Sabel was watching the fight with some confusion, was the beast one of them? If it was why was The Great Sephiroth apparently so fed up with it. Speaking of The Chosen One, what was he doing in the battle arena? Shouldn't they be eliminating that traitor Cloud-niisan? Or calling upon the Calamity From the Skies once again? Why was their infallable Lord playing fun and games, granted this wasn't any ordinary Battle Arena match-up, but it was still something well within her Lord's capabilities to smite all of these without working up a sweat.

Fenrir barely waited for the gondola to come to a stop. He grabbed Trista's hand and leaped to the platform without even looking were Zach stood smugly with Aeris. The Turk was out of the Round and to the station with Trista being dragged, willingly or not. Arriving at the Battle Arena he leaped up the stairs two at a time and fairly crashed into the lobby.

He paused breathlessly for a momment looking this way and that, looking for someone who might know something. He marched up to the young lady behind the desk and demanded, " I need to get into the arena."

Trista stood by Fenrir. She glanced at Fenrir hearing what he said, she quickly added a "please" To the end of his sentance. She looked around. The other people in the lobby where stareing at Trista and Fenrir. Trista wanted to hide. To manny people where looking at them, she didnt want to turn invisible so she scooted closer to Fenrir, feeling alittle better.

The very air seemed to shimmer momentarily as Sephiroth reappeared before the King Behemoth, he released a slow breath as he veiwed the beast dispassionately. At the moment it clawed furiously at it's own neck, thrashing violently in an attempt to dislodge the cat whose fangs still grappled it's neck. It would only be a short matter of time before the Monster succeeded. The floating feeling faded slightly as Sephiroth's mind whirled, everything clicked slowly into place as his opening shone like a beacon to his trained mind. The beast threw it's head down, trying to scrape Sadira off on the sand, and in that moment Sephiroth launched forward landing hard on the behemoth's head and driving his blade into the narrowest part of the beast's neck, right where it met the skull. He grunted with the effort as he wedged the metal between the edges of two peices of spinal column, and with another wrench he split the bones apart. The monster abruptly went limp, only an unpleasant hiss as the last of it's breath left it's body. Eyes glazing as it's considerable weight sank into the ground. Leaving the sword for the moment Sephiroth leapt from the great neck to the ground, eyes darting about for some sign of the young feline who had helped him.

Zach found heat rising to his face as he stared at Aeris, then he smiled boyishly, as if she'd just offered him icecream. "Yeah! I'd love to!" He decided happily, He glanced around, and offered her his arm as they both moved to leave the tram. When he noticed Fenrir outside, he couldn't resist giving the Turk a broad smug grin, when he thought Aeris wasn't looking. Nothing had actually happened, but Fenrir didn't need to know that.

"So um...was there anywhere you were hoping to go next? I'd hate to be keeping you from other plans." The young flower girl coaxed. She wasn't really sure what to make of Zach yet, so what better way than to find out where his interests lay.

Sabel watched her lord finish off the beast with a smug grin. Ah so he was only toying with his prey, that made sense. Was there anything about him that wasn't so stunningly magnificent, truly his brilliant mind was a wonderous thing far beyond her own simple manner of cognition.

It was all a rush of blood and sand and pain. Several momments passed before Sadira realized the beast was dead. Relinquishing her grim hold on it's neck Sadira started to take stock of her situation. It was dark, and she felt cramped. She was trapped between the creature's massive foreleg and neck. She wriggled vainly trying to work herself out, her left back paw was strangely unresponsive, it didn't hurt... but it didn't quite feel right.

Fenrir did not wait for the women's reply. The gates opened signaling the end of the match and the young Turk made a run for it dodging exiting spectators not even listening as they commented on the oddness of the match. He found a suitable location and from there scrambled down to the sand in the midst of calls from Gold Saucer employees. He hit the sand running and did not stop until he was embracing a very dazed Garm and then began checking his twin for injury all while carrying on a running diatribe against such irresponsable actions.

Garm broke away from his brother and stumbled towards the carcass of the beast. With uncertain, lurching steps he made his way to the thing. Once he reached the massive corpse, he began to look around franticaly, calling, "Kitty." Fenrir blanched, the damage must be worse than he thought Garm had obviously hit his head or something, he wasn't himself.

Noting the young Turk's frantic searching Sephiroth strode over to where they all crowded, he still felt oddly detatched from himself, he spotted the slightest scrabbling under the blood-soaked neck, without really thinking about it the Great General slipped forward between the twins, grabbing a thick handful of fur and slick crimson flesh and heaved. Muscles bulged under moistened black leather... though most of the blood was from his enemies. The neck rose several feet clearing the ground almost completely, and Sephiroth held it there without over-much difficulty while he turned to Garm, "Well?" His green gaze seemed indifferent and bored.

Just as the twins were assisting Sadira, the arena flooded with officious looking uniformed men, who began insisting that both turks and the injured young cat remove themselves from the arena. Pointing out that none of them had registered for these series of fights and their continued interferance would not be tollerated.

Sephiroth watched on with a peculiar look of annoyance, why were they suddenly enforcing the rules NOW?

Zack had to pause and think about it for a moment, "Well... we could always swing by Battle Square! Just to see what kinds of opponents they have at the moment." He grinned boyishly, and shifted the gigantic sword on his back for emphasis.

Saerenna realized what she was doing and pried her hands away from the bar, shaking them to get rid of stiffness and return circulation to her fingers. They seemed alright, especially Sephiroth. It was like he was inhuman...well, he kinda was. She looked around, wondering where the control box or area might be. There was probably little she could do herself, though.

Garm spotted a patch of white wiggling in the midst of the massive carcass. With a cry of joy he lept down and began to pull Sadira from the midst of the corpse. She seemed a little worse for wear, Garm anxiously helped her to the center of the ring. He'd concieved an odd sort of affection for the feline.

" Are you all right, kitty?" he asked concerned at the odd movement of one of her back paws. Fenrir watched in amazment as Garm proceeded to dig out a giant CAT. He was utterly dumbfounded. What the heck was his brother doing with a giant cat and General Sephiroth. He was just about to turn and apologize to said individual when a troop of officials burst on the scene and all began talking and ordering at once. To add to the confusion the cat (apparently it was a TALKING cat) and Garm began to explain.

Sadira surrendered gratefully to the aid of the man. She limped along taking in the scenery, at least the monsters had stopped coming. Standing there however was someone who looked exactly like her comrade in arms. Only he seemed content in staring at her as if she was some sort of zoo exhibit. She was opening her mouth to comment when she was rudely ordered to leave. To this verbal assult she began explaining her presence.

Sephiri entered the Golden Saucer, her 'brother' trailing behind her. She looked at the directory, sighing as she noticed Fu walking off on his own.

" Stay," she said simply, making a mental note about the location of the Chocobo Races. She had plans to enter them today.

"But....Sister..." he pouted at her, then pulled the hood of his cloak lower over his face. He stood patiently, waiting for her to move.

" No buts, Fu. Come on, I need to register," She grabbed his hand, dragging him off.

It was only at about this point in time that a certain young theif boy began to reconsider his stolen goods. Now that he had it, what should he do with it all? As he sat on his veritable mountain of wealth, he shrugged, and decided to leave it to fate. After all, there would probably still be something left when he got back to it, no one would be able to carry all of it.

Sephiri registered for the next race, leaning against a wall, looking at the floor. Her silver hair covered her face, but somehow she knew that Fu was pestering people about 'Mother'.

" Fu, get over here and stop bugging that child!"

"And that's who Mother is...." He said to the child, who looked traumatized. He then waved cheerily, walking over to Sephiri, standing next to her.

"Sorry, Sister."
