"Michael." Alex groaned. "You sure about this?"
"It's more exciting and probably safer than walking around for another year until Will breaks his leg or you get sick."

"Damn right we're sanctimonious, it's the Snagem way." Sub insisted. "As for what's involved in joining...you will be provided with the option of going on missions sanctioned by the team. It is completely up to you which mission you undertake, thus you will not be forced to do something against your principles. You will be given a place to sleep and food to eat. Also we will provide you with a communication device to stay in touch with other members of the team, which also acts as a Pokedex. Furthermore we have our own Pokemon storage system, off the mainland grid."

"Rob a lot of banks to fund that stuff?" Michael asked, leaning against his Kangaskhan's meaty arm. "It's better than what we've been doing. I'm not signin' no contracts, but I'm in and Will goes with whatever I do."
"I'll join, on the provision that you have a library somewhere in here." Alex said, which earned another warble from Caduceus.

Which by the way, if you ever see that thing and it talks to you, please ignore anything it says." Sub warned them. "But yes, there are no contracts, and we have a huge library, all books stolen, of course."

"Suit yourselves." He shrugged. "That does complicate things. So I'll give you a different mission. Basically, I need you guys to prove you got what it takes." Gesturing for them to wait a minute, Sub would walk off towards a closet, soon returning with a box. "You know what a Snag Machine is?"

"-Robbed!" Kaya finished the sentence he had begun in Kalos as he arrived at Snagem HQ. Releasing the four remaining Pokemon on his team, he discovered that while he still had Primrose, Anael, Nigel and Josephine, Ballast and Le Faye were missing-in-action. Trying to think of when he might have lost them, he remembered a young girl brushing against his side while he helped load the lifeboats. He'd seen her arms move but he had assumed she was simply trying to get through the throng of people and board the boat behind him. She had been the only suspicious activity he'd seen during the chaos, not counting the presence of so many criminal groups in one place.
"At least they're probably not at the bottom of the ocean....' He said as he attempted to console himself. This was not going to work for him, though. By the time the lifeboat the girl had boarded was released into the water, they would have to have gone to the nearest region, which would have been Kalos by then. He now had a reason to go back to that strangely beautiful place.
Odd and Lykas kept quiet, heading off to their room for the moment, passing Sub's office along the way.

"Yeah." Michael shrugged lightly. "It was invented in Kalos by that guy who just came up with the holo caster, right? He's been all over the news. I might be thinking of something else, I guess."

Abby shook her head at Sub's question, but was unable to explain as Sub ran off to introduce himself to other newcomers. Abby followed Sub, but did not make her presence known to anyone else.
Chaos watched Lykas and Odd head upstairs with a smirk and stayed put, deciding to let Lykas blow off some steam first.

"Maybe..." Sub said as he scratched his head. "I need to get me a holocaster one day...either way, a Snag Machine is a device which converts a Pokemon, giving it the ability to capture an already own Pokemon. To be blunt, it lets you steal Pokemon from other trainers." He would then turn to Abby and wave her over.

When he finally made it back to Snagem, Aloe immediately collapsed at the front entrance. He was too exhausted to even make it to a chair. "Worst...mission...ever," he said inbetween pants. While it was a mission involving the whole team, it at first had appeared simple enough for even Aloe to handle. All he had to do was rescue two Snagem allies who'd gotten themselves caught by some Cipher grunts aboard the S.S Anne. But then, for some reason, every well known team, from Plasma down to Rocket, began to show up, starting an all out battle royal that finally ended with Aloe nearly getting eaten alive by Sharpedo and the whole ship crash landing in the Kalos region. And this was just his second mission.
Still after all was said and done, Aloe still had the problem of how he was going to get home. Lucky for him, though, he'd caught a Carvanha during the mission, allowing him to safely swim all the way to Johto. From there, it would be a long walk to the hideout.
After all that, it only made since for Aloe to be tired. His Tyrogue Natsu, on the otherhand, was brimming with energy. So much so that he decided he wanted to run a marathon around the HQ. Hina just smiled and waved to him, returning to her "good girl" routine. Maybe she was just happy to be away from all that water.

"Aloe! Come here for a moment!" Sub shouted as he waved to the new guy. He then turned to face Abby and began to speak. "You need a Pokemon, I want you to borrow the team's loaner Absol and go out to snag your first Pokemon. How does that sound?" Sub asked.
