::raises a hand:: I'm here every day, pretty much in the same vein as Garek. Although he put it in a much more snarky way than I could've. X3
Anywho. . . why not open some more Mod positions to users who are always around, like Kriss said? I hope I don't seem rude by bringing this up; it's just a thought.

One of the first things I would do is go through the mod list and drop the people who are no longer active and get some new mods to fill their shoes. Nothing against any of the mods, and a spot would always be open for any who get the urge to return, but no sense confusing members by having crew listed that are no longer active. The real thing we need though is a new person to lead and run the guild who can be active. Both J and Zanz did great jobs when they were active but without a leader pushing everyone forward, giving directions, and coming up with ideas, the place is simply falling into decay.

We probably never needed such a large mod list to begin with. XD or at least make sure that people are selected to ensure there is always at least one mod on at all times.

I'm on Gaia several times a day and check into the guild at least twice a day. I agree..it needs a major overhaul and re-arranging around. It's really too bad that the attempts made at contests and fun things fell through.
Asphy - It sucks that you've been scammed out of money. You should have people do a half payment before you start and then the other half when you finish, that way you're set to get at least half in case they decided to bail out on the rest. As the buyer, it's confusing for me to do it, I'd rather pay up front, but I've been scammed out of really expensive artwork before *cough*$400*cough*
I don't like bothering artists and I don't like complaining about them, but there are at least 10 artists, some from the guild included, that I paid up front with. I got one sketch and then they dropped off the face of the earth. I've tried e-mailing and PM's and notes on DA and FA, but their response is that they sent it to me and never got a response back. So when I tell them that I never got it and ask for another copy, I don;t get a reply back. But I would say at least 19/20 artists are really good with following through with the artwork. /rant

Krissim Klaw Artemis Vulpes J.Kougar Actually Artemis Vulpes, I'm on here most every day at least once or twice... Sometimes I forget to check/approve the new member apps for a few days at a time, but I still take care of that and look the guild over... but I mostly gave up on trying to contribute anything because I'm all too aware that I'm not exactly the most liked/likeable person anymore and I honestly just don't have anything more to give.
I did what I could for this guild years back, but anything I had to offer of any use is long since gone. I have noticed though that the other co-admins and many of the mods have also pretty much given up on this place, and I really can't blame them. It bothers me to see the guild reduced to this from it's once point of glory (remember when we were in the top 10 largest guilds on Gaia list for so very long), but I was a very different person back then... and things change all too much as the years go by for some of us.
I've honestly considered just closing the guild on a few occasions, but as long as it serves some use to someone then I guess there is no harm in leaving it here.
I'm sorry I abandoned you all, but I'm still here... in the shadows... just incase anyone should ever need anything from me that I can actually give... but as time has shown, that's not app to happen.
I was actually speaking of Zanzibar. He just has up and disappeared on us. I know he still get on Gaia now and then, but we have not heard hide nor hair of him. A guild needs leadership, guidance and some sort of direction, not to mention constant maintenance.
There has only so much I have been able to do as a mod without over stepping my bounds.
Having an active administration helps as well. This place could still be salvaged, if the time was ever took to actually clean up the excess bulk of long forgotten thread, unneeded forums and inactive users. There is clearly only one thing to do, transfer guild powers to me, because we all know I'm far too obsessed about Gaia for my own good. mad Honestly, I wouldn't mind giving the place a complete overhaul and trying to revive it, but I would pretty much need someone like J or Zanz (not sure who really owns it now) to give me permission to have at it and feel free to delete/change/ and do what I please while revamping the place. Like Arty is saying, its just too hard for us mods to really do anything because we don't want to step on any toes. The only way a guild can thrive is if the leader is one of the most involved people in the place. That is why the guild once thrived, because J as unlikable as you seem to think you are, when you were active you did breath live into this place. ^.~ Edit- if Zanz is truly as inactive as he seems to be, than it sounds like it is time for him to pass the the torch. =3 I can help too. Being as I work the graveyard shift now, I have a LOT of spare time on my hands, most of it spent in the ZOMG....but I could probably help clean up some of the old threads and guild clutter, if someone wants it to be done.

This isn't an easy call to make... but yea, I agree that if I'm not going to do the job myself anymore that someone should.
I'm not ready to turn over the password to the actual Adult Furries Guild account yet, hopefully that's understandable, but I am willing to promote another Vice-Captain who can add/remove Mods and delete/create all sorts of stuff and hopefully 'lead' as needed. Everything I've ever done has been from a Vice-Captain position, and seldom have I had to use the actual AFG account unless I did so because I wanted to look more official. wink
This is the hard part, whom to chose. It really is a tough call, but given I think I know (or knew once upon a time) Kriss, just a little better than some of you, on a personal level, I'm going to give Vice-Captain power over to Krissim Klaw.
I think Kriss will do a good job with it, and I know that Kriss will be sure to work with the rest of you in making the needed changes.

All sexual innuendos aside, I do not mind working under Kriss. She is someone I trust and respect and know does still care about the welfare if this guild.

However I had been having some trouble contacting the commissioner of the ports and she was avoiding contact with me, so I released them for free. That's when I found out she just recolored the screenshots to keep from paying me And that sucks alot. At least you could always get ahold of me. I try and be as available as possible

Just wanted to restate how honored I feel you choose to promote me to a Vice Captian, J.Kougar. I look forward to trying to help revive the guild. =3
As for all you peeps both mods and members alike who mentioned wanting to help, you can expect me to hold you to that. Although the Vice Captain position will give me the power to do some of the technical fixes on the guilds face lift, the real success of the guild's revival will come down to us as a team coming together and helping to breath some life back into this place. It has always been the members that have made this place the cherished home that it is.
You can expect to see some threads started by me in the near future to help spark discussions and suggestions on how to best proceed on giving this place the kick in the furry rump it needs.
For now however you'll have to excuse my mumbled responses because I am currently suffering from sleep deprivation. Had to get up at 5:45am for Jury Duty today, and I am sooooooooooo not a morning person. @__@

Congratulations, Kriss!!! Now it's time to throw an inauguration ball! ...Or not, I'm out of my mind today. But congrats all the same. whee
Today rather sucked. It started off with a flat tire, continued onto being late for work, I quit my yucky job and then lost my cell phone. I ended up driving for about forty-five minutes to go find it since it's the only working phone between my mate and I. But I found it sitting in the snow! That made my night as well as a text from my boss at the dog walking job saying that we have a meeting tomorrow night with a lady who owns two Havanese puppies and she has another lead on a potential client close by.
Is it Friday yet?
