Matthew smiled cheerfully as he slid across the ice. He melted some of it and bent the water into a whip. He whipped Em on the side quickly like he was teasing her as she was playing a sitting duck.

 Em had to admit she had never faced someone like him. She was clearly getting impressed by his tactics. 'Well there are no rules are there?' She thought as she smiled knowing what to do now. Feeling herself getting whipped she quickly went down onto her knees, then banged her palms into the ice. Trying to break the ice.

Matthew unfroze the ice and held all the water in the air. Now he would let her try to attack him. He kept his stance light like he was taught by his friend. He trusted Em wouldn't try to fatally injure him and he wouldn't hurt her either.

Em looked up towards Matt. She looked towards him. 'Go easy on him remember go easy' Thinking to herself as she stomped on the ground shifting her weight to her left leg. She pushed the rock hitting him down. Going for another attack, she looked towards him. 'Why can't I attack him like he did to me? Or like how I attack my other opponents' She thought as she tried to attack, but she couldn't.

Matthew dodged easily and was slightly puzzled. He had seen her earthbend harder earlier. Was she just going easy on him? He twisted the water around and hit her in the gut, but it wasn't a strong blast, only a minor setback.

Looking at Matt, she got hit in the gut. She had to focus. Looking towards the ground, she skated onto the ground as she approached him, she then stomped onto the ground sending side ways pillars at him shooting out lightly.

Matthew got hit in the leg and stumbled back. He wasn't ready for that one. He got the water ready again and thrust his arm forward, the water shooting towards Em's head. At the last possible second, he looped it around her instead and the water rushed towards the back of her knees.

Feeling her knees looped around water, she shifted her body into earth armor to protect herself.

The water splashed against the earth and Matthew withdrew slightly. He would have to hit a little harder with that armor. He pulled the water back and ran forward. At the moment he got in front of Em, he pushed the water forward, aiming for her stomach again. It wouldn't hurt as much with that rock, he figured.

Getting hit on where her stomach was, but it deflected. Em looked towards Matt, she blushed at how focused he was. She hopped he wouldn't notice. Breaking up the armor, she stomped then kicked the rock into his direction.

 Aoi circled above the two on her glider. She had lost them in the crowd initially, but now she had them in her sights again, and was content to simply fly above them as she watched, studying their movements. The two of them were pretty graceful in their movements, and Aoi couldn't help but smile down at them. The two of them would be fine on their own.. And maybe she could practice her bending in the park. Giggling, she looped back, soaring off. [Exit to Park]

Matthew evaded the rock with a quick flip and then kicked a ball of water at Em, hoping to at least hit her body somewhere.

Em got hit on her shoulder. Losing her concentration as she sent her boulder into a wall. Looking towards Matt, she refocused. Lifting her foot up she stomped onto the ground sending an earthquake from all around them.

Matthew lost his footing as the earthquake rumbled beneath him. He fell to the ground but gave a swift kick of water as he fell. Hopefully he'd make contact. He hit the ground a little harder than expected and took a sharp breath. He laid on the ground, vulnerable. Water was pooled around him and he tried to catch his breath.

Em saw what she had just caused. "Oh gawd!" She ran towards Matt, she had promised herself that she would have gone easy on him. But looking at him now, she was worried. "Oh my gosh.. Matt are you alright?" Her voice was evident with worry. "I'm so sorry.. I didn't know I would hurt you this much" Tears started to come to her eyes, she was afraid.
