"At least that much is good...though, if you remember, that Suicune didn't have as many screws loose as we originally thought it did. Though, it could have just flat out told us what was going on...hmm..." I rubbed the back of my head. I would be more surprised in hindsight if it weren't for me being a bit jaded...

"...so you only got through by a hair?" I asked. "That crazy, huh?"

"Sounds rougher than what Tristen and I had to contend with last year in the Unova region." I said, taking another sip of my Coke. "Blasted Cobalion..."

"Yea...he's been getting better. He's had his drive to get stronger the right way. He kind of had a cruel realization just a short bit after we found our way back to the team. A situation with Miles, really. Long story short, Tristen realized he essentially contributed nothing while Tails on the other hand contributed a lot. In fact Tails essentially saved everyone that day. Me, Mikey, and Eve included." I said to him. "Tristen took it hard though...he literally broke down in front of Tails the night we got back here after that and from there he pretty much swore to get stronger for Tails, even though both Tails and I told him don't sweat it and what happened...well...happened. It's been rocky for the kid since then, but he's coming along."

"Perhaps." I said. "Speaking of up and coming people, I can only be left to wonder what Aden is up to now. Haven't seen him since we left him from his gym tour in Jhoto. I've always been meaning to ask Sol if even HE has heard the first thing from him."

"Like father like son..." I said, rubbing my eyes. "Ironic considering that even Aden gets annoyed by that."

"I've been here for the most part sans whatever missions that Sub puts either just me or the entire team out on." I said. "I'm not hard to find."

Lykas sat on the couch in Snagem HQ with a small manual in his hands. He was taking notes on the moves he wanted to learn as he developed, though he wasn't making any promises to himself since it seemed his body and his powers were developing on their own and without his express decision to learn them. He made a few notes in his little book to make certain he learned Energy Ball, Sludge Bomb and Acid Armor with extra notes(question marks included after them since he was still undecided on them) to look into the benefit of learning Trick and Spite. Both seemed like they could be very useful with the right amount of training to specialize them a bit.

He ignored Kaya as the silverette was sitting across from him with his Pokemon, preparing to go to the training room. The Grass-type trainer who was questioning his specialty was preparing to try working with his partners and learn a few new tricks, be it attacks or new methods of using existing ones. Well....He tried to ignore him but he was making a fuss over his Marill's fur being mussed and that his Eevee was annoying his Togepi.

Deciding that he couldn't take the distractions any longer, he stood up, snapped his booklet closed and made a proposition aloud. "How about we have a battle?" He asked, figuring Fog and Tallulah could use some training since neither had seen a battle since obtaining them. This would be a good opportunity for him to see what they could do with the moves they currently knew.

"Sure. As long as you promise not to slaughter my team. We're not very strong right now except for Primrose and Le Faye, after all." Kaya responded after a moment of hesitant thought.

"Promise. Cross my heart and hope to die. Again. I think......" Lykas responded as he made an X across his chest. "I only want to use two or three of my Pokemon anyway. Two newer ones and one who hasn't seen much in the way of fighting in a long while.

"Alright. Let's go, then." Kaya agreed, allowing Lykas to lead him to the training room.
