"Definitely an upgrade to your Electric arsenal, but he does have a point. You want different moves of different types so there are very few enemies that can catch you unprepared for them." Ryan says to Tristen, nodding has he does. Blizz had the right idea.

"He said something like that, too." Tristen said. "To be honest, I am wanting to learn how to use Quick Attack like Tails does. I feel like Im too slow sometimes when I see Tails or even Blizz move around at times."

"Well, I do believe they have moves to augment their speed as well, plus, they have had a lot more time and practice with it. I am sure you will get quicker on your feet the more you work on it." Ryan says to Tristen.

"I've been trying. Right now though, I've also been training Pokemon too. Blitzle has been doing real good lately." He said.

"Hmmm. Blitzle." Ryan says and pulls out his personal Pokedex. Thanks to Professor Juniper, it had the Unova Data in it. "I see. Electric Type with one Evolution. Speed is it's main skill along with Strength. Defense is a little shaky, but if your hitting your opponents hard enough, that won't be too much of an issue. " Ryan analyzes, then snaps close his Dex and puts it away. "So why aren't you training yourself along side your pokemon? Not only does it kill tow Pidgey with one one Geodude, it also helps strengthens your bond with said pokemon to whole new level." Ryan asks out of curiosity.

"Oh I do!" He said. "Blizz suggested all sorts of ways on how I can do that, too, and why I should train along side of Pokemon and how it could work if I ever gotten into a battle with someone like what we did back at Challenger's Cave."

Ryan looks over at Lykas. " And which Legend are you hunting?" he asks the young man.

Lykas gave a small, sheepish grin before responding. "Phione." He didn't really react much other than that yet. No, it wasn't glorious. No, it wasn't powerful. No, it didn't have the fame of other legends. But to him, none of that mattered. To the young hybrid, there was a kinship he felt with the Pokemon's story. Abandoned even before birth and searching endlessly for a home it knew it had never known, it was a Pokemon whose life was spent much like his own.

Ryan smiles. "Then keep on doing that, and you will see that your own natural abilities will improve as you do. I know the many years training with and against my own pokemon have made me stronger and faster than I ever was. And now as a channeler, my connection with my water pokemon is even stronger than I thought could be possible. It been an adjust becoming so attuned to one type of chi, but one that has such a reaching influence." Ryan explains to Tristen.

Ryan looks over at Lykas again and tilts his head. "I have never heard of it. " he says. It was the honest truth.

"Oh! I do! I saw it in the SNAG. I...kind of learned about it when...I was trying to learn how to read." He said. In hind sight, he was a little embarrassed. As far as what he found out, children learned to read typically a good deal younger than he was. Another thing he cursed the tribe over. "It's...uh...like a baby Manaphy. Its a Pokemon in...uh...you can maybe find them in the Sinnoh region. They're really rare, just like Manaphy itself."

"Huh. Now Manaphy I have head of, if not the pokemon it's self, but of a special item that once bloomed on my gourd. It helped me in time of great need during the Cipher incident in Unova." Ryan explains. It had saved his life that day. A situation he was hoping never to be in again.

The more he talks to these people, the more Tristen starting to realize just how committed they are in what they do. He wondered if his drive even came close to matching theirs for a moment and if not what did he have to do?

"What's going on in here?" I made my way into the room with a fresh Coca-Cola in hand, twisting off the top to the bottle.

"Hi, Blizz." Tristen spoke up. "You...look kinda tired...is everything ok?"

"Yea, I'm fine. Just went through a bit of stress relief, really..." I said.

Ryan looks over at Blizz. "Ah, just some friendly banter is all." he says. He holds up the Master Ball so Blizz can see. " I have a most powerful water ally from Jhoto with me now." Ryan says.

"So you finally got it. Not bad, Ryan. Not bad at all." I said to him. "So now what?" I then asked.

"To finish my training and keep preparing for the worst that may come when I reach the end of it. Suicune is part of the firepower I will need." Ryan explains. "although, for a few days, I will just take some time to relax. Going through the trails and challenges I just did was not easy to say the least. I managed a rather impressive feat through it all, outside of earning a powerful ally in Suicune." he adds. How many others had actually done what he had in ringing the Clear Bell?

I dropped a straw in the Coke bottle and took a sip as I listened to Ryan's temporarily lax schedule. "That actually reminds me a little; I may need to tend to Articuno a bit. He hasn't been getting much sky miles lately namely because I haven't had the chance to write to Miles. Incidentally, I don't really have all too much to write to the fox about anyways at the moment. Granted, I do tell the bird that he's free to get out some on his own power instead of waiting on me to ask him to go to the Hyda region again, but yeech. I'm still thinking the bird is still scared of whats out there...which is probably the reason why he gets to Hyda so quickly...literally a fast-as-you-can flight with little stops as possible, I'm suspecting." I rubbed the back of my head. "Bah, you nurse a bird back to health for a while and now its stuck with you...yeech, I worry about that Articuno a lot."

"That seems to be a trait amongst all legendary fliers. I once was friends with a Lugia for a awhile after I had saved her and her mother from a poacher's net. Eventually we had to go our separate ways, but I don't forget about that. I was a good experience for me back then. You could say it even substantially restored my faith in being a trainer, which if that hadn't happen, I probably wouldn't be here." Ryan explains as he stretches and then swings his Gourd off his shoulders and sets it on the ground next to him. The sound of water sloshing around inside was apparent. Recharging it would be the first task for him after recharging himself.
