Raiding run update:
Damn green zombies ate up all my 5.5 ammo so I had to use my browning HP. Luckily I bought that flak jacket. It saved my a**.

If your in a street it is best to use melee. They stop before they swing so as long as you keep a steady pace backwards and keep swinging while keeping an eye out for other zombies coming up from behind, you should do alright. If you in a building, I would suggest running.

Try fighting 3 in the street. God I ended up dying and losing 500+ dollars.

I use melee mainly and I often take on many zombies at a time, including fighting in the smaller rooms in buildings.

Are you shooting while looting? Noise increases aggro, which could be why your getting swarmed.

Evasion or melee is usually the best tactic when looting, or so I've found.
Evasion is generally better to keep the aggro. low, but sometimes they just block your path or something.

yeah, I've only found 16g when I was in the deep purple area. 20g isn't a problem to find though.
