Because of the line, it took Hikaru seven minutes before she could finally occupy one of the stalls. Once she was done peeing and flushing the toilet, she combed her hair through the mirror near the sink. Her cheeks were slightly rosy, though the dark circles were also visible because of her lack of sleep during the busy days. God, she should fix her sleeping schedule. Once she was done tidying up, she returned to Ansgar, ready to go to another place since they were both done watching the movie.
"Now, you pick on where to go next." As mutual friends, they should definitely take turns. Or maybe, they had become more than friends now. Hikaru was uncertain about that, having to calm herself down because of the strange feeling that bloomed in her chest.

The lighting set in the rafters above gradually became dim as the movie previews at the front of the room began. Crossing his ankles one upon the other, the reaper set his feet upon the top rail of the chair a row in front of him and began to whistle over the series of over-telling promotional clips. Alexus often told himself he'd be back to see choice movies on their premiering day; that was a lie, as he had never been the ‘sit still’ type to enjoy long hours of sub-par film. Nevertheless, without something solid to make the hours tangible, his sense of time began to skew. Lately, the reaper most often found himself at the cinema in his predawn attempts to kill the time, specifically those seven to ten hours once occupied by a mortal need to sleep. It was apart of the immortal package deal, granted there were worse cons to being deathless than losing track of time. There was also Rylee whom would possibility feel most significantly uncomfortable with his abandonment of their household. It hadn’t been like this for a long time now, but he was once again gone at all insane hours of the day and night- she’d suspect he was out sleeping around and making trouble like in the early days of their relationship, and technically, long before then too. He’d be back before she woke, Alex assured himself. The trouble just wasn’t worth it, so if he could cover it up, he would. Hell, at least he wasn’t really doing anything bad; just spending a few bucks for some late night showings of whatever. Could she still even miss him now that she was working a nine to five rather than spending that time at home counting how long he was gone for? He hoped not; her damn cat was too hostile to be around, anyway. So hopefully, hopefully, she would simply...never notice that he was gone. If he were ever late he would bring her breakfast, and for all she’d know he’d only have done a sweet gesture.
Starting behind his side swept bangs, Alex raked his hair back with his fingers and sighed through the chilly theater air. He was basically a walking corpse, so the cold didn’t mean much but to accentuate his new cold blooded nature. Without bothering him personally, it was a hassle to startle anyone he brushed by by chance. He clung his jacket closer, ready to slip it on in the scenario he was joined not only in the same theater, but in the same row by some warm thriving body. His temperature would acclimate with it on, again, not making a difference to anyone but those he so happened to touch.
