Whatever drama was unfolding in the mansion, Shay Evanfall was oblivious to say the least. It was a rare event that tempted the homebody Shay out of his home... and rarer still to see him dressed up in such fancy garb. When Shay went out, he was usually in club gear. Fishnets and short skirts or hot pants were far more common to see. But tonight Shay was wearing a cocktail dress that skimmed the floor. His hair was beautiful done up, half up in a decorous style, and half down, spilling all the way to the floor as well. Tonight, the young vampire was excited to show off his date, and just as eager to be around the Toreador clan.
He wanted to admire the paintings that they would surely have on display. Surely there was a gallery in the mansion. "How do I look?" he asked Iza, turning to the rainbow haired vampire on his arm. They were practically through the mansion's front doors at this point. Probably not the best time to ask the question, but he couldn't help himself. He was a little nervous. He'd never been to a party like this one. Certainly never with a date that he cared so much about, either. "Do I look okay?"

While he did not know what to expect of this night, Enoch felt almost content with the aid of present company. Sure, the clothes tugged on his shaggy fur as he moved and the noise was still a bit much. But the opportunity to celebrate both the future with his mate and the potential to form stronger relations between the two clans was quite a treat. As Delilah pressed against his side, her petite form so perfectly nestled into his sizable frame, a wave of warmth surged through him. With a peek at her face, his grin reached his eyes in response to her words, noting just how delighted she was in all of this. A thought crossed his mind briefly then, contemplating whether or not it would be appropriate for him to skip the shoes on his visit to the Manor. But the excitement that danced in her violet eyes pushed it away, for that was to be a worry for another time.
Instead, he remained silent and listened to the Daughters speak, their voices sounding quite harmonious together to his ears. A much more pleasant chime to their speech compared to anyone else in the room. Enoch did not necessarily hold the same sort of attachments that Delilah seemed to have, as he generally preferred his solitude, and so there was little reason for him to divulge this blessing so directly before this moment. Not to mention that he himself only learned of this revelation a short while before arriving at the mansion. As the word 'parents' left her lips, he shifted slightly, straightening his posture and gently squeezing her shoulder as he awaited Lorelei's reply. There it was again, but this time he was sure. The sudden rush of pride taking hold over his features. Let them talk, he thought to himself, referring to any spectators among the crowd as well as Kindred throughout the lands of Faetasia. He was certain the news would spread in time, but the animal merely relished in the thought of someone attempting to harm his love and his children, his Beast snarling from within as the images filled his mind.
The resounding glee in her response enabled those thoughts to drift off to the background. Enoch offered his other hand to Lorelei, a pleasant yet knowing smile inching across his face with the slightest glint of his fangs slipping free. "I appreciate your blessing and await their arrival eagerly myself. Perhaps, if it would be no trouble to you and yours, we shall bring the children along on our visit once Delilah is comfortable with them being old enough to travel." He paused as he briefly considered the possibilities with their children, of whether or not they might choose to join either clan. In his mind, the choice would always be their own, for he would not cage any wildling willingly, let alone his own children. "Unless you think it wise to have a discussion before then. I leave this decision in both of your hands." He glanced back down towards Delilah with a nod and his toothy grin, clearly thrilled with how well the news was received. Should the children possess a different calling and the musical talents of their mother, he would not deny them. He certainly hoped that her beauty would pass on for their sake. But there was also much to learn, at least what might be deemed acceptable for him to know, about the Daughters of Cacophony. Only vague memories and little rumors came to mind, but his curiosity merely attributed to his concern that his children would be safe among them.

The Pound Puppies hadn’t had much of an active part to play recently so to speak. Oh they spent a lot of their time at the Sin Bin but they just didn’t seem to want to run the same. Not since they all started pairing off into their little couples. But Gramsci wasn’t worried. It’s not like it threatened his leadership or anything. And where there were some more could be found so he had gathered what puppies were hanging around for the intended night of working the Toreador party as security. Covered in spikes and chains save for a little bow tie around his neck, the Gangrel kept watch at the door. So far it had been rather uneventful. Well, if you counted the Gios and Capps hogging the doorway and the Ravnos getting all up in arms. Probably stole something off the one Gio but what did Gramsci care? He was just there to make sure Elysium was observed. Wether or not he jumped right into the fray to stop any outbursts well, he had told the Toreador it would be extra. When Enoch had walked through the door he was surprised. Not only to see the Disciple there but….to see what he was dressed in. He’d wrinkled his nose but said nothing to him. If the old man wanted to talk to him well it would be the Disciples prerogative to do so. Gramsci wasn’t intending on seeking him out. For now he’s wait. Though he did make note of the one Ravnos who seemed to be slipping down the wrong hallway. Quote: Gramsci is open for play~

Neferu was feeling quite pleased with himself and the way the night was going. Not only had been able to spend some quality time with his lovers already, but they were going to an illustrious and extravagant party. At least, that was the theory -- he very much doubted that this party would be as indulgent as something the three of them could concoct...
From the moment they walked up the stairs and into the main hall, his eyes looked around, hoping to be fairly impressed. But alas...where were the drugs? The sex rooms? The decadence? He'd expected more than just opulence hanging from the walls, but then, perhaps Neferu had imagined something a bit different.
Still. There was booze, it seemed, and who knew what they might find behind the doors of the room?
With his arm looped around Abanaub's, Neferu let his eyes take in the men and women who had already arrived. A few were familiar, but there were plenty who weren't -- which was just as well. He came here for a party and had every hopes of turning a few heads, and maybe finding himself sandwiched between his lovers as they danced. He did so like to be the meat of the sandwich... though he really didn't mind however the three of them wound up. He was with the hottest individuals in the room, bar none.
Like his lovers, he'd taken on a less ancient appearance. His hair was, of course, pinned up in an intricate style. He wore a slightly sheer v-neck shirt that dove deep down to his stomach, showing off his fit physique and his golden body piercings. His pants were black and quite tight, leaving little to the imagination, embroidered with golden thread. Black boots finished the ensemble, along with chunky bangles, multiple piercings, and hair adornments all made of solid gold. He was certainly a sight to behold, but it was all for his beloved Kemat and Abanaub...
And, perhaps, a little bit for himself.
"A drink sounds divine, I'm absolutely parched," he exclaimed. Like Kemat, his eyes did catch sight of the red-haired god of vampires, and he offered an elegant dip. There was no reason to be rude, of course --he was important to Abanaub, ergo, he was important to Neferu. With a smile for them both, he began to move them towards the bar found in the back. There were a few others there already, but Neferu didn't mind. This was a party, and he was no stranger to good conversation. He planned on thoroughly enjoying the drinks the Toreador might provide.

To say that Delilah was elated by her Disciple's response was something of an understatement. Beaming with happiness as the joy swelled within her in a rising chorus, Delilah gave a melodious laugh. Cocooned by Enoch's love and the presence of her own Disciple, the elder was nothing if not joyous. She was oblivious to the growing drama in the hall. Nothing could have made her happier than knowing that these precious little lives would be welcomed into the world. Already, she knew that her twin sister was excited to be an aunt. Dahlia had been the first that she'd told. Even Enoch had followed, for the bond between the sisters was as strong as could be.
But she'd been thrilled to share the news with her mate. He had welcomed the new lives with open arms, as excited as Delilah herself, which was saying something. She wondered over the little ones that had yet to arrive, pondering whether they would take after their handsome and bestial father, or whether they would hear the music as their mother did. So many possibilities and she could hardly dream up each one. But dream she did, delighted and overjoyed by the happiest of news.
"I cannot wait to meet them. I am ever so excited to see where their paths will tread," she admitted to Lorelei and Enoch both. "Whether they will take after their father or their mother. Perhaps they will be wild little sirens, a bit of both." There were so many things that she did not yet know about them. But oh, she could not wait to meet them. "I would be delighted if we could bring the babies with us to the Mansion, if you do not object. It's part of their heritage, after all." And there was no way in the world that Delilah would willingly leave the babies by themselves. Either she would stay home or she and they both would accompany Enoch to meet with Lorelei.
Personally, she thought it would be delightful to have the little ones present. They would have to come to know their mother's clan one way or another. And why not this way? Even though they were likely to be too young to take it all in. Ah, but she could not help but beam up at Enoch, ever so elated that he was so patient and careful in how he engaged with her own Disciple. This could only be good for relations between their two clans. She leaned comfortably against him, glowing with happiness and new life. There was so much to celebrate. Truly, she could not be happier than she was right now.

Izaiah’s expression didn’t hold much to show he enjoyed where he was, but then he rarely looked very pleased or excited to be somewhere. The only reason he was there was Shay, not only would he support him, but he still felt he owed him for all he put him through before. He wore an all black very fitted suit, the tie, the vest, the whole 9 yards. With his colorful hair pulled up in a simple pony tail, keeping a bit of it down framing his face. Straightening out his jacket, feeling quite not himself but it did look good on him. “You’re worried about that?.” Despite his discomfort there would be no way he’d let Shay go about looking like that on his own. Worried at how lavish the place they were entering. “You’re more than ok, would breathtaking make you feel better?” He reassured, hoping Shay found what he needed here. “Now let’s go before I change my mind on the whole thing.”

~ Fleur Delacour walks up to mansion. She had been away for a while, her family and friends had needed her. She had left her husband a note explaining the long trip and had tried to send notes whenever possible. Coming home for new years seemed like a good idea. She had packed her best dess and shoes for the occasion. Walking until she spotted the mansion she was happy to be before it. Taking a little time to get use to it. She walked inside.
Looking around she was impressed with crowd. She decided to walk around. She was a Witch and she was brave enough to make anyone do a double take. She thought about her mate. If anything before long he would find her. She happy-go-lucky at the thought of seeing him again and watched the crowd. ~

Lorenzo Giovanni had shown up early at the party, and he came for one reason and one reason alone -- he wanted to dance. The young fledgling had dragged his brother with him, wanting to be among the crowds, and to see if the glitz and glamour of the Toreador mansion was as impressive as his own home.
He was, thus far, more than a little impressed. They certainly had spared no expense, and there was a type of charm when it came to the ignorant mortals moving among the Kindred. But, then again, the Giovanni had their own interesting ties when it came to their mortal kin -- how many of them were turned into ghouls as they hoped to be turned? Still, it was one thing for one's family to be involved -- but tonight, there were strangers of all colors, stripes, and positions all under one roof.
The black haired, pale vampire had warn a sheer shirt, with a few intricate patterns woven throughout. A silver belt was strapped upon his waist, and he had sported pants that were tight in all the right places -- but not so restrictive he couldn't move or show off his skills. While he was entirely a Giovanni, dedicated to his family, there was little doubt that his father's Daeva blood ran through him, too. He moved with grace, and a faelike quality -- and while his brother and he had separated, he was more than happy to continue to dance by himself. If any other vampires danced with him, that was just as well for Lorenzo -- he wasn't known to be shy.
He wanted to dance, he wanted to flirt, he wanted to have a peach of a time and he would, one way or another. He wasn't worried about stuffy politics. No, he was dancing to the music, and having the time of his young unlife.

He found himself feeling a little bit bad for his husband. Tonight was supposed to be one of a good time. Celebration and cheer. Instead Ignatius looked miserable. More than miserable. He felt bad because the other should have been out there dancing the night away but instead he was stuck with Aureliano trying to track down a Baali. Which he was super was far from how his husband had wanted to spend his New Years. If only it hadn’t been for this trouble they were in with the infernal. As soon as the cigarette was lit he took a long inhale. Letting the smoke nearly burn his lungs before letting out a slow trail of smoke out into the already smokey room. Absently he wrapped an arm around Iggy and pulled him in close. “We don’t have to leave early if you want to stay and dance. Or mingle. I know spending your night like this isn’t ideal but you should have some kind of a good time. Even if it’s a little bit.” Aurey wouldn’t take a no for an answer. Even if the fledgling protested or objected to the whole idea. He didn’t want to be the reason Iggy had a bad time. Gods knew their marriage had already started off as a bad time. His gaze swept across the club room. The music so loud it pounded in his ears. There had to be some Baali here. If the Cappadocians could pull one out to be here surely the most hated clan in existence could also muster a few members to this party. Another drag and a mother breath. Letting the smoke swirl up where he breathed it through his nose and out his mouth once more before letting it flutter away. If Iggy accepted his suggestion he wouldn’t ball, he wouldn’t argue. He would let the younger Giovanni have some fun while they were there. While they were on a tight schedule, that was hard to deny, they had agreed to start off on a better footing than they originally had. He could at least give him this.

Tai had arrived sometime earlier, intrigued by the events and spectating some. Before settling his sights around the music and dance, having snagged a drink along the way. He wore a little more appropriate attire, but it still had the swirls embellished along the collar of the vest over a grey button up he rolled the sleeves up at this point. Along with a mass amount of pearls he sported. Even his buttons were pearls. Bright against the dark of the vest. And just a touch brighter than his under shirt that itself had a shimmer to it. He enjoyed fancy parties like these. Everything you wanted seemed to be in this one place, whether you wanted to mingle in common areas, or go have more fun to a beat. There were beautiful things to gawk at too not that he was much for appreciating objects. He was there for the fun of it, nothing more. He spotted another seemingly there for much of the same. Icey blues looked at his movements, bottom up. A side grin growing. Taking a finishing swig of his drink and half walking and dancing through to him. The closer he was the better the sight. Tai wasn’t very tall but that never stopped him from approaching anything he liked. “Hey,” He moved around the other, placing a hand just to grab attention before removing it. “Where have you been all my ‘life’?” The line might have been cheesy, didn’t bother him none.

Cano’s laughter was present to Llwellyn’s ears. In fact, he quite liked is it and hoped to hear more throughout the night. “Oh yes. I have been to one myself. They are quite spectacular. I’ve never seen anything like it in my life. Ravnos took me to a patshiv once a while ago. I think….it was Liliana’s Kimpania. Everyone there always had so much energy I was surprised they could all last dancing and singing so much.” The young vampire smiled at the memory. His grandfather was always trying to expose them all to the Ravnos way of life one way or another. It was so they would all know what and where they came from. So they could all have that connection not just among themselves but with the other Ravnos and Roma people. They were all family, in a sense, after all. Llwellyn listened intently to Vamo as he described his Kumpania. He knew quite a few had themes. Like music or animals. But one that was so diverse sounded very nice. “It sounds lovely. I would enjoy visiting sometime if you would not mind.” His attention was pulled away to the familiar sound of his cousin’s voice. “Radu……” a small sigh passed through his lips. He knew all too well how much trouble his cousin could cause. And the Ravnos always expected others to bail him out of said trouble. “Perhaps not. Most clans would rather ignore a Ravnos than have to deal with them. Even my cousin.” As Radu slid up to the bar he shot Vano a large grin. Pointing at the watch on his wrist like some trophy. “Only if you don’t keep quiet, Vano. Sheesh. Sometimes I think you wish I would get caught. You wound me so. AH cousiiiiiiiiiinnnnnnnn!!!” Sliding close to the pair he wrapped an arm around both their shoulders, giving each a light shake. “What a partyyyyyy what. A. Party. I have never had this much fun in my life well that’s not true there was that ahhhhhhhh you don’t want to hear about that time. What are you two fine fellows up to tonight?” Radu gave a laugh as he leaned back to watch as a particularly handsome vampire passed by. “Uhhhh if you will excuse me cousin I have some…..business to conduct. This watch isn’t going to sell itself.” Unwrapping his arms from around them both Radu slid off into the crowd, following close behind his next mark.

There were very few occasions where Iza showed a more pleased or excited expression. At this point, Shay did not expect it. However, he gave a pleased smile when Izaiah answered. "Do you really think so?" he asked, tugging Iza in through the front door. There was... some little standoff taking place just in the entryway there, and Shay skirted around it very carefully. "You're looking very stunning yourself," he added, deciding that the drama unfolding was definitely not worth potentially risking their skins. Oh, but there was art all around them! Shay was practically in raptures with the art on the wall alone. Let alone the potential for a gallery that might very well be ensconced in the mansion.
He felt strangely drawn to the Toreador Clan, perhaps because he himself was an artist. The urge to paint was almost all-encompassing, enough so that he could become totally absorbed in it for nights on end. As he'd done for an entire year, most recently. "Alright, alright. I know you're not happy to be here," he said, pouting at Iza as he led them through the crowd. Maybe they'd go toward the area that seemed more like a club than anything else. He started leading them in that direction, weaving through the crowd.

It was pointless to point out that Radu had already gotten caught. He'd said it before. Radu apparently disagreed. Well, so long as the Giovanni didn't decide to chase the thief down, Vano decided that it was time to ignore Radu's existence again. Well. Nominally. It wasn't like Vano himself wasn't inclined to a little thievery now and again... but he was a bit more circumspect when it came to his targets. He didn't flinch when Radu wrapped his arms around them both and then sauntered off to cause trouble again.
"Ravnos parties are unforgettable. Meetings are nearly just as merry as a party," he said, turning back to the conversation at hand. He'd much rather return to his discussion with Llewellyn than chase after Radu. His eyes did follow the other for a moment before he returned his attention to where it belonged. "Ahh, Liliana's Kumpania would be an excellent time." Even during a clan meeting. Such affairs were rarely so formal as a gajo event. And they nearly always devolved into dancing and music.
Something Vano missed keenly when he was playing the role of peacekeeper. Sometimes he'd far rather be in the heart of his Kumpania than doing Ravnos's bidding... but then, he was a family man. Clan first. He was a phralmulo, so the ties ran deep indeed. "You're welcome to visit. My Kumpania would be pleased to have one of Ravnos's blood in their midst." That made him part of the Kumpaniyi himself, even if he was not formally a Ravnos.

Vespara couldn't have told her sweet little brother no when he'd asked her to the party. While she hadn't made any plans to attend herself, she couldn't say no to the invitation -- especially given her poor brother had few others to ask. With Ambrosius off with Uncle Ambrogino, doing gods knew what, Ignatius married with his own mini-mansion, there were few others the young Giovanni could ask to accompany him. So of course Vespara would oblige.
While she had passed an invitation to meet Regulus there, if he so wished, the dark haired vampiress didn't have any expectations of seeing him. Not only was he busy with his modeling contracts and photoshoots, but she knew he wasn't exactly keen on Clanned vampires. If he showed up at this shindig at all, she'd very very surprised. As it was, Vespara had every intention of enjoying herself... and keeping an eye on her little brother. She loved a good party, and was pleased to see Caelius so eager to attend.
Perhaps he'd meet someone interesting on the dance floor, or at the bar. One never knew when a random encounter could turn into something wonderful...
But perhaps she was more than a little biased.
Donned in a fashionable ebony lace dress, it cut down her back, and hugged her curves. The dress itself was layered and light, flowing with her every move, almost like dark, ghost-like tendrils. Her hair was pulled up off her long neck, and black pearls adorned her throat. With high heels, mesh stockings, black and silver accessories, black lips, and purple painted eyes, she was certain she'd make more than a few heads turn -- and let them. She was a proud Giovanni, and she would represent the clan as nothing but a lady.
Waiting for Caelius outside the mansion doors, she smiled brightly, giving him a little laugh. "There's still a steady stream of individuals coming in and out, I highly doubt we're the only ones making a fashionable entrance," she assured, amused by his excitement.
WIth his arm laced in hers, Vespara stepped into the main hall with her brother. Lo and behold, who should be before them but their own beloved parents, Vinny and Claudius. Unfortunately, they were rather wrapped up with a few others -- two individuals, deathly pale, and far more powerful than she. No, she wouldn't bother them, and whoever they might be entertaining. Though her eyes slid over Augustus, she also knew better than to bother him in such a public environment. He was a busy vampire, after all, especially among all the powerful vampires in this room.
While Vespara wasn't usually easily intimidated, even she felt uncomfortable among so many ranking vampires. Peeking over at Caelius, she smiled, watching him take ita ll in. "Ah, shall we get something to drink? Then maybe check out the ballroom?" She tugged on Caelius, drawing him further into the crowd, and away from her fathers. The two vampires they'd been talking to reminded her of the premacines within Giovanni...
Cappadocians, she was sure of it.
And if Capps were here, she would ensure Caelius wasn't anywhere near them.

If Caelius had had the time, he might have taken note of the Cappadocians gathered around the entryway, but as it was, Vespara guided him safely out of harm's before he'd noticed the group. For a moment, he thought he'd seen their parents and had almost given them a greeting, but they rushed by in a blur. He blinked, a little surprised by his big sister's sudden rush to be in the doors, but kind of shrugged it off. It didn't matter. "Oh. Yes, let's get something to drink first, and then maybe dance?"
Dancing with his sister wasn't the most exciting thing in the world, but they had fun together. It wasn't the first time they'd gone dancing. After all, their parents really didn't like it when he went off by himself. Going out with Vespara was far preferable, in their view.
Now that he'd gotten a look around the room, he noticed some very powerful vampires in evidence. He'd already seen his grandfather, but there were many kindred he'd never seen before in his unlife. Caelius didn't know them on sight, but he could feel their overwhelming presences. None so powerful, however, than the red haired vampire in the corner. Was that... the vampire deity, Grendel? He thought it probably was and decided that staring was probably not the best plan. Letting his eyes slide away, he glanced around the room again.
Wow! Never before had Caelius been around so many kindred. Clan Giovanni was populous enough, but even it could not compare to the rush and press of the party. He was a little overwhelmed by the numbers, truth be told, but happy enough to be there. "Was last year's party like this?" he asked, glancing at Vespara. For he knew that she had been at last year's party.
