*Bounces* Wow haven't posted here in a while, though this place doesn't really seem to be as active as it once was, sadly.
Its like 4 in the morning, I'm not sleepy, and on top of that I can't seem to stop playing zOMG even though I'm now at the point of needing a group of people the garlic thig at the farm is killing me and I haven't even been able to fight to big gnome in the valley, and forget about the Zen Gardens. I'm only at 2.2 and have only been playing for a day. But I'm still on my own, I have this thing about asking random people to come play with me. Curses I need to get my friends to play it. x3
Umm other than that, looking for a job sucks, it really really does. I'm so sick of putting in applications. Oh get this, I put one in at Walden's months ago, and after a few weeks later I went back, the manager told me that she will be hiring in late November, and to come back then. Well I went back last week and her boss was there, and when I asked her when she will be hiring again she told me that she had already done hiring back in Augest. I told her that she told me to come back in November and all she could say was "Sorry I must have been off that day." I was like WTF?! Aparently you can do drugs and work at a Walden's how the hell could you mix the two months up.
Anyway I have a few places I need to call back like Target, hopefully I can get a job there. And maybe I'll give Wal-Mart a call though Ihave applied twice and didn't have any luck.
Am I the only one who kind of feels like a whore while looking for a job? I mean think about it, you are trying to sell yourself to a company. *Shrugs* Just a thought.
Edit- Well Target was a bust got an e-mail from them saying that they can't place me. Witch sucks, I have been looking for and unable to get a job since July. Oh well I guess I just have to keep at it, just sucks that no one wants to give me a chance.

I'm grumpy today. Games Workshop pissed in my cornflakes! I spent $60 on a boxed game Friday. It's supposed to come with four frames, two of which are identical - so A, B, B and C.
Instead, I got A, A, B, and B, as I discovered when I opened it this morning. No C anywhere. But, C is needed to play.
Reading the label on the box, though, it says "Here's what you have!" and then, in tiny print, "Contents may vary." They're explicitly admitting that they're incompetent at packing things up properly!
Anyhow, I was grading papers over the last week, and one of the questions that kept coming up and kept coming up was about the importance of contact comfort (that is, the comfort that primates, at least, get from snuggling with fellows or parents or children; I personally think that rats, cats, dogs, etc. also get comfort from it). And it led me to think of a world where wealthy (human) people might purchase or lease... governesses, you know, intelligent enough to do the job, but also soft and fuzzy and cuddly, with nice waggly tails, expressive ears and so on.

Games Workshop has a great customer support department. If there is anything at all with your purchase, they will replace it.

Kirby got to go to a water park today!!!
A lot of the water parks down here are getting ready to close for the season, and many of them throw special doggy swim days right before they do. There had to be 100-200 dogs mulling around the park, having a blast. Kirby had a lot of fun walking around, sniffing, and doing quick meet and greets. He doesn't really care for water so I didn't take him to actually swim but I ended up plopping him in a few times since it was so hot. He hopped right out, but was frisky and happy for the cool down despite the getting wet part. He is the type that goes to a park to sunbath not get his precious fur wet. lol
For as many dogs as was there, it was run surprisingly well. They made sure everyone took their dogs off leash, and with all the space, dogs, and places to play it kept dogs busy enough where they didn't have time to get into any scraps.
Only bad thing was their grass must be burr land central. Every five seconds it seemed I was picking burrs out of his coat. Wouldn't have been so bad except this is the dog that goes lame if he has a burr on him. He will literally start limping and fussing over the offending burr like someone has just shot him. Such a little prissy girly boy. xp
