Meg nodded to himself as Monique revealed her physical self, noting the protective suit she wore. That explained one thing at least. Then listening to Monique and Crystal mention the possibility of Ultra Space travelers becoming transformed into hybrids the man perked up, sitting up straight a little more. "That actually pairs well with our own theories about Ultra Space thus far, that it's possible for someone to become altered by the realities they enter in order to survive in said realities. Professor Burnet explained it along the lines that Ultra Space tries really hard to keep itself consistent and in equilibrium, doesn't care too much for change." Meg stated.
"I have an idea." Meg simply stated, taking out his SNAG and tapping on it for a few moments before setting it back down. "I'm calling another member down to help us, give them a moment." He informed the two.

An elevator in Snagem’s Goldenrod HQ opened and one Mitsuki Morita stepped out. She was blonde with a ponytail keeping her hair behind her, looked younger than most of the other members Monique and Crystal would have seen so far, and she had an Elekid resting on her shoulder. The electric type Pokemon did not do wonders for the health of her hair, making the ends stand up, but she made do to make her partner happy. She looked like she was wearing some modified and well worn clothing from Uva Academy, with rolled up sleeves and lacking the normal tie they made students wear. “Sup Meg, we got somethin’ to do finally?” she asked, a bit too eager to finally get to work. Paldea had been a **** and a half to escape and the sixteen year old wanted to see some action after missing so much.
Though, Mitsuki hadn’t yet been totally caught up on Ultra Space and the shenanigans that that phenomenon brought with it. The trainer crossed her arms and examined the suited up strangers. “You uh,” the teenager had to stifle a snort at seeing the strange looking suit. “, you both dress up like that often or…?” She asked them. Her eyes looked to Meg for any kind of explanation.

Monique's attention diverted as she saw an elevator door open. Unlike Larrie or Sub, this Trainer looked totally unfamiliar to her: a 16-year-old with what looked like a school uniform but a little more casual, an Elekid on her shoulder.
“Sup Meg, we got somethin’ to do finally?” she asked. She then looked at the sight before her... She realized the girl had seen her briefly without her illusion on. "You both dress up like that often or?"
Monique looked at her. "Ma'am, my name is Monique, and I'm on a mission from another reality to rescue my sister." She wondered what use the Elekid could be, but any Snagem could be useful in this effort. "This reality is...contrary to my body, so I need to protect myself. What's your name?"
Meg might have noticed that the presence of another woman seemed to loosen Monique up a little bit.

Mitsuki stifled a snort at being called ma'am, as though she was in any serious trouble with the Zoroark hybrid. Though, knowing that Meg wouldn't send her on a wild goose chase (Well. They would, but bless their heart Meg was a bit more obvious about trickery when it was harmless), the teenager took Monique's explanation of what she was doing here at face value. She had studied Ultra Wormholes and similar phenomenon enough to know things like that were very real. Nodding along, she replied with "Name's Mitsuki Morita. Think your sister might be with this universe's version of you?" If she was a universe hopping raggamuffin like the hybrid's sister, she'd likely seek out any kind of familiarity. So. In the sister's shoes, Mitsuki would probably look for another universe's version of Meg or Stilettos in lieu of any blood family. Maybe the sister decided something similar?
Thankfully, at a second glance, Monique might see that Mitsuki did have a team of six Pokemon to her name and she had the belt with Pokeballs to prove it. Besides Ekkels her Elekid, there was of course Pitch the Venusaur. She named him after her favorite soda flavor- the specialty one that you could only get at Burrito Hall. There were others obviously, but those were the two she typically relied on the most when things got dicey. "And what about you, what's your name?" She asked Monique, having gotten a bit off topic thinking about where her sister might have gone if she had been in her shoes and just popped into another reality all alone. It was a bit hard for Mitsuki to imagine that or what that must have been like. Did she even have a suit to protect herself from anything from this universe that might be a danger?
"Also uh, how did you guys get here? Just fall outta a wormhole on your way home one day?

The Solgaleo hybrid looked Mitsuki over as she entered, raising an eyebrow at the ensemble. A school uniform? Huh. Well, not the first time a kid's joined Snagem. Then she noticed the Pokéballs. A full team, and with a baby Elekid on her shoulder. Maybe not the best show, but then Crystal doubted they'd all be baby or on average weaker fair. Usually, team members had at least one heavy hitter. Crystal would write down this girl's name and appearance in her journal, like everything else she had learned here so far. Then the question came up about falling through a wormhole on the way home came up. "Gomen, however, you're looking at the interdimensional taxi right here." She'd wave her hand to bring Mistuki's attention to her. "Sundaria, and I helped bring her here. Someone else opened the door purposefully for once, though. At least when it came to leaving our reality."

"My name is Monique Ka'ana'ana," I replied, "and my sister is named Kasumi. I also have another sister named Kaimana, but she is not here either." I sighed. "Where I come from was...smoggy, poisoned..." Monique had no idea that to Mitsuki, "smoggy and poison" was a positive trait. "All that made my world livable was a huge dome," Monique explained succinctly. "When it fell apart, my sisters and I were scattered in Ultra Space. I joined my reality's Snagem, Kasumi came here, and I don't know where Kaimana is. Now that I'm here..." She took a breath. "We drink water in our world, and here you just drink ammonia and venom like it's nothing? This world could kill her!" That thought again made her wonder how much longer she was going to be here before they could finally start hunting for and rescuing Kasumi. This version of Snagem seemed nice. But what if the suit failed? Her body wasn't made for this.

Meg watched Mitsuki enter and converse with Sundaria and Monique, the man becoming lost in thought as the sounds of their conversation faded away for him. This unhappy meeting presented an opportunity to their world, to Snagem, to Meg himself. Snapping back to reality Meg turned to face and speak to Sundaria. "Hey, Sundaria, what is the name of your...me...the version of me in your home reality? His real name, because if he's anything like me he has several. Do you know it?" He asked, a strange question to suddenly ask. If and when he got his answer Meg would go quiet for a while longer, no doubt almost instigating someone to speak up but alas Meg would finally talk before that was necessary.
"So, this is my idea for finding your sister." He said, quickly changing the topic back to the more important matter at hand. "She is a Faller now, like you, and all Fallers give off the same energy as Ultra Beasts. Now ordinarily while detecting the presence of an Ultra Beast, or Faller, is easy you still first have to narrow down the immediate vicinity, can't scan the entire globe. Fortunately for us we know exactly where the last Ultra Wormhole opened up; here, above Goldenrod City. This will make our job much easier however there is one hiccup. We want to find her as quick as possible but our mobile scanners, with our SNAGs, has a limited range of a few blocks and it could possibly take us way too long to scan the entire city, especially if she is on the move or if she leaves the city, Goldenrod is big. If only Devon Corp. would have cooperated with our plans for a private satellite." The man grumbled."Any who, using SNAGs and people, or Pokemon, to walk around it could turn into a wild goose chase. But if we were able to scan the entire city...no, the entire region, at once..." He grinned, that characteristic 'Sub' grin, a devious one.
"How do we do that you might ask? By hijacking the biggest communications array in Johto, the Goldenrod Radio Tower. "We break into the tower, make our way to the top and modify their equipment to turn the tower into one big Ultra Energy sonar, if you will. If she is anywhere in Johto we should be able to pick up exactly where she is! And any other Fallers, or Arceus forbid any Ultra Beasts, as well. Sure, I don't think the owners of the tower or the Johto goverment would appreciate that but hey, who haven't we pissed off? Right Mitsuki?" He smiled at his teammate. "So, whatcha think?"

Monique listened to Meg with apprehension mixed with the fact that this was her fate.
"I have no better ideas." The sheriff stared at Crystal, who would certainly know more about whether this was a reasonable idea. "I dunno if she would leave Goldenrod, though. I remember when I woke up in my world..." The words might sound a bit odd to Meg, but he could probably work out the opposites in how Monique talked. "I had nothing but the clothes on my back and my Alolan Marowak. Who knows how little she has." It made her a little teary inside the suit.
"But if things went haywire..." She briefly glared at the team leader. She just had to hope her suit didn't fail. Otherwise...she was gonna be forcing ammonia down her body and hoping she didn't die.

Ah! So the cat-hybrid-lady looking person was also an Ultra Wormhole generator? Neat. Like most things in HQ, it was easier to just accept things in stride than to think too hard about it. Mitsuki eyed the Solgaleo and tried to make heads or tails of what she was a hybrid of, but alas. She hadn't taken Alolan Studies or spent a great deal of time in the HQ's library since coming back to the team. "Well anyway Gomen, is there anything causing these random Wormholes?" That felt like something they needed to be worried about. Personally, she liked the reality she was in most of time. It wouldn't do for it to suddenly collapse and wind up in an entirely different one, as imperfect and unfair as it could be.
Though when their leader spoke up, Mitsuki couldn't help rolling her eyes at Meg's question, and the girl listened onto how he was trying to use his real name as a way confirm that the Faller was indeed legit. But... did anyone in Snagem even know Meg's true name? Perhaps some of the older members did, but she remembered trying to get that info out of him a few years ago to no avail. Mitsuki would be surprised if Monique was able to answer that question- and she'd be honestly a bit jealous and impressed. She leaned up against a wall and let the group's leader present some ideas and, to be totally honest, started to tune it all out until the words "private satellite" and "modify equipment" reached her ears. Genuinely perking up at hearing that, any observer would be able to almost see gears turning in the blonde's head as she thought of something. Was it for the intent of helping Monique find her sister? Who could say. Mitsuki certainly wouldn't if asked.
Then: scanning the entire region? Mitsuki was interested in having access to something like that. "I think we should leave something behind for if we get any more Fallers in the future." she suggested. Partly because it'd be actually be helpful, but also so she could have access to the shiny long range scanner. What was the point of being in a team of vigilantes if you didn't occasionally flirt with skirting the law every now and then?
"Kid, Elekid." the baby Pokemon spoke up.
"That's actually a fair question." Mitsuki said to her partner. "Do you have an alternate me and Ekkels there?" she asked, lifting one hand to her cheek coyly.

Crystal stared at Mitsuki, mouth open for a moment before letting out a long sigh. "Considering your name, I would have thought... Nevermind. Gomen's not my name, it's short for gomenasai, being an apology here in Kanto and Johto. At least back where we're from. My name's... Sundaria," she'd comment, ears flicking back in mild annoyance. "You hadn't seemed to be asking me for my name there, so we didn't think to give it there.
"As for the alternate versions of people," she'd divert the subject back, getting over her annoyance of being called 'sorry',"Victor. Though, he goes by Sub currently. You, Miss Mitsuki... Maybe? You do look familiar, but we can't place my finger on it right now. G-Sorry. Maybe after we go through with this... event, maybe you could tell me if you know of anyone named Crystal Tanzanaki? Speaking of the Radio Tower, though, I really can't help but get a bad sense of deja vu from this idea. Are we sure this is going to end well?" She'd snap shut the journal, clipping the pen to one of the covers. "Did Team Rocket ever take over the tower here?

"You probably don't have a version of me, since I'm from a timeline ahead of this one..." She stopped to ponder the thought. "Or do you?" Crystal's question about the Radio Tower caused her to tilt her head. "...Excuse me, but I don't know what that is? I mean, in my mind, 2023 is, like, ancient history, and I dunno a whole lot of history. I had enough to deal with. All I know is that Team Rocket was baaaaad." She crossed her arms, a little worried all of a sudden.

That was a really good question, because if there was another one of these portal creators they could probably collaborate if needed. Was there another Gomen- crap. Was there another Sundaria? Mitsuki thought about it for a moment before Sundaria decided to shift the conversation into the direction of their immediate mission. She was right, they could talk about this when this Faller's sister was safe and sound. "Let's head out then, yeah? No point in dawdling." she said.
Misuki looked at Monique oddly when she said that she was from an alternate future universe. So... not only was multiverse theory a thing but it was actually an asymmetrical multiverse. "Yeah, there was some stuff with Rocket I think but that was back when I was AWOL in another country. Sorry." She said, calling for the elevator to get them. She could sneak them into the Radio Tower easily enough, and then when the kid was safe they'd have to play Multiversal Twenty Questions.

"Team Rocket?" Meg repeated the name with a befuddled tone, it was not a name you hear anymore. "They were disbanded and defeated a long time ago. Did the Cinnabar Disaster and consequential rampage not happen in your world? That...thing...they created sought them out and killed them all before it died itself, something about it being highly unstable. That was...twenty something years ago? Woman, been a long time." Meg mused to himself, realizing how old he was. Thank Arceus for Sinjoh. "Either way, let's get going. Follow me, we have a shortcut to the surface."
-----
[Some time later.]
The group would reappear in the outside world, having taken a hidden elevator up into the department store, exiting through a hidden false wall into the basement and eventually up to the main floor and out the front doors. Finding themselves on the busy streets, now rush hour, the prime universe Snagems would get to see an even better look at the make up of this world. Many hybrids, fewer humans, with most of them being Poison types and a considerable amount of Grass and Fairy types. There were a few other types but those three certainly made up the majority.
Another thing to note is everyone was wearing feminine clothing, not a pair of pants in sight, on men that is. Even the men, which were still noticeable, were very feminine in appearance. Before they left Meg had changed into a skirt, complaining about it the entire time as they made their way to the surface. It would seem he hated the feminine standard of appearance for men, preferring the pants he was wearing back at their headquarters.
Walking along they would notice the men being treated as what would be called 'like ladies' back home by the women, guiding them around, opening doors, all the 'chivalrous' things men were expected to do back home. It wasn't just gender but the power dynamics between genders was flipped here as well.
Besides all of that Goldenrod City, the buildings looking the same, the layout the same, even the sky above was blue. If they didn't know better they were back home. Finding their way to the right street they would spot another familiarity, the Jewel Train. Wait, Jewel Train? Wasn't it Magnet Train? Also on closer inspection the rail was made completely of wood, not metal. How could it stand up to all that wear and tear? The prime Snagems would be greeted with another strange scene as they came up to the Radio Tower; it was made entirely of wood. Something was not right.
"Here it is, the Radio Tower!" Meg beamed as he gestured to the towering wooden structure.

Emerging from headquarters back onto Goldenrod's dark, smoggy streets made Monique's fur crawl under her suit. She wondered how long she could stand this. This place caused her brain to hurt.
Going from her own world to the one of her own Snagems felt like going back in time. Visiting Hisui was also time travel. But this... This was going somewhere totally different.
So many opposites. Everyone seemed dolled up, especially the guys. It almost made her...more comfortable because their clothes reminded her of Flower City a bit. There were a lot of hybrids, and she recognized a few Poison-type Pokémon. The sight of an Arbok hybrid snaking along in a flowing black dress would probably stick with her for the rest of her life. Meg was complaining about wearing a skirt, but given her experience with her own Snagems, this was him attending to blend in and not stick out like a very sore thumb.
The city itself looked much the same, except for all that odd smogginess. Except there were little things that made one question their sanity. The Jewel Train...even Monique knew that was a Magnet Train. There was a Trash Shop. This place is upside-down, Monique thought as they approached a classic landmark in the city: the Radio Tower, a latticework of beams supporting another structure festooned with antennas of seemingly every variety. This one was not metal, though—it was wooden. How was it so strong? Wouldn't the weight crush it? Monique, used to the weakened trees of her homeworld, worried the thing would collapse like a house of cards.
"Here it is, the Radio Tower!" Meg beamed as he gestured to the towering wooden structure.
Monique looked at Meg and gestured. "I'm following your lead... Or is that I'm leading your follow? This place is so-upside down to me..."

Crystal took in what Meg explained about Team Rocket here, which resulted in her assuming whatever version of Mewtwo Giovanni had created just decided to wipe them out then and there, which probably wasn't a bad thing... Until it clicked for her that they were going to be enacting the takeover of Radio Tower here. "...Light."
------
Crystal followed the group around, ears continually tilted to the side in confusion. She shouldn't have been completely surprised to see the differences, but still made her slightly... put off. It put into perspective just how many places she had traveled to where the power dynamic was closer to equal, maybe swinging only slightly towards masculine or feminine. And she would rather be in those realities right now, where people felt more free to wear and act how they wanted. not like she had much room to talk considering how her ensemble was meant to cover up as much of her body as possible... She looked herself over as they continued to walk, her mind preoccupied with her appearance until they got close to where they needed to go, when she came back to this reality. The Jewel train? And why were the tracks made of wood?! Same with the Radio Tower.... There was a small gremlin part of her brain that wanted to send out Demon Wing just to see what would happen when fire hit it, but that got kept in line for the moment. "So... Should I ask how the integrity of metal is overall here?" She wiped her fingers over her arm, expecting to see some sort of oil residue or something on them, but they came back clean. "I know this body is made of Ultra Space dust and metal, but, we'll be honest, in most realities we've visited, they usually use metals instead of wood..."
