Personality: Zaicate is a carbon copy of her mother Obsydian, a very temperamental mare that won't tolerate any sign of weakness and will go head to head with kalonas without any fear in her heart. Her tongue is just as sharp as a kalona's claws or spikes and have the same effect as a kalona striking a soquili and she is not afraid to use it against anyone. With a jaded view of the world, this mare carries herself with predatory grace and absolute silence so nobody would have known she was there despite the fact that she's partial deaf due to a childhood injury.
Everyone wouldn't have known that Zaicate is partial deaf because she conducts herself like she would if she still had her full hearing capacity. She have a slight speech impairment because of her hearing problem but that doesn't stop her and her family finds it endearing. This mare is born a fighter and she strongly believes in a strength of soquilis so she tested her mate's before they finally tied knot together just like the females before her and after her.
