Dante Dolly: 76%

Melissa: 8
• Dante has really grown close to these beautiful pixels that make up
Melissa, who steals the light as she finishes up the Catwalk show. Just by
the way Dante speaks, it is clear that the model's pale features and soft
look inspired her designer. They really made a badass team throughout
the competition as they bulldozed through the challenges, picking up the
most wins this cycle. Dante understands what works with his model and
this last look isn't any different.

Ethereal as always, the flowiness of the gown looks at home on its
canvas. Using whites and blues was an obvious choice here as the cool
tones look good on Melissa. There are two things that I truly love about
this submission. First, giving Melissa her own background was essential
and I'd hoped that Dante would do just this. She's a cut above the rest
and should be placed on a pedestal of sorts. The second piece of genius
was equipping Melissa with a 'real' animal. That was clever, creative and
once again, set this top model apart from the rest.

If the score were based on looking at pieces one at a time, I could have
given this a 10, but sadly, the overall image looks a bit cluttered.
Dante expressed that there were nine pieces used to make up the gown
alone and that's exactly what it looks like. There are so many chunks
laced together that it doesn't look put together, especially up around
Melissa's head. Also, not sure if it's a Gaia glitch, a layering issue or the
way it's supposed to look, but the missing thighs are dragging my
attention away from the positives.

Wanda: 7.5
• I am so very sure that Dante went over previous feedback that the
judges had given designers in the past and this is proof. Wanda's win with
the golden colour scheme and our suggestions that Wanda be presented
in deeper reds is executed here! However, I'm sure there were
different glasses that could have been used.

Ella: 7
• This is adorable, from the beautifully matched colour scheme to the
pattern on the skirt. Dante embraced the cuteness of Ella and gave
us something that wasn't just cute, but fun as well.

Chloe: 6.5
• Not a fan of Chloe's look. She looks quite chunky. I do appreciate
Dante's description of the design, and honestly, the garment fits every
word written, but I can't think this is appealing.

Amaya: 6.5
• Oh, it's been some time since we've seen Amaya. I appreciate that
Dante kept Amaya on the simple side as her features are quite striking
with the bold indigo colour, which match the background perfectly, I might add!
I'm not quite sure if it's Amaya's style per se, but the outfit could really
pop with a different model.

Description: 10
• I absolutely adore the items in which Dante used to blend her
theme together. Using the same background in various colours and
presenting them in a pattern was a brilliant technique. Additionally,
using textured prints to appear animalistic and finding a plushie to add into
each design was very clever. Each of the five models looks as though
they belong there in the same fashion line.

Dante speaks eloquently as she describes her journey, the models and
her chosen theme. There's passion in what was written and it carries
through clearly. I was also very happy to hear that Dante had gone over
the previous feedback and incorporated the judges suggestions into their
look. I had guessed as much because Dante gave us exactly what we
had asked for from the model's previous designers. To me, that says:
'Going the extra mile'.

elphiethesane: 77%

Helen: 6.5
• Helen's outfit debut marks the official ending of all submissions for Project
Catwalk Cycle 1. In the Auditions, Helen tied with three others for the title of
'Least Popular Model' - a title that Elphie helped prove was so very wrong.
Even though they had not been paired initially, this duo has given us
outstanding submissions challenge after challenge. It just goes to show that
good designer skills are transferable, no matter what your canvas looks like.

The description marks Helen as the 'leader', which couldn't be more true,
considering how she was perceived in Auditions and how far she's come.
Adding in the 'circlet' and the larger weapon was a very good idea as it does
set her apart a bit from the others. It also looks as though the bow or ribbon on
her backside is a different colour as well and whether intentional or not, it
makes a difference.

However, I feel like Elphie may have rushed Helen down the Catwalk. It's by
no means a bad look, but I feel as though Helen is being upstaged by every
other model on the Catwalk - especially the brilliantly designed Nicki. First, I
should have liked to see a tiara rather than a circlet, so that Helen's strong but
soft 'leader-like' features wouldn't be infringed upon. And although many
shades of green do look lovely on this model, the shade chosen was much too
dark for my liking.

Nicki: 9.5
• Nicki has always been one of my favourite models because she literally
looks good in every colour under the sun and this is so different. The
darker reds and burgundy, paired with the soft black preview excellent on
this model. The style is so perfect, I can't even describe it. My one tiny
nitpick would be the glasses, which I feel could be switched up.

Danielle: 7.5
• This is well put together and Danielle looks as lovely as ever. The skirt
is cute and falls at a good place on the model and the jacket is hot,
framing everything underneath very well. Overall, this is a strong
submission, despite the colour matching with the bow. However, the
look doesn't wow me. It doesn't shock me. It doesn't amaze me. It's just
too safe and there's nothing too memorable about it besides the gun.

Mariah: 7.5
• Those boots are cute and they stand in line with the other girls perfectly.
I also really love how Elphie decided to put her in the purple theme to
match Mariah's eyes. Also, as I am a lover of magic, I was truly hoping I'd
get to see a wand in the mix. Matching it with the gold motif was a smart idea.
Issues come up around the chest area, where things get a little bit muddled.
I feel like there are a few equippables hiding there that I just can't discern
from each other.

Clara: 7
• This look says 'butter face' to me. Everything about this design is rocking,
but her face. The orange is great on Clara and those tights she's wearing
are inspiring me to go shopping. But her face is so jubilant that it cheapens
the look as a whole. If there's a model who needs a pair of shades, it's Clara.
Perhaps she should have been equipped with the computerized visor
and Nicki should have been given the bat.

Description: 8
• The theme of this clothing line is absolutely killer and I adore it with
every fiber of my being. The idea behind it tickles my soul, while the execution
fills me with a desire to see more, most especially after I had seen Nicki. It is
also very clear by the common items used that this is a part of a clothing line.
Having hair ribbons, back ribbons and a weapon collected the looks together
quite nicely.

I do wish Elphie had elaborated a bit more in the description. I wanted to know
a little bit about the feelings she had toward the theme she chose and a bit
about her PC 1 journey. The latter was something I had looked forward to
reading because Elphie had an experience that none of the other designers
had - a change of model. As the only person who made that choice this cycle,
I was a bit disappointed that it wasn't touched on. But as I mentioned with her
final submission, it felt as though it was rushed and therefore couldn't get full
attention. If that's the case, I can only commend Elphie for submitting anything
at all. Juggling life and this competition isn't always easy and it takes a stand-
up person to manage it - someone like Elphie.

Alesaan: 78%

Sarah: 8
• Sarah reeks of femininity here as she closes the Catwalk show. It
was unfortunate that I had to dock a mark for the use of hair extensions, but
at the same time, I cannot fault Alesaan for doing it. This was the one time
she could go crazy without fear of elimination and her last chance to do so.
What she presented to us is as beautiful as I've ever seen Sarah.
That's Alesaan though - keeping us guessing all the way until the end!

The colour scheme (which I'm blanking on the name of atm) is one that I
am personally a huge fan of, so I was excited to see it realized here.
More than that though, is that it suits Sarah perfectly. The grungier look of
the woodland colours are what I've always believed Sarah looked best in,
but the burgundy colours fit this newer, more feminine side of Sarah as well.
It's like bridging the gap between two sides of herself, though I've no
doubt that I am overthinking it.

My one small nitpick is that I wish that Alesaan had used different colours
for the hair piece. I'm so in love with the colour scheme that I wish it had
been extended to the flowers. But even unmatched, the orange/peach
colour doesn't look horrible, but it couldn't have hurt her to put a pinch
of orange at the bottom of the outfit ... yet at the same time, taking up
precious space to place orange over the main colour scheme would be
a shame.

Sheenah: 7.5
• Here is another finalist who I am sure looked back into previous
feedback posts and gave our models what they were lacking beforehand.
This look is reminiscent of Sheenah's win with the punk/rock style we loved
so much. I love that Alesaan embraced Sheenah's glaring ginger hair for
the Catwalk, something we'd been dying to see more of.

Chantal: 7
• Green is always a stellar colour on redheads and that's no different
for Chantal. However, this model poses significant difficulty staying as
stylish as the other models, largely due to those pale lips that contrast
most colour schemes that go with her hair and eyes. That being said,
Alesaan didn't do too bad of a job here by using shades, one bold colour
and a splash of a secondary colour. The white on the capris isn't
matched anywhere else, but for some reason, I really don't mind it. I find
it captivating even ...

Madeline: 9
• This look on Madeline is simply stunning!! This cute model has
been successfully converted into a sexy succubus! The amount of skin
shown on her legs and arms is perfect for what Alesaan wanted to
communicate. The only nitpicks I have are the gold bangles' she mentions
that are hardly enough to balance the yellow and the blank of the
bustle blends in with her hair a bit - small issues in an overall perfect piece.

Lisa: 6.5
• Lisa was the first model eliminated and as the designer didn't submit
an entry, there was no previous feedback for Alesaan to scoop info from.
Whether that made a difference or not, I'm not really feeling this look as
much as the others in the line. The first two models to showcase their
designs were strong, using the blacks to make this sexy, punk/rock
beachwear vibe. This is a little out of left field. Were she to have incorporated
a significant black motif or used the baby blue hue of the dress in the
other looks, I would have liked this look much better.

Description: 9
• First thing, I must say that I love the way Alesaan presented her line. I
swear it was like there was an official announcer in my head reading it to me.
However, having a theme so 'broad' isn't really a good thing. I don't
exactly mind the theme she chose, but I do think it could have used
some narrowing down to specific activities on the town. When the
theme covers hundreds of situations, lifestyles and activities, you need
more than a matching background to connect the looks. With Alesaan's
first two entries, I had assumed that the black shade would be a recurring
theme only to be thrown off when Lisa was showcased. However, after
seeing the final entry, I can't help but feel more open-minded.

Alesaan and Sarah could be the worst or best pairing in the entire competition.
Just as we have two sides to Sarah's looks, I feel as though we have two
sides to Alesaan's personality and tastes. Sarah always had a different look
because it's not in Alesaan's nature to be stale. When Alesaan's day was
ordinary, Sarah looked ordinary. When Alesaan was inspired, Sarah looked
inspired. And I swear when Alesaan got some lovin' from her partner, Sarah
showed up looking good enough to eat! Alesaan is a girl who designs
from the heart!

Dante Dolly: 68%

Melissa: 6.5
We've come a very long way from the beginning of the competition. Melissa and Dante Dolly have been sitting pretty near the top of the pack for a long while, and have only had a few bumps in the road. They truly come across as a dynamic duo, and their synergy shows in Dante's designs for her. With that said... this design, while it's beautifully color balanced, it's hard to tell where the clothes end and Melissa begins. It looks bulky on her, like she's got too many layers on, and especially compared to the simple, striking designs of her fellow models, looks much too overdone and out of place. Everyone else has their cute plush companions and are looking cute and stylish and ready to walk out on the street, but here comes Melissa, trailing behind the pack with her giant deer and waddling in her massive dress. It's a minor nitpick also, but why does she also use the same color scheme as Chloe? Even so, with all of this said, the outfit is lovely, and it matches well with itself - it just belongs in a different theme.

Wanda: 8
• Pros: LOVE the use of the janelle legs. it feels like wanda came out onto the catwalk, plonked her panda down, and just sat on it and dared anyone to say anything. she's sweet, but she's also here to rule
• Cons: in theory the leopard print jacket matches but in practice it's kinda bugging me that there was not a leopard used and instead it was a panda. for a second i thought she had 2 sets of glasses on but no, it was just the ears

Ella: 7
• Pros: it's a cute, simple look on ella and i like it on her a lot. matches well with itself and t evokes a cute schoolgirl at a zoo look
• Cons: i'm like trying really hard not to fault the giraffe plush but it looks so doofy and just doesn't match at all. wish that ella's plush were attached to her like the other models

Chloe: 6
I don't like this color scheme being used twice in Dante's submission. The penguins are really cute and i like the regal snowy look, but it could have been leaned more into with a military cap - as it is, her head looks a little bare. If you were just going for a winter look, a soft beanie with a pompom on the end would have worked. There's lots more stuffy companions and color combos you could have used for Chloe to evoke the feeling of winter. The powder blue kind of doesn't speak to me on her.

Amaya: 7.5
By far, Amaya was my favorite model of this competition, and seeing her again warms my heart. Her dark, elegant nature doesn't typically allow for bright and casual looks like this, but it works here. Despite her expression making it look like she's scheming, with the pose she's in and her soft, fluffy friend, she almost looks like she's looking at the camera and daring anyone to challenge her sense of style. Amaya's here to make a statement, and she won't let anyone get in her way. I would actually have liked to see the Defect Progeny sunhat on her, though...

Description: 6
•: It did help me figure out what was going on, but I would not have read 'four seasons' at all just by looking at the models. When I think four seasons, I think lighter pastel blues and pinks and greens for spring, and that's the color I'm really missing here, a nice green or at the very least a more Easter-y theme, something that gives me a sense of spectrum and cohesiveness. Chloe and Melissa are in too similar of colors and Dante could have made Melissa nature herself to tie the theme solidly together. The background given to Melissa does make her stand out, but not really in a good way. She just kind of looks like she's in a hallway with a stag. The description ultimately made me find more flaws with the designs, so that's not great.

elphiethesane: 69%

Helen: 8
helen 100% looks the part of the leader with her tiara and big bow and gold accents - even her weapon makes her look like she's running the joint. i like that she's not wearing the same vest as everyone else and it lets her get away with a lot more in terms of her outfit. the only thing i would change would be the legs, but i just personally don't like the death speaker legs. the gold bow at her back when everyone just has a sheer dark one is a really nice touch

Nicki: 7.5
• Pros: nicki looks fantastic in these deep rich reds and golds and her ripped up stockings, like she was made for this role. the outfit is tight and nothing looks out of place - even the headband doesn't seem superfluous
• Cons: don't like that she doesn't have an actual weapon - could have put a sword or something on her back or on a belt. even mercury had a weapon - just because it was a harp doesn't make it any less valid

Danielle: 8
• Pros: i like that she's the only one in an action stance. danielle is here to party and she's not messing around. she looks great in the dark blues! i've actually not seen many magical girls with straight up guns before and i like them a lot in combination with danielle's expression.

Mariah: 6
that's not a staff, that's a key. you could have gotten any number of actual staves but you picked a key. she's not pluto, you have resources other than this. a bit disappointed you couldn't find a purple bow or headband for her, the one she's got on doesn't really match and it's bugging me

Clara: 7
• Pros: LOVE the punish you arms. the bow is really cute and good on her, and the color suits her well. clara is here to fight, and she looks dangerous. however her pose is pretty inert and i'm not sure how i feel about it

Description: 5
• Pros: i LOVE this theme, magical girls are such a soft spot of mine and elphie is really trying to get me on her side here. i love all the darker and nontraditional colors on the girls and the fact that the punk element was leaned into more than just the magical girl element. everything comes together well and they all look like part of the same team even though their designs are unique, which is really important
• Cons: i mean... it's a description. it's not a great one. the descriptions are threadbare and blunt and it's not really a fun or particularly illuminating read. while i love all the designs and think they're fantastic, compared to their peers they seem a little lacking, possibly due to lack of background

Alesaan: 71%

Sarah: 8
ok so yes maybe alesaan did put makeup and hair extensions on sarah but they work and they enhance the look incredibly well and i don't want to dock points for it because she looks like a mirage beckoning me into the desert. the only thing i would change is perhaps the color scheme itself, but that's honestly just me not personally liking that scheme so i'm not gonna dock points for it because imo the color choices make sense and don't detract from the unit as a whole at all. the bright flowers give a striking pop of color and i would have liked to see that called back on the outfit somewhere, perhaps on a necklace or a belt

Sheenah: 5
Okay, so here's the thing: you can keep the sunglasses, OR you can keep the independence blue swimsuit. With Sheenah you cannot have both, there are already too many conflicting colors on her. The fishnets are okay, they can stay, but this doesn't match with itself and the shoes are too small to pretend that it calls back to the sunglasses. They're not even the same pink. Lean into a pink look or lean into a blue look, don't try to mash things together that don't match and call it color variety. I would really liked to have seen Sheenah in a brighter color or even white, to evoke a classic movie star look.

Chantal: 9
Chantal, you're killing me. This is so good on her, it's stunning and carefree and casual while still evoking a high-class feel. The deep greens complement her crimson hair and despite the dark colors it's still sunny and bright - with the sunflowers and white pants, she looks like she's ready to walk right out of her villa and strut down to the city. I can't even really find anything bad to say about it.

Madeline: 6
i don't like the pink lemonade hat. i can see where you tried to call back to the yellow in it but it's not really doing it for me. with that being said i do like the outfit as a whole, i just would have chosen a different hat and maybe taken off those weird ruffly black parts, they blend in too much with her hair

Lisa: 7
i actually really do like this dress, there's a lot of skirt/dress layering going on here and i see a lot of creativity here. really really like the orange callbacks on the dress and on her shoulder. reminds me of a clownfish. it's cute, but compared to the other looks, even reading the description, it's a little out of place. the dark line at her waist is bugging me

Description: 8
There's a lot of different scores and looks here, but looking at them all as a unit, with the exception of Lisa, they look cohesive and tight and carry a sense of consistency. The descriptions of what each model is up to at the resort are illuminating and fun to read, and give each of them a little bit of personality. It's very easy to tell how much Alesaan has gotten attached to her model and it's lovely to see - Sarah's come a long way from the very beginnings of the competition to become a breakout star, and Alesaan has been charging ahead with her every step of the way.

This was an extremely close race for me, but Alesaan's my vote for the winner.

          Dante Dolly ★ 82%

          ★ Melissa 9
I loved this look the moment I saw it. And then I almost hated it because it didn't match the rest of the fashion line, and didn't make sense. Then I read the description and got more of where Dante was going with it. I still think it looks more like it's from a couture/avant garde line where the rest of the collection is more ready to wear, which definitely cost it some credit. The phantom thighs are also a bit of a weird thing. But it's so lovely over all, none of these facts really upset me.

          ★ Wanda 7.5
I am so impressed with Dante for reading through the feedback for her models from the past, and incorporating it. Wanda sings in these colors. The glasses chosen are killing me though, they're all wrong, and I don't think I like the glasses and the head band. Something about having both looks weird to me.

          ★ Ella 8
I love this look. It's so cute, and I love that she matched the patterns. Love that she used giraffe in general, I feel like there aren't many giraffe options so I like that she went for it. I think I would have liked some more yellow to match the giraffe though.

          ★ Chloe 7.5
The colors are great on Chloe, and they are matched so well together from the outfit to the penguins. Technically wonderful design. Good way to open things up. The look fits the description perfectly. But. I don't like the proportions and having the top look cluttered.

          ★ Amaya 7
Amaya looks good when she's simple like this, just letting her looks speak for themselves a bit. Things pair well and the description is good. It's just a little...blah. Not super blah, or horrible, just...nothing special. And at this point everything should have something special.

          ★ Description 10
I absolutely love this fashion line. I love the theme and how it's been executed, that it covers different seasons and all different kinds of animal plushies. I love the background incorporation and the pattern of it, makes it feel like a real runway show. Melissa was definitely the final piece of a fashion show, even if I'm not sure she's really in this show, but I do think the description sold me on things more than I expected. Wonderful. Dante has been strong through out the competition, and this line was no different.

          elphiethesane ★ 76%

          ★ Helen 6.5
I'm not sure she needs the hair bow and the circlet. I understand why they're both there, and the bow definitely ties in to everyone else, I just don't think they're both needed. I think Helen would fit in even without it. I also think the front bow is a little muddled, and I'm not sure if it's because of the layering that went into the box and the dress or if it's more to do with it being behind the staff, but there's something weird about it. I adore these colors on Helen though and the pairing of that green with gold. It's amazing. After waiting for this finale look though...I dunno. I look towards Nicki and Danielle as the stand out looks I'll remember. The leader shouldn't disappear.

          ★ Nicki 8.5
Nicki is one bad a** babe. I love her as the computer hacker sort in the gang, even love the glasses, but I do think the idea could have been better on one of the other girls. I love this rich red on Nicki, but I think she could have rocked the orange and the baseball bat just as well. She has more of the attitude of the sporty member, even if Clara has the hair. Ended up bringing the score down a little. I also don't love the wispy back bow used to tie the looks together, I don't think it's needed to connect them all, and it seems especially off with this look. I want the leg mod/items though.

          ★ Danielle 7.5
The description said she wanted to make Danielle as different from Helen as possible, really set her off as the second in command kind of thing, and in some ways it definitely works. Danielle is more gritty with the guns while Helen is more magical with the staff. But over all? Not that opposite. The gold on the foot is a little weird too? All of that said though, I love Danielle's look. She's gonna have fun taking care of bad guys.

          ★ Mariah 7
I want the boots/legs off this look too. Mariah looks amazing in this purple, and being the soft magical healer in the group really suits her well. Gold of course pairs well with purple since they are complimentary, and while I normally loathe the combination due to the over abundance my high school had of the colors in the name of school spirit, I don't hate it at all here. I love it. But there's just something that's a little off around the center. I don't know if it's too many items that blend together or if it's the back ruffle throwing things off a little here too, but just would have liked something more.

          ★ Clara 7
The bow definitely fits the hair and helps sell it as a big pony tail, and in that sense the vision elphie had is achieved. But Clara is so happy, I just don't...believe her to be the bat wielder. She'd be better with the computerized glasses to help hide her sweet face and toughen her up a little, or even with Mariah's look and little scepter to sweetly hide behind. Something.

          ★ Description 9
The description wasn't as skimpy on details regarding the rest of the competition as Alesaan's was, but it didn't give me as many of the details that I wanted like Dante's did, leaving it right in the middle score wise. I loved the concept though, and I was absolutely on board with the leather and lace magical girl gang. I get where she was going with each look and each description, even if some of them didn't succeed as much as I would have liked. This is a wonderful end to the cycle though, and to her own journey. I do wish that the collection had just been...turned up a notch? Alesaan took risks with Sarah, and did something different as a whole. Dante was bold and had her finale piece with a live animal instead of another plush. I'm not saying those moves paid off entirely for me, but they did something extra for the finale. I don't know if this collection feels extra.

          Alesaan ★ 75%

          ★ Sarah 7
I'm glad she knew she'd be docked points for the hair and the make up, because it definitely cost her points from me, but a part of me is also glad that she just went for it at this point. The flowers don't really match, but I don't hate them. The pony tail extension isn't the same brown as her hair which is almost more of a problem for me than her actually using it. I really wish we could have seen the tattoos, but I probably wouldn't have had them visible either, because they are very limiting. I'm not sure I like the middle section/olive green over skirt...but I don't dislike it necessarily.

          ★ Sheenah 8
Sheenah can be a hard model to design for, but when she looks good, damn does she look good. The rest of the collection that followed really only made her look stronger which increased her score. I want to go hang out beside the pool with her.

          ★ Chantal 7
The description helped this look. I didn't get where she was going with this look necessarily before reading it. The way I like Madeline's hat kind of standing out, I like the white pants kind of standing out here. I like that it's a dynamic pose too, we're seeing Chantal running to catch a ride or meet up with friends, holding her hat so as not to lose it. But there's nothing..remarkable about it either.

          ★ Madeline 10
This might be my favourite submission across all the lines, even if it is pretty simple. It is perfect on Madeline, and perfect for the theme. I love the hat and that the yellow and pink of it don't really match to anything else, but they don't clash either or stand out like some atrocity. I just love it.

          ★ Lisa 5
...I don't really like it. Her score lowered as the rest of the line was posted because she just looked more and more out of place. I don't hate the color on Lisa, honestly it's fine. Maybe even a good color on her. If she was making some kind of Southern Belle line, I would have scored it higher because this feels like a modern southern belle or southern debutante. But this look simply has nothing to do with anyone else as far as the actual outfit or the colors. Which is a problem for a fashion line where every other piece feels connected.

          ★ Description 8
The description was solid, thought it was missing some of the elements it was supposed to include. Over all the description just wasn't near as strong as Dante's, which was part of what lowered the score. Over all I think the line accomplishes the goal it set for itself: vacay in Palm Springs. Lisa is the one outlier for me, but everyone else makes sense together as a line. Definitely a very solid note for Alesaan to finish the competition on!

So it looks like based on the numbers and percents, Dante and Alesaan are tied and Elphie is close behind.

I think Elphie should be our third place winner.

I think Dante should take home the grand prize, and based on the score ahead of percents she did technically come ahead. But it's the difference between 75% total and 74.66666666666666666666666666667%. So I can really see it going either way for them and who takes first, who takes second.
