SubonicXP The arriving Snagems would find Sub standing in front of the flat screen TV on the wall in the main area, awaiting their arrival. "Ah, people have begun to arrive, perhaps now we can get started. Please, everyone take a seat so that we may begin the show." Sol didn't bother to take a seat. "I'm sure you don't need us all sitting, or do you plan to floor us with this show?" He commented. Amaranth and Cera were a little better about taking a seat, doing so rather quickly and without comment.

Odd entered HQ from the main entrance shortly behind Sol and proceeded to the main room without a word.
"So that was pretty fun...."
"Damn right it was. We should do that again sometime."
Lykas and Kaya descended the stairs at the same time, responding to the call from GRAY. "So who managed to reprogram the smart~/~ in the SNAGs?" Lykas asked, having taken note that GRAY was particularly polite for once, ever.

Sub wouldn't say much else, instead he turned to face the TV on the wall as he took out a small remote control from his pocket. Before he did anything else, he turned around and pressed a button on the remote, causing the TV to turn on and reveal an image of some sort of landmass, a map. "This, is the Kalos region. As some of you may know, the Kalos region is a major tourist destination, their rich culture and incredibly old landmarks draw in much money for the region. Kalos is considered my some to be one of the oldest regions in terms of a human presence on it."
He would then press another button on the remote, causing the image to change to one showing some sort of emblem, a royal crest of sorts. "The Kalos region is also one of the last regions to be ruled by a monarch. Granted, in this day and age the king is mostly a figure head and possesses limited executive power. However, as a cultural icon for the Kalos region the king possesses tremendous influence on all comings and goings and the region. If there is something the king doesn't like, it is changed or gotten rid of, period."
Again, he would change the image on the screen, this time showing a bar graph, one blue bar and one red, both almost equal in length. "Recent polls have shown that the citizens of Kalos are near evenly split when it comes to opinion of the king. One half says that they favor the king, most citing that the king is the cultural and historical Representative of Kalos. Others consider the king to be an ancient relic of the past that shouldn't exist in modern times."
Sub would then turn the TV back off, pocketing the remote and now focusing on the Snagems before him. "Now that we had a little history lesson on the region, let's get to the point of this meaning. With Kalos so divided it would only be a matter of time before the peaceful region falls into a civil war. I propose we investigate the inner workings of Kalos and see if we can't mend the two sides and prevent any future fighting."

Aria stared at this presentation with an analytical and critical eye, prepared to shoot down any strange ideas or stupid misconceptions that the leader might bring up. Although he had dumbed down a few of the intricacies with the conflict over the monarchy, she found no possible way to shoot holes in this information. "Okay, Sub. That sounds like the general idea of what's happening in Kalos, but I think you're missing some information. I haven't been back home for a while, but I don't think that civil war would happen over that with just that dispute to fuel the fire." Aria spoke up with, Reno raising an eyebrow as her mysterious origins swiftly broke down.
Leslie just simply sat and watched, unsure as to what exactly she might jump to. Rolling around on the couch, she was visibly bored and just itching to actually do something besides talk and sit.

"Perhaps not, but it just depends on how brave the king gets with his powers. A pot can only boil for so long before it overflows, no?" He asked the girl.

"Kalos... wasn't that the region you mentioned the SS Anne crashing into?" Sol commented, looking to Amaranth. A nod was given to him in response, the rest of the briefing listened to afterward. "So you want to find out what makes what side tick?" Cera asked, trying to figure out the general idea. "And maybe do something about that king..." She added with a shudder.

Some time after the Snagems entered, a familiar Absol casually let herself in. It was close to Halloween and it only seemed proper to make a few appearances around the cities and towns. The Absol made herself at home, flopping down behind the couch as Sub changed the channels. Soon enough, she dozed off.
Veronica was just getting out of bed - holding a record for being lazy for so long. Though as it went, her first sight made her jolt awake. One of her pokeballs was on the floor, open. She checked her team, Of course, she would be the kind to run off... But the real fear was whether or not she wanted to permanently leave.
Hurriedly, she went around quietly searching for the Absol. "Cherry..." she called out to the Absol sleeping soundly behind the Snagems. "What are you doing here?" Veronica asked in whispers rather embarrassed. "Ab!" the pokemon suddenly got up, aware that she had dozed off. Veronica glanced at the others, unsure if she was willing to do some social interactions yet, it had been so long. At least it didn't feel awkward. The Absol stepped back before Veronica could take out her pokeball. "Ab.." she called again. Cherry jumped forward to push Veronica towards the door, then rushed out of the building.
Veronica took a moment, "I'll be back soon..." she went after Cherry. They seemed to be talking about something important anyways. Oh had it been quite so long since she even said anything, since she went out on a mission... Even Veronica herself wasn't sure what had happened, what caused her to be isolated for so long. Maybe she should return with candy or something for Halloween.

"...was that Veronica just now?" Was all Sub could saw as he saw the Absol and the girl, it was all so quick and brief that he wasn't sure. "Any who...yes, Sol it is. And also yes to you, Cera. I think it would prove beneficial to learn all we can about their inner workings, and maybe get that king in line. History has shown that once dissent grows against an all powerful leader, he uses everything at his disposal to squash the threat to his power."

"And if they squash too hard, they'll get a whole lot after them." Cera chimed in, recalling the past. "Still... I dun think a lot of us really know about this region at all. So how are we gonna get there?"Amaranth looked over at Cera, not too sure of how to get there either despite events.

"No, not even I have much knowledge on the region. Like I said, we've really had no interest in Kalos as the place has been relatively peaceful, in terms of evil maniacs trying to take over the place or use it as a launchpad for a much more sinister plot. Regardless, while they may not have much trouble with threats like say Cipher, they do seem to be having civil discord rising. So yes, I wish to learn more about Kalos." He said to Cera.

With the whole discovery of the Kalos region, apparently GRAY got updated with the latest information about the Pokemon as a whole, let alone the Pokemon typically native in the Kalos region. New attacks discovered and a new classification of Pokemon types - the Fairy type. I found it weird for scientists and professors would come up with some sort of off the wall name for a type, but considering the nature of the Fairy type and the attacks to follow, I guess I could see why.
As I read up on the Fairy type in my SNAG in the main room of the headquarters, sitting on the couch next to Telia, my Gardevoir, who was playing around with a rag-doll Mr. Mime, I started to read up on with this new type classification, they had to check and double check their earlier classifications of Pokemon to see if they were in fact still valid. A handful of Pokemon, like the Snubble and Azurill evolution line did in fact get such a change or just simply got the type added to them. One Pokemon in particular caught me off guard. ".......the hell?"
"Voir?" Telia spoke up.
"You're a fairy type?" I asked her, staring at her in confusion.
"Garde? Voir?"
"Yes you...holy hell, that means your mother is too." I said, rubbing the back of my head.
"Gardevoir voir?" the Pokemon asked curiously.
"Nooo...your brother isn't a fairy type. And considering how he is, probably for the better."
"Voir..." Disappointment was abound as she started to hug her Mr. Mime doll.

"Ah! Blizz!" Sub shouted as he saw the Cold One discussing the Fairy type with his Gardevoir. "Hey there, Telia. Maybe you can help my Kirlia later, she has been...off." The man said as he looked down at the Pokeballs on his belt. "Any who! Blizz, I got a favor to ask of you." He said to the blue bird man.

"Whats that, Sub?"

"I can't be the only one afraid of whatever Sub might be planning." Sol commented. He looked over to Cera and Amaranth for confirmation, but instead, it seemed that Blizzard's comment on a new type got the Mew to look over Amaranth's SNAG to find out more about it.
It didn't take long for one thing to catch her eye, eliciting a squeal as she practically put the SNAG in Amaranth's face. "Ammy, look at these, they're all too cute~! And the Togekiss I gave you's one of them!"
"Um... yay...?" Knowing little of what was making Cera so giddy about this, she thought that maybe it was better that it stayed that way for now.
