And if you havent watched it yet, I'd say you are superiorly lucky. :3 I can assume you didn't like it? Surely. I didn't. Most people I know said it was pretty good. Except TMZ criticized captain America for not eating the Arab food in one scene.
There has been better action/adventure movies, in my opinion, this seemed sort of like a fanservice than a movie. For example: Watchmen, Sin City, The Dark Knight, The Book of Eli.
The emotional scenes were half-baked, there seemed to be a deus ex machina everytime there's danger. Too much of unnecessary drama. The villains seemed to be one-dimensional. And most of the dialogue was a sort of personality crash between Captain America and Iron Man. The last few scenes were all that stole the glory. But I feel, Iron Man's ending seen should have had a little more suspense to it. It looked very....artificial...The humour was okay. Ohh, and did I mention Loke and Thor's costumes ? Eww.
The only thing I found extra-ordinary was how the movie challenged Godliness in the form of Loke and Thor. But didnt go too deep into that. It could have been the main story-point.
Everything looked sort of easy...
Half-an-hour within the movie, I was feeling like getting out. |

The leaves danced, teasingly. Fluttering a few delightful, graceful steps - one, two on her window. In a swirl of gold and red they were gone, the wind ushering them towards a naked forest.
In her own hands, she held her forest. This one would bloom all year round, persistent wood lying motionless and still. Beckoning.
So she took it up, smelling sparkling sunlight and tree sap, a faint hint of old bark. A dove on her fingertips, one foot upon a branch. Poised. Agile. Almost fearful in excitement. Graceless, teetering balance, ready to tumble at the wind's first breath.
And tumble it did. Like a flock of enraged birds screeching bloody murder, autumn's ugly rust fell to the floor.
Melodic? Hardly.
She gave a rueful laugh, if only to reassure herself. Try again. Chin held high. The wind would carry her, fly her over the bare treetops. On smooth strings, it flowed liquid like a creek. Pure and high, spring's first call. She soared, the wood sang.
Then the ugly hues were back, raw and rusty under the dead air. A pause. Another attempt. The shining gold of sunset skies were gone. Tantalising success, faded, already long gone.
"What'cha doing? Slaying chickens in there?"
The new wood groaned under the pressure. Too new. Too young. Anger coloured the now dull sunshine.
A glint of playful gold on the window, a straggler come to bid her farewell, until next time.
Gazed at her slowly, but steadily flourishing forest. Back to the bare one outside. She wondered how many autumns it would take her to join the forest in song.
