The Ordo's Official 2008's New Year Ball

"Welcome to the ball, Trendy." Lerina greeted him with a smile. "Though I'm afraid it's a bit quiet at the moment."  

[Deadly Nightshayde]

Taking a glass of strawberry wine from a server, Deadly settled down in a chair along the wall to wait out the lull in the party.

"It doesn't matter to me, how quiet it is at the moment just how loud it will get later," He said as he made this way to get a drink.  

[Eisoji]

"I really do hope it will pick up again."  

[Deadly Nightshayde]

Deadly drained her glass of wine and walked over to Eis.

"So, do you have any new year's resolutions?"  

[nerves end]

"It should, or at least I'll have little to no competition for the title of King."  

[Deadly Nightshayde]

"What about you Trendy? Any resolutions this year?"  

[nerves end]

"Other than my life, or is it unlife, long resolution to not make not make New Year Resolutions. No, not really."  

[Eisoji]

"Well the only resolution I have is to see someone. I'm trying to lose a bit of weight but I've been working on it since before December so I don't think that counts."  

[Deadly Nightshayde]

"Bit of a paradox isn't it?" Deadly chuckled. "As for me, I don't ever make resolutions. I hate disappointing myself when I don't keep them."

"Well the only resolution I have is to see someone. I'm trying to lose a bit of weight but I've been working on it since before December so I don't think that counts."

"I think it can count. There aren't any rules about what does and doesn't count when it comes to resolutions."

It has been the new year for me now for an hour. The party has wound down it would seem.

"I suppose so. I just want to get rid of my extra stomach flab."

Deadly said to Luciano, "I think I heard something about the party going on until the 3rd. There should be more joining in the festivities tomorrow."
