Blizzard120 Playing defensively is starting to go out the window now. "Alright then, if you insist on the teasing to stop..." I said. "Typhlosion! Earthquake!" Typhlosion would jump up then stomp down on the ground as hard as he could; the ground quaked furiously. If I couldn't hide, I might as well get Sub thinking twice in attacking another way. "Thunder Fang!" Sub ordered as the ground began to shake, causing he himself to fall onto his butt. Edgar would be on the ground when the Earthquake hit, causing it to experience deep pain and its footing to become shaky. However, it fought through as it dived at Typhlosion, mouth open wide as it intended to clamp down on the Fire type and send a surge of electricity directly into it.

Typhlosion yelped out as the Thunder Fang clamped down and the electricity coursed throughout his body. Sub's pretty much on the same page as I am right at the moment. We can't use Fire attacks because it would be fruitless doing so; that's just Pokemon Battling 101 there. Difference is that how we're having to go about it. "Typhlosion! Strength!" I shouted. "Get that hound off of you!" "SIOON!" The Typhlosion went to grab the Houdoom and showing off its brute strength once more.

Once again, Edgar would belch out a thick cloud of smog which would surround it and Typhlosion. The idea was to choke Typhlosion for as long as it decided to hold onto Edgar and not get out of there.

Sub's trying to play passive against a brute like Typhlosion. Real smart, to be all honest. Though it was all he could do right now. As I started to hear Typhlosion cough to the fumes, I had to make the call before he passes out. "Typhlosion! Shut it down! Reversal!" "SIOOOON!" Typhlosion went to retaliate against the Houndoom, unleashing all the force it could muster up.

The Houndoom would get the lights beat out of it by the devastating Reversal attack, though there wasn't much it could do about it rather than what it already did. Sub grunted as he recalled his Pokemon, disappointed that he didn't take down that overgrown mouse. "Looks like we are halfway done with this battle, huh Blizz?" The man said as he tossed out his fourth Pokemon, Poe the Sableye.

"Flamethrower!" I then shouted. "Ty-SIOON!" The Typhlosion unleashed the mighty roaring inferno towards the Sableye.

The Sableye would snicker at the command as the flames came at it. The ghost's eyes would let up as sheets of energy in a hexagon shape formed in front of the eyes. The sheets of energy would quickly expand as they flew straight into the Flamethrower, growing to twice the size of Poe's body. The Rock type energy would prove to be resistant to the flames as it just plow right throw the fire and threatened to smack into the source.

Typhlosion would in fact get plowed over by the rock type attack, rather fiercely at that. Sableye was surely gaining ground where the Houndoom before it couldn't. "Well, the Sableye does have a couple of tricks up its sleeve...Typhlosion, you hanging in there?" I asked. "Siooon..." The rock attack did in fact rock its world, as apparent how it nearly lost its balance and the need to shake its head, but it could still go. For the moment anyways. I didn't want to use Blast Burn if it will just end up just as Flamethrower did. The all-or-nothing attack would come up with nothing if that Power Gem showed that kind of force again like it did just now. I may have to play it safe a little. "Earthquake!" I shouted. The Typhlosion jumped up then landed hard upon the ground once more, quaking the area.

Sub commented as the ground began to shake again, causing Poe to stumble around as it fell victim to the attack. "I'm going to puke before this is over. Poe, finish that thing, give me a Power Gem volley this time." He told the Sableye. Poe with give a toothy grin as it nodded excitedly, jumping high into the eyes as its eyes gave off a glow and it fired off a rain of Power Gem in the size of its eyes.

Typhlosion was overtaken, unable to weather the blow from the Power Gem, fell over and couldn't bring himself to get back up. "You tried, Typhlosion, take a rest." I said, recalling the fallen Typhlosion back to its ball. Zangoose, Scizor, and Typhlosion down, three more to go. Options were getting kind of slim now. Part of me was regretting using Scizor as early as I did, now that I was thinking back to it. I then took out a Pokeball, moving it about my fingers, debating it for a second then tossed it out. "Porygon-Z! Go!" I shouted. The ball hit the floor a couple of seconds later and in a flash, out came the hyper pink Pokemon. "PORRRYYY!"

Sub said with a wave. "Now it's time I do something a little out of character for me. Let there be light, Confuse Ray!" The Channeler commanded, the Sableye sticking its tongue out and swinging it from side to side as its eyes gave off an extremely bright flash of blue light.

The Porygon-Z winced, then went into a dazed. There it hovered as if it was drunk beyond comparison. The Sableye infront of it started to appear practically everywhere around it. "Porygon-Z! Snap out of it! You've been through worse than this!" "Porrryyyy..." Ugh, what a hell of a thing to switch into. Sub is trying to keep whatever advantage he can get. Well, let's go for broke. "Porygon-Z! Ice Beam!" Porygon-Z followed command alright...just right down to its base and blasts itself, hurting itself in its confusion. "Not good..." (even - attack succeeds, odd - attack fails)

"You sure you don't need to reboot that thing? What is it running? Doors '98?" He laughed as he cracked the joke. "We'll take full advantage of this opportunity which you have so generously given us. Nasty Plot." Poe's eyes would give off a glimmer as it began to rub its hands together deviously, attempting to devise the most sinister plot it can think of. As it plotted, its smile widened.

Ugh, if ever a time where Porygon-Z needed to punish this ghost, this would be it. "Porygon-Z! I don't know what you're seeing, but you got to break out of it and shut this Sableye down. Try a Dark Pulse!" I shouted. Porygon-Z would soon snap out of its confusion; the images faded and sees a grinning face that needed to be turned upside down. "PORRRRYYYY!" The Porygon-Z unleashed its darkened pulse off towards the Sableye. (Dice 1: Confusion Cure: Even - success, Odd - Stays confused) (Dice 2: If Confusion cure fail: even - attack, odd - attack fail)

(Dice 1: Confusion Cure: Even - success, Odd - Stays confused) (Dice 2: If Confusion cure fail: even - attack, odd - attack fail) Sub watched as the Porygon-Z suddenly seemed less erratic and this time successfully fired off an attack at Poe, a Dark Pulse. "Tch, it broke free from the confusion, oh well it served its purpose." He shrugged. Poe would get hit by the pulsating wave of dark energy, sending the goblin skidding backwards as it attempted to keep its upright position, barely succeeding. "Let's put your plot to use, Poe, Power Gem!" For the third time Poe would conjure a Power Gem from its eyes, however, this time the Power Gem was huge, twice as big as the large version if originally fired off, and twice as thick. It seemed near impossible to avoid this wall of Rock energy.
