I looked up at Smoke, my eyes cold. "His name is Dain...and trust me you dont want to know what i did to him" I said. my voice was as cold as my eyes. "he was a wind and fire user..." i grumbled. "I have a feeling that he was somehow involved with Cleo and Tirain, i thought about asking him...but knowing him he wouldnt say anything..." I paused and then smiled. "He may be more cooperative now" i said with a giggle.

I absentmindedly drug my fingers though the sand with my fire, making the sand turn to glass. I loved my brother but the things he had done had wiped away all emotion. I didnt think i could even cry anymore.

I went closer to him and closed my eyes. "I think i liked it better when i was blind..."i said with a giggle. "thank you..." i said. I wound my finger through the necklace i had made for him and the flame inside turned blue.

((-Tempted to ruin moment but find this to cute to something like that-))

Smoke shook her head, "No... the sphinx is the only way. The spell she used that brought her back... Well..." She thought, wondering how to explaine it in easy terms, "The spell has no counter spell... and she's not made out of darkness... I would be able to feel it. The spell is a dark one... but it's not an elemental spell. it reverses the time effect on te body, making them age backwards so that they have their skin and flesh... and youth. And If she were animated, she wouldn't be plotting things that are new to her. She knows things from her past... but she's learning new ones as well." She sighed, "The sphinx is the only way... Trust me on this Infern..." Smoke looked at him pleadingly. The sphinx WAS the only way... the spell Cleo had used was one not to be tampered with. It tampers with anubis... and the onlything that can reverse what anubis decides... is that sphinx.

Skyler spoke up, "It's harder than it sounds. They are both experienced. CLeo has her spells and Tirain is cold hearted and would kill you with a whisp of the white rangulet... which is an unknown plant on earth. It's highly poisonous. If someone gets it injected into them, he can control your body's reactions. Making you sick... or kill you with just a thought. he can torture you with unbearable pain... however... it can be used in a good sense." He got quiet as he thought.
"Yeah... We tried to kill her, but obviously were unsuccessful. She's... she is very minipulative and smart. Observant. She'll pry know what we're up to already..." Smoke sighed, "I'm a failure..." She started to feel down on herself.

Infern gave her a confident smile. "I think I can tell what your thinking... and I'm not about to let one of my most successful students sacrifice herself." Infern's smile faded and he looked in her direction with a serious expression. "There is a catch to this sphinx and we're not using it until all else fails. I've met Tirain's kind before and I think I can handle him." you can't inject an intangible body or torture a mind that has seperated. Besides, if he can torture you with a thought then he is psychic. All you have to do is put up a mental block to keep him out, and I know that you and Miera can do that, you'll just have to help the rest of us learn it. Newton's laws don't apply here so we don't need a counter-spell. Sometimes you need a more powerful spell."
