Nah, I'd rather finish it myself. Drawing is an outlet for me, so having someone else complete it wouldn't work so well. I appreciate the offer though.

There have been a few people who complained about the crap that gets up there now. Esp. all of the near porn stuff. Because DA changed the system of the popualrity thing. Now the way to get pics on there is by number of page views instead of favorites.

I've seen people who had insane amount of pageviews and comments and they draw very crudely. They look like something an inexperinced artist would draw yet somehow it's very popluar. While some people who have been doing art for years and have schooling and such get completely ignored.

There also seems to be a trend when it comes to "popluar" art. You either have to do the following

Insanely detialed images
Shiny cel-shaded anime prefection
Able to rip off the style of the type of fan-art you're doing. Meaning you have to get every line and shape down.
Know or friends with a popluar artist as it seems if you know the higher ups people flock to you.
Sluttly chicks that are either near-naked or completely naked with huge boobs.
Yaoi
Near porngraphic images
Smilelys doing stupid things
You're so popluar people go crazy over it even if it's complete crap and just a random doodle.
Has to be a picture relating to the current trend/fad (ex. when everyone did ipod spoofs)

Apparently there's a cheat you can do by pressing f5 to give yourself more pageviews. Anyway you look at it, as much as I like th new layout, this new front page thing is definantly not working out.

I don't know if that works or not. You could always refresh using the button in the tool bar. You could also clear your cookies by pressing F and F5 at the same time. I have to do that with this site.

I stopped posting most of my stuff on DA and weeded out my posted submissions. All that's up there are the pictures I think are my personal bests. : It's not really so much about being popular, I think, as having a place where at least a few people can see it.
