Star Wars: Hunter's Mark

[Nelowulf]

The spheres flew back, the first one exploding nearby the chiss, but the other flung back and hitting the owner in full force.

(Stellar takes seven damage; everyone roll initiative)

"Grenades!"

Aurora ducked down into the door jam as the blast wave washed over her and she called on the Force to add her comrades in battle.

Nurak charged forward swinging his lightsaber at the enemy reaching out with the force hoping to ensure contact with the enemy.  

[Des Voh]

As the sounds of combat raised, Darr'ghul Odjin grinned, switching the settings to his carbine back to default, he took what cover he could in the doorway to the storage closet and fired down the hall past the charging dar'jetii at the assailants.  

[Nelowulf]

Watching the Chiss swing, only to be dodged by the oversized thug, he watched as they began to open up in close quarters at him. The first didn't make much, being caught off by the blasterbolt that flew at him and connected. Seeing his chance, Dev leveled his bluebolt, squeezing the trigger with calm poise, and made sure he wouldn't be responding soon, as another hit the chestplate.  

[Des Voh]

Dar felt an intense burning pain from the blaster wound along his side, something that was becoming rather too recurrent today. Cursing, he slipped back out of his cover to fire down at his target again, felling him. Another grin spread over the feeorin's face as he slipped himself back into the cover of the storage room.  

[Nelowulf]

Dev leveled and beaded another sight on the next biggest threat, and fired, right as the blasterbolts skimmed by the room.

"Gotcha hard that time, didn't it?" he asked rhetorically.

Nurak fell back to a room along the hallway. He should have paid more attention to lightsaber training, this was ridiculous, he couldn't possibly live down nearly getting vaped by a bunch of thugs.  

[Des Voh]

Grunting at his boss, the mando slipped out from his cover, a new target in his scope's reticule and fired, another confirmed hit, but not a kill shot."We taking any prisoners?" Darr asked rather flatly as he took cover once more.  

[Nelowulf]

"Only if you're going to carry them. The whole place knows we're here," Dev said, squeezing a blasterbolt off and killing another one. "Thanks to the meatshield, they also know over half of what we carry..."

Watching the Mando miss, the remaining thug bolted, footsteps echoing down the hallway, Dev pulled his pistol back, and refreshed the power pack in it.

"Well, they know we're here. Patch up and move out boys, we ain't got time to lose. They'll surely hole up and get stronger further inside."  

[Des Voh]

The pain in his side was fading thankfully, but it still hurt like hell, he took a moment to right himself and catch a breath.(moving 1 step up the condition track) As he walked down the hallway, he took the heavy blaster with his holster he had liberated from the Black Sun officer and pushed it into the chiss's hands."Since you cant hit with that big glowing stick, use this." Then he went to work ridding the bodies of anything useful, regretting that he couldn't make good use of the heavy repeater that lay on the ground beside the two of them.

Nurak stepped out into the hall and glanced at the others. "I suppose we should go after them before they setup more surprises for us."  

[Nelowulf]

"We'll split up. I'll take the right side, the rest of you take the left. I'll try to disrupt any flanking patterns that may be set up and in motion. I'm sure you can handle yourselves. Aurora, you lead, anyone has a problem with that, take it up at the billing office," Dev said rather flatly.  

[K-Blade]

“Roger that.” Aurora frowned, emerging out form cover, her unlit
lightsaber held in a one-handed grip as she cautiously started to lead the way down the hall.

Nurak nodded as he followed her, saber out and at the ready. "After getting a face full of tibanna I'll be glad for someone else to take the lead."
