Adam pursed his lips. He walked over to Jalynn and put a hand on her shoulder. "Listen, girl, I'm real sorry an' all. I mean..." He glanced around and spoke to her in a hushed tone that only Jalynn could hear. He made sure his thoughts were hidden. "As you can tell, I have a rough time getting along with people. I was horsin' around with Riku and accidently broke the lamp. It was the first time I laughed around anyone but Eno. I...want to become fr..friends with people in this house. As much as I can. I promise you in wasn't intentional." He gritted his teeth. Not because he didn't mean it, he just had a hard time expressing himself. "If there's anyway I can make it up..." he offered.

Jalynn shrugged her shoulder, making his hand fall. She then remembered something her dad told her... to be accepting of things, no matter how much they hurt. That was how she got through their deaths... but she never showed those emotions either. This was her first time crying ever since she was young... she didn't cry at their funeral.. she burried her feelings deep inside of her. She held her breath and her face started to turn red. She then let it out slowly and took another breath, then sighed, "there's nothing you can do to a broken lamp except try to fix it... bit it'll never be the same..." she then thought for a moment, then looked at the debrise, and sighed, "I wonder how much this'll cost..." She stood up and walked under the hole and looked up at it. It was still somewhat morning time and she wondered if she could maybe redo part of the roof in 12 hours.

Jalynn sighed, "yeah... It... it belonged to my mother... and her mother... and my grandma's mother... It's a family heirloom. It was my night light when I was a little girl and was afraid of the monster under my bed and in my closet." She laughed a bit then sighed, "My mom gave it to me... she used it to scare the monsters away when she was young too... it meant a lot to me when she gave it to me.. then i gave it to-" she cut off and stopped talking. "You don't have to help me... I can do it. Although... i may need help getting the wood up there..." she turned, and left the room and headed outside to make some measurements and destroy a bit more of the roof.

(what happened to the sleep, and all the effort khrin went rhough to fix the lamp?? gonk ill have er do it now... stressed )
*khrin had walked in. making jalynn fall asleep before she had completely passed khrin, she fixed the lamp with a spell, glaring at adam in case he protested. she moved jalynnto a more comfortable part of the floor in the empty room, away from the debris*
"she needs rest....and while you are doing better, id appreciate it if you left for a while..." khrin said, softly as jalynn slept "normally i wouldn't interfere, but.....she really needs it" khrin said, her wings flaring and the silver catching the lamplight after khrin had plugged it in "i can work on the roof...you can help if you still like to, i suppose.......even though you hate me" she said, a small tear escaping before she brushed it harshly away
*rummaging in her robes, she pulled out some gems and set them with the lamp in front of the sleeping jalynn. a message in spirit fire wrote itself onto the air where she could see it Go ahead and use the jewels in a pawn shop or whatever...And ill go ahead and fix the roof. Don't worry about it...take care of the money and ill take over remodeling this place for you...^^ khrin brushed her hand over jalynn's forehead and eyes to wake her up. flying through the hole, watching as adam left glaring at her, she started to sing to the planks and stuff and they rose out of the room, avoiding the awakening jalynn. a barrier appeared over the roof, blocking out the sky and all sound of khrin's soft song. it allowed nothing to pass through as she worked on the roof, finding a hammer to start putting stuff back into place
a black feather floated down to rest on the spirit message, dispersing it after jalynn had finished reading it*

(wait!!! I want Jalynn to fix the house up. it's one of her goals, to fix it up herself. *odd goal yes i know but she's an odd character... i mean she has a first aid kit and operates on ghosts rofl * and i have a funny idea twisted involving her and adam. buahahahahahahahahah... *cough* >.> )

(but, but..... stressed i had already put her to sleep once, but because i wanted time to put it in, i had my post in, then edited it..... stressed this would be the second time i put jalynn to sleep!! scream ust read the first one, on the last page, please.....???? gonk i worked so hard on it...... crying please, please pleaseplease fall asleep??? crying you could stop khrin on the roof.....after the first sleepy-post happened, i mean crying PWEAZE??)

Spade nodded as he huggled Jalynn then ran over down stairs to his the sickly girl awake. Spade ran up to her and said "Hiyas!" Happily with a cheerful smile.

((Gotcha. Jalynn found out about the lamp. Turns out it was passed down in her family and hold a lot of sentimental value for her. As you could have guessed, Adam was caught red-handed and is dealing with an upset Jalynn. Now they're gonna fix the roof after getting the money. Umm...that's currently being discussed among the girls. Like, controversy~Anyway, Riku's probably still hanging around so you know where to start off. ))

Jalynn suddenly became groggy and she fell asleep. Her breathing was deep and peaceful. She rolled over and her hand fell and touced Adam's hand, which was resting on the bed. Jalynn unconsciencely held it a bit as she slept.
(Oh! ok, how abouts... khrin cleans up the debrise in the room, and is about to work on the roof when jalynn wakes up and she's like "I'll do it!!!" and does the whole goal i want to accomplish something in my life thing. lol)
