Damn it, I completely forgot. Infern thought and then he gave a long sigh. "We've been ignoring the big question. What is the true source of the power that let's them be this way? If you destroy the source of it then they would have to be destroyed as well."

Smoke stood, "Well... I'm going to the Sphinx... That's the only option I see fit..."
Skyler looked at her, "I'm going with you. We're family... and family sticks together." he got up.

"Not the answer i was looking for, nor did it answer my question... and I'm not letting you go to the sphinx like this. Not without answer my question. What is the source that keeps Cleo and Tirain going when they are supposed to be dead?" he asked her with an intensity in his voice. He got in front of her and stood there, fists clenched. Waves of energy began to pulsate from him as he stared towards her.

Smoke didn't want to answer him... *Infern... this is something the sensei must not know... just the grasshopper.* She dissappeared and sworled around his body *You...you just need to trust me Infern... I know that i'm still younger than you, but I want you to trust me and have faith in me... You always worried about me when I was learning from you..* She laughed mentally and smiled slightly. *but... Now, I need you to just... let me do this...... alone.* She became visible and her back was to his back. "Please Infern..."
Skyler stared at them and wondered what they were saying to each other. He suddenly got he feeling that smoke was going to go alone, "Smoke...?"

Kari was bored. Everyone was into this new cool mind reading magic. One of the abilitys Kari really wanted so she could be cool too. I know I have it, Kurai and I talk with magic mind alot.

*miera just watched all the different conversations going on, not joining and not being asked to. she felt kari's boredom and interest, but decided against talking to her, so she wouldn't get glomped or some random thing.....she wasn't much of a touchy person*
"well, it DOES seem interesting that there is so much psychic abilities tied into this....." she mused silently to herself. she thought out loud, not caring if anyone heard her
"a mix of psychic....if any element, being dark.....sounds right up my alley. But..." here she stopped momentarily, continuing as if oblivious to people staring at her "but........." she thought, shields barely up so that smoke could have heard
*squeezing her eyes tightly, she remembered in vivid detail cleopatra (in her original life) and tirain turning her into what she was.....a psychic and darkness user. she remembered the intense mental pain she had felt, at feeling their minds and their plans for eventual world domination...and anubis' help, especially with converting her. the pain had been so intense as her new open, raw mind delved into theirs, that she could feel it now. slamming up many thick mental barriers, she fell to her knees, grimacing, one arm around her stomach, the other outstretched to stop her fall. she thought she thought, so tight into herself only smoke might have heard her she thought, passing out

I looked up at Skyler at laughed at the comment looking at Smoke and Infern. I inched away from Skyler and stood up, still holding his hand. "You wanted me to transport you so that means i am going as well..." I said. I though about the distance. "Did you say ONLY 150miles...come on Smoke that is a cake-walk....i could go back in time with the amount of energy it takes me to do just that..." i said with a smirk, but i was serious. *Just tell me when you want to leave...oh and dont let your thoughts wander if you dont want people to hear them* i though to Smoke, raising my eyebrow.

Smoke thought to Kurai *I don't mind if you hear what i told Infern... and I am thinking you'll stay here and help fight. They'll need your powers. Skyler will pry stay too... Just... don't tell him. Please... I think I'm going to do this on my own.. will you understand? It's... something I must do...* she hoped Kurai would understand her like she understood Kurai.

I gave her a 'look' *I know you understood when i had to talk to them but you sent Nile with me so that means you didnt trust me to take care of myself...so in return i am sending someone with you...*i thought smirking again. *this isnt just your fight Smoke they did something to all of us and i believe we diserve payback...so i am going half-way with you so that way i will still be with the group but you will also have my powers at your disposal too, so dont worry about it, i have been in enough wars to know how to be in two places at once...* i thought smiling at her. "oh and dont try to protest..."i said aloud. then in my head i said, only to Smoke putting up blocks*Or everyone will come with us...you dont want that do you...?* i said with a devious, blackmail smile.

Dammit, Smoke, I won't let you go like this. You can't kill them if you don't destroy the source. If the source is still alive then they can just keep coming back. Infern looked severly concerned now. "Clex, come here."
Clex obediently walked over and stood by Infern's side. He had a puzzled expression on his face but he knew he was gonna get some action and that made him really excited. "Are we gonna use the new technique?" he asked Infern as he looked at him expectantly.
"Maybe, I don't know yet. We'll either go to the bad guys or stay and fight with the rest of these guys." Infern replied, staring in the direction of Smoke's aura the whole time.

what, no one's noticed i keeled over, and passed out? crying woow... eek ....jk XD ill leave her there though ninja )
miera was still passed out, as she relived the memories of cleopatra calling on anubis to infuse her with his dark powers...and to grant her strong psychic abilities so she could wiggle out the absolute truth...and to tie them by blood so she would become cleopatra's willing slave. she had pleaded against the bleeding part, saying that she had already followed cleopatra basically everywhere loyally without needing to be bonded. cleopatra had relelented, but tirain said she needed to drink something, in preparation for the gifts she was being so thoughtfully given. she choked down whatever-it-was, getting hallucinations from the bitter brew. she had fainted, and when she woke up, everyone's minds was as open to her if they had turned their guts and bodies inside out for her to see. she had screamed, especially when all the shadows from the candle light rushed towards her, and entered her.....she had become one with the shadows. they had left her again, but had left her body changed; she was no longer brunnette or blue eyed. her hair had grown to her knees, and turned deep blue-black, the better to meld with the shadows. her eyes had turned purple, and npow glowed with her abilities' release....and her complexion had lost the tan she had developed when in Ancient Egypt; she was now about as pale as a porcelain doll, and even now, in her own time, she had not managed to tan. she had also been removed from time for a while, so sha came back quite a few years before she left........and the years STILL have not caught up with her. she was forced to conclude that she was no longer quite all human...and she hated the change, even as the devilish duo tried to make her 'test' her new abilities by driving people mad...she refused, and was beaten. she didnt know what had come over her adopting sister, cleopatra. these memories reeled through her mind, bits and pieces flashing out of her tight shielding to reveal themselves to smoke.....but not enough to figure ou the whole*
(hmm...some food for thought twisted she had fallen through a time portal... ninja and im going to have it that she was part of some weird absorb-any-power bloodline............that got broken when she crossed into Ancient Egypt, cuz the genetics hadn't shown up yet XD this way, back in her own time, maybe she can gain other elements...? just a thought....be neat if she was related to infern before she went missing and got changed...... ninja just another idea ninja lol)

(It's a good idea and it fits what he said about knowing a psychic user once. I might not be able to log on for the rest of the weekend though so try not to move too fast plz.)
