[EVENT] Hide and seek - Open!

The leopardess wondered how so many cubs had gotten lost. Were they all from the same litter and something had happened to the mother after she'd put them in hiding? Maybe they were being hunted! Maybe she was part of the hunting party!! No, that wasn't likely at all. There was much too worry and concern with the way the leopards all searched. She sat down and scratched her head. Well, wherever she'd just sat, they weren't here.  

[Syrius Lionwing]

"CUUBBSSSSS!" She screeches in to the air flapping her wings as she rose once again in to the air. "Where are you you silly pieces of fluff!?!"  

[Feral Mule]

The more time she spent finding the cubs, the more she was sure they were playing hide and seek. Only they didn't realize how good they were. No one could find them if they kept moving around. Laughing, she took this a bit slower, figuring no one's life was in danger anymore.

Ligeia sighed. She wasn't that great of a hunter, but she figured she'd be able to find one of four cubs within a not too broad search area. Well, she'd been proven wrong. She fiddled with one of the radio's dials absentmindedly. If only the she could hear gods and they could guide her to the lost cubs. She sighed again, stood, and carried on searching.

Taking a break fromt he search, the golden eagle dropped fromt he sky on to a scuttling mouse that had obviously been disturbed by the searching predators. "Well this searching isn't a complete waste at least."  

[Feral Mule]

Ah, she spotted some purple around here, didn't she? Grinning, Siya got down on the ground and kept walking, looking under bushes and trees, peeking between the roots. She was basically looking everywhere she used to hide when she was a cub. "Come out, come out..."  

[Fairy Snails]

This spot just seemed right, Macaria thought as he didn't move from his previous spot. The cubs had to be here. He had a strong feeling about it. "Cubs it's okay. I promise no one will hurt you. We are all really worried about you." His voice was gentle. 'If I could I would slap ever single one of them.' his dark side thought, but Macaria just ignored it.

He pushed back the grass and looked, but still no luck. It was best if he tried a different spot, he decided.

When Ligeia didn't find any cubs again, she thumped her tail on the ground in frustration. "Hmmm..." She narrowed her eyes, wondering just how well these cubs' natural camouflage had to be in order to hide them so well. Little did she know, three of them were actually very sore thumbs. She snorted and put her nose to the ground. Maybe a different strategy would work.

Moving back to the tree tops the golden bird nestled down for a break. She needed some time for her wings to stop aching. Silly cubs! Silly foolish cubs!

Ligeia snuffed and huffed like a wild dog. Not that she really knew what she was doing. If she wanted to properly scent the area like a cat, she would have wrinkled her nose and used her Jacobson's organ to take in scent particles. Not that she knew what that was, either. She didn't really much like to make that face, it wasn't very cute, and besides. The area was littered with leopard scent now from everyone looking. It'd probably be best to go back to a visual search. She turned her attention to finding a proper tree.

Much to her dismay, no cubs seemed to want to come out of hiding, even for just an instant. Pouting a little, she continued to look around, like she had been. Nose pressed to the dirt, snorting dust up every once in a while and sighed. This was beginning to get annoying.

Jazi had never really been interested in joining a pride but he was not the type to ignore a frantic call even if it had come from one. The leopard dropped from the tree where he'd been napping and promptly made his way towards the distant sounds. It didn't take long for Jazi to find the large group of felines - more of his kind than the young leopard had ever seen in his life - and with a brief exchange of words here and there, he became aware of their predicament. Missing cubs. Never a good start of the day.

In his usual quiet demeanor, Jazi set out to find the little ones that had lost their way. That was his only purpose in the area and so he avoided contacted with the other leopards for the most part.

She tilted her head. Then again, maybe a tree wouldn't be so great. Cubs would probably be hiding in the thick undergrowth, wouldn't they? She got low to the ground and began to slink along. Hopefully no one would step on her by accident, her black back lent itself well to blending in to the dark jungle floor.

He didn't move too far from his last spot. The area just seemed to be what was calling him. Perhaps when he was younger he played in this area and that's what drew him to the spot. That would make sense, he decided. As he looked he wondered if maybe he should just take a nap and hope someone finds the cubs soon. It would be selfish of him if he did so, but who said he couldn't be selfish? He stretched his body. Soon he would just find a quiet spot and rest. Maybe somewhere in the temple.

It was really disheartening that all the time she spent on tracking out in the rogue lands seemed to be useless in this situation. Her brows knitted tightly as she slowed her pace down and sighed heavily. She was thinking about giving up now..
