"Thank you," Keiko said meekly before taking the towel and drying herself off with it gently. 'We appreciate your hospitality. It's been kinda crazy crossing this route today."
Toren would also thank the woman as he took his own towel, promptly drying himself off. Boy was he glad to be inside a building and out of nature for once.
"Yeah, this route is known to be one of the more trialing paths a trainer can take in the Hoenn region. Are you two on a journey? Collecting gym badges?" The woman asked.

"Not really," Keiko shrugged. "Toren's going to Lilycove to catch his next ship, while I'm heading to Mossdeep to visit my boyfriend. We're just travelling together until we get to Lilycove."

"Oh, well you two still have a ways to go, don't you?" The lady said. Toren just nodded in response.
"Well, why don't I officially welcome you to the Weather Institute?" She smiled. "Here we keep close track of Hoenn's climate and weather pattern, charged with interpreting collected data and devising plans to combat natural disasters. Did you know one of our scientists even made a Pokemon here? Ever heard of the Pokemon Castform? That's one of our greatest achievements!" The woman said with pride.

"Wow!" Keiko exclaimed, not knowing it was possible to create Pokemon. "What does it look like?"

"Castform!" A tiny little greyish pixie-like Pokemon chimed as it appeared behind the receptionist.
"Like this!" The woman said with a laugh as she presented the Castform. "Castform is unique in that it can alter its form based on the current weather. We designed three different forms, one for bright sun, one for rain, and one for snow."

"Awwh! It's really cute!" Keiko cooed, surprised by the sudden appearance of Castform. She leaned forward to get a closer look at the Pokemon, smiling widely as she did so.
"Looks funky to me, yo." Toren commented as he squinted its eyes at the strange creature, the Castform squirting a weak Water Gun at his face, the man retreating back and attempting to wipe his face off with the towel provided earlier.
The Weather Pokemon was a little friendlier to Keiko as she leaned in, the tiny creature doing a little midair dance for her as it bounced up and down, giving off a weak Powder Snow around it for a sparkling effect.
"As you can see this one is a bit of a showster." The receptionist said with a smile.

Keiko couldn't help but giggle when Toren got squirted with Water Gun, but didn't have time to retort before Castform put on its display, to which Keiko clapped. She couldn't tell how much effort it put into that, but she was appreciative all the same.
Toren just shot Keiko a look after he finished drying his face off, not finding the whole thing as amusing.
As the Castform danced the woman looked at it and then Keiko, then back and forth again. "He seems to have taken a liking to you." She noted. "You must be a natural with Pokemon." She furthered made note.
"She kind of is, yo." Toren agreed. "They just seem to take to her."
"Is that so?" She said to Toren without turning away from Keiko. "Hm...would you like to meet our head researcher? The rest of the team is out doing field work but he should be upstairs in his office. I'm sure he would like to meet the both of you, he loves company."
"Form form!" The Castform chimed happily in response, getting behind Keiko and attempting to push her towards the stairs, also spitting a few Embers at Toren's feet to get him to move.
"Hey! Watch it bro!" The man complained as he jumped forward. The Weather Pokemon just laughed.

Keiko turned to face the Castform when she felt the heat from the Ember."Okay, once is enough," she said gently to the Castform, knowing that while spitting water is all in good fun, fire can actually hurt. "Give him another chance, okay? He's not that bad a guy,"
Keiko then faced the researcher. "That sounds nice. I wouldn't mind meeting him," she said with a smile.
"Castform, show them the way." The woman said to the little Weather Pokemon, the tiny creature giving a little nod before darting off, sticking its tongue out at Toren along the way.
"I don't like that thing, yo." Toren declared as he followed after the Castform, heading up a flight of stairs as they made their way to the second floor.
On the second floor the pair would find themselves in a long hallway, the Castform leading them to the second door on the left. Inside was an office and on the other side of a desk was a man which the Castform was dancing around happily.
"Figured I should be expecting company as soon as this particular Castform showed up. Come in." The man said as Toren poked his head in, the ex-Snagem stepping all the way in, admiring the shelves of books and assorted folders of documents. Was pretty neatly kept for a room packed with reading material.

"The latter, I'm afraid," Keiko said politely, slightly nudging Toren with her elbow as a non-verbal way of telling him to play along. "Though I wouldn't be adverse to learning about this establishment."
