Okay, so his first attack didn't work out so well - time to use a little elbow grease to get the point across.
Shame his elbows seemed a bit grease-free, today.

With the pest having left her alone, Niylah continued on her way, carefully stepping across ice and snow tundra. Up ahead appeared to be a ship, one that was damaged and she moved cautiously towards it, bow in hand and her fingers twitching nervously, body tense and ready to spring as needed.
Upon arriving, she took note of something peculiar, vines wrapping around the ship that seemed too bright for something among the frozen. With a shake of her head, she was backing away immediately, only to have a vine wrap around her ankle and knock her off her feet. For one moment she blacked out and when she came too, she was scrambling back to her feet and away.

Pulling out his bow, he aimed and...struck out. Again.
Clearly the Arctic was not doing him any favors.

He was more out of breath than he cared to admit, but Qui was not willing to give up, not this early in the game. He needed to prove his worth to his clan - or else!

Quilong was miserable. The bathroom stunk, the humans weren't as easy of a prey as he'd imagined them to be and worst of all, he could feel the wretched stink from the lavatory clinging to his robes, which felt twenty-times heavier on him than they did when he'd first entered.
Noble Qui, stuck fighting in the bathroom.
What a way to go.

Finding herself lost within the flurry of falling snow and cruel wind leaving her more chilled than she would have liked. Her shawl barely served to bring any sort of protection to her from the cold seeping into her skin. Perhaps that pony had been correct.
Never the less, she persisted forward only to find herself at the shipwreck once more. This time she didn't hesitate to run and she was no better off than before.

As she trudged back, vaguely making out the portal where she had left it, Niylah thought to weigh her options. So far, this venture had proved fruitless and perhaps it was time to look elsewhere.
But wait!
Up ahead there was something with much skin and didn't look like an animal. Ah-ha! She found a human!

Notching an arrow, she released it, squarely hitting her target in it's...blubber? There was a whine that didn't seem human and upon getting closer, Niylah realized that it was not, in fact, a human but some sort of tusked creature.
Well, she came this far, she'd at least bring this back because the parts could be likely harvested for something

To victors go the spoils, but today Qui is not a victor. He trudges out of the lavatory human-less and weak, not to mention the grin he'd come in wearing now turned completely upside down.
Meh.
He wanders outside of some random Hunter-like base and comes across a dead cell phone. He stares at it gloomily.

The sulking Conquest Horseman proceeds to kick the second one into a nearby snow pile.

The creature began thrashing and despite careful aim from Niylah's bow she only managed to knick the thing. Darn.

Her next one missed completely to her frustration. The thing was almost dead, how could she miss?!
Her careful mask of composure threatened to crumble.

The wind interfered and the poor visibility meant another lost arrow.
Niylah's eyes flashed with irritation and she tried to remind herself that she was better than this.

Perhaps her arm shook with the anger that was boiling inside of her. Something like this should have been easy and was proving to be anything but as she missed once again.
