(Sorry I've been gone! my internet got fried for a few days)

Nymm had only been able to stare at the scene, stricken with shock and horror, but now she lifted her sword and said, "I've seen these things before...it has to be smashed! If we smash it, it should free him and give her back her strength." She pointed toward Amu as she spoke, before lifting ehr sword and bring it down on the gem with a loud crack.

ok... *stabs an imp* stupid little animals

Yoshitsune was free at last. He kicked several imps off of Nena, gently reclaiming his blades. He chopped through several imps as they fled back into the portal; the Soul Gem was gone, so they no longer had reason to be there. As soon as they were gone and the portal was closed, he rushed to Amu's side, holding her in his arms. "I don't ever want to leave your side again..." Tears were streaming down his face.

She held him with what weak strength she had, "Yo....Yoshitsune......." Tears filled her eyes as well.

Nena smiled and glompped him, "I knew you'd come back!"

Amu smiled faintly.

Then, he uttered two words that would change the course of history forever.

"Marry me."

She sat up, and took his face in her hands, kissing him passionatly. "I....I'm sorry, Yoshi. I can't." She looked pained.

(First time I've ever been rejected. ^_^)

"That's okay. You know how much I love you. I can wait.."

Nymm tilted her head slightly, smiling at the scene before she turned away, sheathing her sword and sighing, "Well...what now? Those things are probably still around here, watchin' our every move..." Cracking her neck, she grumbled under her breath to herself, "And I'm running out of time..."

"No...Yoshi....." her lip trembled from the pain. "I can't marry you."

(now you've been rejected again. Ha! I love this new plan!)

amu turned to Nymm, avoiding Yoshitsunes' gaze. "We must move quickly."

(although, in Anime Warriors. My char tryed to leave. But I guess that doesn't realy could.)

*leans against a tree* we need to move soon

(Not a one. I'm quite charming that way. I've even had two characters in one RP get married at the same time!)

Yoshitsune's jaw dropped, and he sagged to his knees. "A-A-Amu... Why?" He was dumbstruck; he could not say anymore. Tears welled up in his eyes. After all he had gone through; the suffering he bore for her, the sacrifice to the creature to defend her, his attachment to both her and her daughter... He could not bear the thought of not being with her. When he first heard Nena ask if he was to be her new father, his heart was filled with joy. But now... Now...

Now... He was on the verge of falling apart.

He fell, limp, into the earth around him. He no longer had the energy to even sit up straight. His breath came in ragged sobs; it was as if the air itself was being torn.

Oh boy...Nymm thought. She'd seen this happen with her brother back home. "Hey, Yoshitsune? Um...Look, I know exactly what you're going through, but if you let yourself focus too much on this, well, probably none of us will survive the night." Like we would anyway, she mused as she watched the sun set.

*picks the man up* HEY!!! WHATS WRONG WITH YOU!!! SHE DIDNT SAY SHE WOULD NEVER MARRY YOU!!! whats wrong anyways im sure she loves you just as much but take it like a man dont just drop like a fly it just shows your weak *drops him* where are we headed....
