling. Allan on the other hand extended one hand and made a 'come at me' gesture towards them, saying something in Pokespeech that amounted to asking if they feared him, that Roserade's flower would make a nice trophy. The gesture and speech was all for show though as the Dark energy bearing down on them was the real move, the Taunt compelling them to attack directly rather than use status moves from the time being.

Try as Edgar might to dodge the swipes of Metal Claw the Mega Lucario proved too quick and fierce to completely avoid, several of the blows landing, Edgar grunting with each hit. Fortunately for the hound its Fire typing gave it a natural resistance to the Steel energies behind the attack, though that wasn't to say the blunt force didn't hurt enough, Edgar at times struggling to keep its withdrawing pace.

Allan was doing similarly well, perhaps better as it instead just stood there as the Magical Leaf sent sharpened leaves cutting up against its metallic body. While it made a few scratches in its Steel body its typing also gave a resistance to its foe, and furthermore Roserade didn't have Adaptability like Mega Lucario to give its same-type moves extra power.

"Heh, that all you two got? Looks like professor Sub needs to teach you both a thing or two." The man said with a grin. "Edgar, keep Mega Lucario still and give it a nice warm embrace, use Fire Spin! And as for you Allan, time to trim that bush, Psycho Cut on Roserade!" The Dark One gave them their orders.

Finally finding a moment to strike, Edgar would leap far back and after a deep breath would unleash a fierce stream of flames from its mouth, empowered by the Adaptability ability copied off of Mega Lucario. The stream of flames would spin around and consume its Mega Evolved foe in a searing vortex of fire, hopefully to keep it in one place for awhile.

Allan would finally move with this new command, the Bisharp kicking off the ground and lunging at Roserade without warning, both blades on its forearms glowing with extended blades of pink Psychic energies. Once near Allan would use some fancy foot work to slash at the Roserade from all sorts of angles, spinning around on its heels to strike at new points.

"Allan, Protect!" Sub ordered, the Bisharp quickly throwing his arms up as if to shield, a bubble of green energy growing outward from its crossed arms, the energy bubble surrounding him just in time to protect him from the Aura Sphere as it slammed into the shield and exploded, the impact of the blow sending Allan sliding backwards as the Bisharp attempted to dig its heels in but alas the Bisharp tripped over and fell on its back.

While Allan was occupied the Dark One turned his attention to his free Pokemon, Edgar. "Let's see how much those leaves protect you, use Heat Wave, Edgar!" The man ordered.

With a bark and then a deep breath the Houndoom would unleash a stream of fire at the ground in front of it. The flames would lick the ground and sweep off, sending a searing hot gust of wind at both Mega Lucario and Roserade, threatening to seer them both.
