The signal had occurred. The Drake Class's were in ranged and began targeting the Uzumi Nara Shipyard Facilities.
6 x Torpedo Launcher's from all three ship's began firing onto the facility.

As the missiles hit there targets within the shipyard and nearby facilities. Michael was thrown by in his seat as the whole ship began to shake from the explosions.

The explosions threw Natalie foward in the Captain's chair.A grin had appeared on Natalie's face. She watched as the ceremony went into flames. She looked around the bridge.

As the alarms went off and people began to panic, Hazuko entered the usual calm demeanor he had whenever combat arose. "It's the perimeter. I believed we wouldn't have this happening, but it seems anythings possible in this decade. You!" he called out to an Orb soldier who ran up to them. "I need to contact Lieutenants Autumn and Taiki, get me a radio phone!" As the soldier left, he turned back to the Prime minister. "Don't worry Lord Mochizuki, I've prepared for something of this event beforehand." he reassured him before facing the crowd. "It is merely a perimeter alarm, no need for panic! Please return to the shuttles, the escort ships will -"
He was cut off by the sound of explosions across the shipyard and more screams by the crowd, including a threat against the EA president. The ceiling above the stage collapse under the weight of the storage room above them, falling onto the stage. Hazuko was saved from any fatal injury, but his legs were trapped under rubble, and the pain was excruciating. He gave a quick look for the Prime Minister, but couldn't see him with the rubble, and the soldier returned with a radio phone. "Finally. Uzumi Nara, prepare for emergency launch! Lieutenant Taiki! Respond!" As he removed his hand from the receiver, he ordered the soldier again "Get the representatives to the Uzumi Nara!" With explosions throughout the facility, it was best for them to be on the new Fujin, rather than the unprotected shuttles. Besides, they might have already been destroyed.
Name: Haru Hazuko Genetic Type: Natural Rank: Commander Position: Uzumi Nara Captain Background & Personality: A true commander of Orb, Haru Hazuko has been a loyal Orb soldier since he could sign up. Before the advent of the M1 Astray, he was proud of the Orb's military might and felt it could defend against ZAFT or the Earth Forces without mobile suits. When the invasion of Orb happened, he was proven wrong and focused on generating his own anti-mobile suits tactics. Some of which were successful, and he was promoted to Commander by the end of the second war. He was selected as the Orb military's first choice to captain the Fujin, and he recommended his long-time crewmember Ryuu Taiki to transfer onto the ship as well. With Haru's experience, the recommendation was accepted.
Unlike his subordinate, Haru is a very serious and strict military commander. While he knows about the cost of war, he also believes war is sometimes a necessary evil. He holds a dislike for the Earth Alliance and ZAFT after each invasion on the Orb homeland. He also smokes often and has an occasional drink for celebrations. With his knowledge of the previous major gundam projects, he was the biggest supporter and influence on Project H(inode), and remained paranoid all the way to the launch ceremony. Appearance:
The Zala Loyalists mobile suits began their high speed approach to the Shipyard, able to bypass the escorts before they could fire their weapons. Several lights on the outside flipped off, most likely from the alarm system. They focused on firing at the shuttles, cutting off the politicians from their path of retreat. They could only hope the few agents inside would finish off the survivors and retreat unscathed. After destroying them, they turned their beam weapons to the Uzumi Nara over to the Fujin-class, their objective to sink it prematurely. Their beam cannons couldn't do it by themselves, as the team forgot the ship was made of Laminated armor, rather than standard. Some prepared to fire their high-explosive multi-launchers at the ship, but before the lock-on finished, beam fire interrupted them.

Ryuu, along with the technicians from the hangar, went into a sealed viewing area to watch the ceremony continue. They watched as the Taeru rose up and lifted off for the event, the technicians applauding for their success of the Taeru units. Before Ryuu could join in the cheering however, explosions rang through the facility. "Get the suits on!" They had reinforced glass, but even that could be destroyed with enough pressure, and surely some corridors were breached. "Get to the Uzumi!" he shouted. One of the engineers held a radiophone to the Lt, and once he took it he heard Hazuko's voice. LT Taiki here! I'm evacuating the engineers now sir! Some of are Taeru are shooting at the others!" he reported as he saw the green beam fire originate from some of the Taeru.
Name: Ryuu Taiki (23) Genetic Type: Coordinator Rank: Lieutenant Position: Uzumi Nara XO Background & Personality: Ryuu was an orphan at the age of 7, and since his parents customized his appearance , he wasn't adopted for a few years. As a Coordinator, he was advanced in schooling, but was ridiculed by natural children and their parents who condoned coordinators. He joined the military of Orb sometime after the events of Bloody Valentine in fear of Orb's inclusion as the war dragged on. While he was acceptable as an Astray pilot, his suit was destroyed on the first day of fighting and he choose to become a crewmen instead. Serving with a man named Hazuko, he was able to survive the first and second Bloody Valentine wars. He gained the rank of Lieutenant with Hazuko's personal request for him to be his XO on the Uzumi Nara.
Ryuu believes deeply in Orb's motto, but also thinks if someone has the ability to help others, they should whether it involves them or not. With the shock of his experience, he gets shaky when piloting a mobile suit. He also holds a grudge against Blue Cosmos for his parent's death. He often listens to music to calm himself down, or concentrate. Appearance:
The Ghost of Cosmos pilots believed everything was going to plan, but when the red lights flashed throughout the facility, they believed their agents were caught red handed. When explosions occurred throughout the facility however, they each had different thoughts on the current situation. "This is Phantom 1, prepare to mobilize!" the leader order the other six GoC pilots. With the systems already active, it was easy to quickly accelerate their Taeru units and leave the three Orb units hovering just over the Taeru hangar. The leader contacted their mothership "Thixo! This is Phantom 1, we're accelerating the plan. Prepare to recieve the Taeru!" Two turned to fire upon the other Taeru units, particularly the active ones, while the other five began to fire on the approaching CORTZ units. "DIE SPACE SCUM!"
Outside of the shipyard, the Drake - class ships activated their Positron Reflectors, creating an umbrella of protection while it's mobile suits deployed behind the shield. Not even the fabled Lohengrin cannons could penetrate these three umbrellas, as they began to move towards the escort ships. They might not be able fire their weapons to the front, but this was the age of mobile suits, and the Strike variants behind the shields would not be destroyed before they entered combat range. Once in range, the mobile suit's peeked out around the circle, firing quickly at the escort ships in an attempt to destroy them before they could deploy their mobile suits. They were too late, before they were in firing range the carriers opened their catapults and their pilots, eager to protect their nations leaders, launched with confidence.
In truth, the escort ships were never meant to be used in conbat. While they were loaded with mobile suits, they hoped this would just remain a ceremony and not be deployed. The threat of the Ghost of Cosmos or Zala Loyalists acting against either homeland required their top aces to remain there, but the current pilots had enough to protect the nations leaders should the need arise. They never expected this many ships to reveal themselves, and once the alarms rang out, the pilots boarded their Zakus, GOUFs, Dagger Ls and Windams. While they were using older models, the terrorist faction pilots' conviction was enough to even the scales. Even the Ootsugata and M1A Astrays were more concerned over the Cosmos than the Loyalist mobile suits speeding towards the shipyard.

The first thing Yaichiro was aware of was a steady tone in his ears, and a warm dampness on his cheek. He opened his eyes to see chaos as reality struggled to come into focus and the muffled cries and alarms steadily re-entered his hearing. He stayed down until he became aware of his surroundings and reconstructed what likely happened.
Having been among those to salute, Yaichiro was outside a machine when an attack clearly happened. He'd been thrown clear by a blast and crashed into a maintenance cart...which was better than the corpses around him had fared. How many were pilots? How many were engineers or guests? He didn't have time to try to identify their uniforms among the dust and the red. The pilot's vision and hearing gradually clearing, the lightly wounded but not immobilized pilot noted the attack by some of the Taeru and started to make sense of the situation. Rolling to the cover of the knocked over cart he'd slammed into, he drew his side arm and started to rush for where the other Taeru were stored when an opportunity arose. He needed to get to his Mobile Suit. He watched for both enemies and wounded, to kill or aid along the way respectively. If some recognizable guests or heads of state were cut off from escape, he might even need to let someone in the cockpit while fighting in the worst case...
Name: Yaichiro Kage, 20 Genetic Type: Coordinator Rank: Lieutenant, Junior Grade Position: Uzumi Nara Mobile Suit Pilot Background & Personality: Having lost his family during the First Bloody Valentine War and having no other prospects in spite of his fine academics, Yaichiro signed up for the Orb military to help deter a second invasion of Orb when he finished school. He realized that little had been settled with permanence in the conflict and soon found his fears confirmed. Not long after finishing his training, he found himself participating in the Second Bloody Valentine War as a MVF-M11C Murasame Pilot. He proved to be a good all-purpose pilot, having a predisposition for ranged combat but refusing to let his melee skills suffer as a result. His actions during the war promoted him a grade and would eventually see him assigned to the Uzumi Nara. Appearance:

Beginning their assault, Spencer closes in to the station and proceeds to snipe down anything that goes outside of it, which is most likely the bigwigs that are quick on their feet. He'd notice federation-born ships firing at the station, most likely one of those old b*tthurt natural warband.
He's not going to cut it with 'the enemy of my enemy is my friend' on this one. Not with all those nukes they've set in the past. " This is Rabbit-4, I'll keep those sore losers at bay. " he relayed over to his nearby allies.
" C'mere, short-necked giraffes. Your short tree is up. " he muttered before he turned his unit towards the incoming dagger-types and began firing his longrange beam cannon at the formation, trying to trim their numbers before they could return fire, or at least throw their formation into chaos.
Name: Spencer Halkelin Genetic Type: Coordinator Rank: Lieutenant Position: MS Pilot Background & Personality: A calm but rather foul-mouthed marksman, experienced his first combat during Operation Spitbreak, remained in service until the end of the second war. At first, It was not until 'Break The World' that he's aware of those loyal to the previous chairman banding together, which he'd then defect to upon the rise of Lacus Clyne successing Durandal along with quite an amount of others. The eruption of explosions around the Uzumi Nara caused Sammy to bump his head onto his monitor. "Ow" Sammy looked on his screen to find multiple area's of the shipyard on fire.
"Lt.! Dock 7 is on fire, I suggest we begin to seal off all docking area's to the ship before the fire can spread."
Name: Sammy Hikaru Genetic Type: Coordinator Rank: Ensign Position:Fire Controls Officer on board the Uzumi Nara Background: Sammy Hikaru and his family were natives from Japan. During the first bloody Valantine war, Japan got more involved with the EA. Conscription started to happen. The Hikaru Family then moved to the Neutral nation of Orb. Later to face an invasion by the Earth Forces. Sammy's Big sister and father were part of the defending forces at Onogoro island. They both lost there lives while waiting for remaining forces to retreat to the Kaguya mass driver. Now year 75 of the Cosmic Era, Sammy is now assigned as Fire Controls Officer on board the Uzumi Nara. In hopes of honoring his sister, dad and late mom.
