(.........I'll let you off this time but know that detonating a cave while one is still in it is nothing but wise! Bammit, that's so like you......)
They got out of the cave. All of them looked upset, the sky was filled with clouds covering the stars.
"That dragon wouldn't hurt now, would it...?"
Logen called it forth when requested and it leaned its neck for them to climb on it (she does what Night says because Night is scawy)
"I know that you're scared but let's forget that for now. We are in a hurry"

vasily climbed onto the dragon very nervous and once he got on top immideatly closed his eyes. very intent on not looking anywhere at all.
he felt the massive creature take off in a rush of speed and wind. he crushed his eyes shut and felt like he was going to fall off. he grabbed night tightly around the wist and was dimly aware of losing his hat to the wind. he shiverd, it was becoming cold the wind whipping at his face and exposed skin. he buried his head in nights back hoping for some shelter from the wind, cold, and of course the dragon.

Night spoke to him softly.
"You don't have to look but we are getting on their trail now. I can see a griffin flying and something dark further"
People started taking out their weapons with grim faces. Then, far ahead of them, the sun started to rise. Something white was gleaming ahead, like a big jewel or something"

he barely heard her over the wind and slowly opened one of his eyes. below he saw the forest rushing past at blinding speed. he closed it again and held her tighter. "ok" he mutterd his voice very shakey.one of his hands slowly pulling off of her trailing against her stomach and slowly pulling out his rifle and holding it close to him in preparation.

The dragon flew on the griffins side. The man had already noticed that they followed and now shot silvery bolts towards them with his crossbow.
Night managed to block them with the sword she was still holding.
"Be careful not to touch, this blade is made of silver" she said and dodged the other round of bolts.

he smirked at her a little "of course i will keep my body away from your sharp, swinging, silver blade. he grinned a littlie in spite of himself. he pulled out his pistol and started firing at the griffon with one of his eyes barely open. the dragon hit something that could only be described as a bump, that made him grip her tighter.

"Did it occur to you that I might want to breathe?"
Her voice had a little chuckle in it when she tried to loosen his grip.
She made a bolt stop with her blade just before it hit them. Lauren was getting closer now and the man started firing at her for change.
The vamp turned in the air, irritated of this little bug bothering her. She bent her arms into a cross in front of her, causing snow to surround them all. For a while they didn't see and the man cursed.

he grinned a little "no the thought didnt occour to me" he said softly "sorry" he mutterd loosening his grip but moving closer to her, still blindly firing his pistol at the griffon. his gun suddenly clicked empty and he slowly tried to reload with one hand and his eyes still closed.

The snow disappeared and they found that Lauren was further ahead.
"Logen, can you make her slow down or stop?"

vasily felt the dragon hit another bump and felt like he was going to be thrown off. he moved close to night his chest pressing into her back his arm briefly crushing her stomach before he realised he did it and loosened his grip a bit. he finally reloaded his pistol and opened his eye again noticing they were far ahead too far for his pistol, he was sure he could hit them with his rifle but that would mean using both hands and he wasnt gonna take his arm from around night. and besides it felt good with his arm around her.

The mountain was coming closer. Lauren had almost moved out of sight when the man shouted something in weird language, disappearing into a flash of light again. Lauren suddenly stopped in mid air when she found the man in front of her.

vasily just looked at her as she sat there floating in the air, apparently the dragon wasnt expecting it because it just flew straight by her. he turned a bit and pointed before the dragon did a very sharp curve and doubled back causing vasily to almost lose his pistol he grabbed night again. "i wish i had never got on this infernal beast" he shouted over the wind his eyes closed tight enough that they started to water making it look very much like he was crying.
