"Well, we're going to figure out how your perception works. Come on..." I said, going back to the Pokemon Center. "Let's go get a meal and take it back to a room in the center, because I'm not sure on what I'm thinking on is going to look right to some." I said. "You'll know why in a minute, and no, its nothing bad."

"What, like how I sense something?" Aden asked, unsure if he was anywhere near close. He doubted he was that keen on it in any case; the most he was able to sense on a regular basis was his sister, or some chi.

"We're going to see if we can get you sensing a bit more than what you normally do, assuming you can right at this moment for that matter."

"Yeah, that might be a little odd for passers by, then." Aden conceded as he went back inside.

Ryan was just listening to the two talk at this point. This all sounded like something he would have to see to understand. Once inside the pokemon center, Ryan gets a room and sets his pack down and removes Ruth. He places the tiny dragon on the bed. He should be fine for now. Ryan then leaves to meet back up with Blizz and Aden.

I made my way into the Pokemon Center and found my way to the back. The cafeteria in this place wasnt as big, or as grand as the one out in Violet City. It was just a small, quaint one, that served its purpose out here on a small traveling route. Menu? Soup. Pick your kind, any kind. Chicken Noodle, vegatable, Brunswick, doesn't matter, it was probably there.

Aden was quick to settle with some vegetable soup once given the chance, and a couple of crackers. More than enough, as far as he was concerned.

I made my way, getting me a bowl of Chicken noodle, not minding the crackers or anything of that sort and paying for it for that matter. "Come on, Aden, let's get us a room and we can talk." I said, making my way off.

"Right." Aden had already figured that, and was quick to follow. Though it was arguably more quaint than one in a traditional city, he doubted there'd be nothing available for rooms.

We would find our way to a room, which since this was meant for a rest stop more than anything, the bedroom of sorts was meant to house more than one person. Bunk beds lay up against the walls instead of there being just solitary beds. There wasn't no one else in this particular room, so it'd suffice on what we need for the moment. "Alright Aden, get to chowing down and we'll try to get to figuring out a couple of things." I said.

"How exactly, if you don't mind me asking?" Aden was at least a little curious. He knew the gist of what was to be entailed, but as he took in a couple spoonfuls of the soup, he wasn't sure just how this would all go.

Have you ever, even at least once in your life that you can recall, feeling something out of the ordinary? I don't mean something that's your imagination getting the better of you or a cold chill or anything that. I'm talking like...being able to recognize any presence without looking. Know like let's say...hypothetically, your dad is right around the corner without him making any sign or indication otherwise that he's there." I said. "Or your sister. Hell, me for that matter."

"My sister countless times." He answered. "Hard not to after living with someone for most of your life, and that someone's got a knack for linking her mind with everyone else's." Aden paused long enough to get another spoonful, then resumed. "As for anyone else... it kinda varies a lot. You and dad are the only other two I can notice sometimes. Maybe Freth too. But even then, it's not that reliable."

But even then, it's not that reliable." "Then you probably have the same problem I had at one time, Aden." I said. "My instincts couldn't really be counted on because, mainly, I couldn't hone them like I wanted to. Didn't know how to, for that matter. Sure, instincts could pick up something, definitely something strong for sure a lot of the times. But generally? Like in a fight? Or something faint, like a human being? Or a wild Pokemon for that matter, one that hadn't got a lot of training, rather it be by nature or trainer? Yeeeahhhh, a lot of the times it ends horribly for me. Made it a habit to look over my shoulder a lot." I said. "Because at times, instincts said one thing, eyes say a different thing, and it gets all so confusing." I said.
