I could never draw hip bones correctly, so all of my Raziels looked like they were in adult diapers...

I find that the best way to not make him look like he's wearing diapers is to do a dark patch in the middle, with highlights around the top edges of the hips.

I quickly doodled this up for you so you can see what I mean.

I do hand drawn so I just make a big difference in the spine (very narrow) and put holes in the hip bones.

I've tried something similar, it's just been forever since I've even attempted to draw him. I'll try again some time soon. I'm in class right now during a break.

To me, Raziel always looked like his spine was extra wide, or he had two or something. I assumed it was because he had wings.
