Blizzard120 I got a good ways away from the Pokemon Center then looked at Aden. "Alright, Aden, this isn't like back when, where I had you hitting a punching bag with me right behind it, occasionally smacking you just to teach you to keep your guard up." I said to him. "Now this is mildly for real. As I mentioned, Ryan will be your sparring partner. Now. This isn't going full steam ahead, not yet, but a few punches are probably going to fly. We're going to teach you how to take down a foe. A throw, a drag down, anything. Basically counter measures for the most part. I told you that you would need to be on your guard for all time, and blocking a shot is all well and good. But are you just going to be a punching bag?" I asked Aden. Ryan finds a safe spot to place his pack and starts to stretch. He needed to be loose. limber. He takes a few deep breaths as he does, letting his eyes settle to the low light. fighting at night was one of the tougher things to do.

Quickly feeling he might've just found a way on Blizzard's bad side, Aden opted to keep his mouth shut. He made sure to watch as everything unfolded.

Really Aden didn't phase me at all, apart from that whole self-esteem bashing of himself, but apart from that, a bit of sarcasm is alright occasionally. I just thought it was funny, actually...
As Ryan made his 'punch', I threw my arm up, as if to block the shot. "Alright, so I block the shot, or I could just as easily..." I then reached around and completely grabbed his arm. "Grab his arm. Either way, look at this. For about a good second, you got right in front of you a potential entire cornucopia of pain you can dish out upon your opponent. Like in a Pokemon battle, time and place for EVERYTHING. Strike where it benefits you best." I said. "Gut shot, leg trip to possibly curb stomp your opponent more, hell, since you got this guy's arm, make use of it, why don't you. Whatever the case, don't hesitate, just go." I said, letting go of Ryan's arm then stepping back a pace. "Alright Ryan, for real. Try not to hold back."

Quiet, Aden made one personal note. Never get into a no-holds-barred fight with Blizzard. Such an action would be suicide.

As Ryan made his punch, I quickly grabbed his arm with one hand, grabbed his shirt with another, then hooked my leg around one of his to give him a trip and put him on the ground. Not too hard mind, I did have some restraint. Either way. Done in less than a second. Could have been faster if I was going all out. "As so." I said. "Saw how quick that was, Aden? That could mean all the difference for as all you know." I then said, helping Ryan back up.

That was the reason he hated going on the offensive in hand to hand fights. It didn't allow him to judge his opponent's speed. "And don't think that was easy by any means. Blizzard is remarkably quick." he says.
