[PRP] Ghosts [Chel/Shun]

She winced as she let go, mostly because her bruise had been pressed in. She looked down at them and then frowned up at Shun.

"Next time go easier."  

[Blade Kuroda]

Shun glanced down, furrowing his brow for a moment.

"...You know I do not pull my punches."  

[chiickadee]

"Not even fer a lady?" Chel batted her eyelashes for effect.  

[Blade Kuroda]

Shun gave her a flat stare.  

[chiickadee]

Chel gave a disappointed scoff and then said, "I mean, I am a lady. You would know."  

[Blade Kuroda]

"Yes, I am more than aware. I did not intend to strike you. But... if it seems I am having a nightmare, you really should be careful about waking me."  

[chiickadee]

Chel thought on it for a moment. "S'there a good way t'wake you up without uh. That."  

[Blade Kuroda]

"You could leave me be," Shun shrugged.  

[chiickadee]

"Rather just take a punch than let you sit through a nightmare." Bruises healed over time. Emotional and mental trauma did not.

She tried racking her mind for solutions. "Maybe you'll get used t'me eventually."  

[Blade Kuroda]

"Really not a good idea. I have a ******** knife on call at any point. It may not always be a punch coming at you for that," he pointed out.  

[chiickadee]

"Guess I'll just have t'hang out with you a shitton so you get used t'me." Always jokes.  

[Blade Kuroda]

"Are you seriously not worried in the slightest about getting hurt?"  

[chiickadee]

"You really got a thick skull," said the person with the titanium skull. "If I get hurt s'alright. I know you don't mean it." She looked down. "Least I hope you don't later."  

[Blade Kuroda]

"Do you realize how stupid that sounds? 'If I get hurt, it is alright'?" he grumbled.  

[chiickadee]

"Yeah well leave me t'my nightmares is pretty dumb too."
