Ryan stopped and blinked for a moment. He couldn't believe his eyes! It was actually a Cramorant! They did exist! And would you look at this! It was so busy trying to scoop up an Arroskewda, that it didn't even notice them! What even better luck!

"Sucker Punch!" Ryan orders. James gleefully dashes along the water and intercepts the Cramorant as it tried to Swallow the feisty fish it was trying to eat. The attack would send the Cramorant reeling, not expecting it's hunt to be interrupted. Once it gained orientation and saw who had interrupted it, it would start screaming at Ryan and James in outrage.

"Oh stow your bluster! James, Water Pulse!" Ryan orders. James would connect with yet another attack to the Cramorant, only working it up even more as it then charged forward with a Drill Peck. That did quite a bit of damage to James, but the Drizzile would hang in there and slap the Cramorant with another Water Pulse. The Cormorant had enough of that and used Dive. It was now a waiting game for the bird to resurface, and which it did, weakening James even more. But what it did as it finished was bizarre.

It attempted to eat James, but was no stuck on the Drizzile's head! This angered James so much that he would hit the Cramorant with a Sniper Water Pulse to dislodge it. The Cramorant rights it's self and starts to charge in with a Drill Peck when Lillie has her Clefairy use Heal Pulse on James as he dives in with his Sucker Punch.James is able to survive the attack and weaken the Cramorant even further.

The Cramorant, however, was not pleased with this turn of events and would charge after Clefariy. James would cut him off with a Sniper infused Water Pulse, sending the bird sprawling yet again. This time though, it would struggle mightily to get back up.

Ryan saw his opening. He would take grasp of his Safari Ball and toss it at the Cramorant, hoping that the fight had been drained out of it.

Keiko wasn't surprised when Milcery escaped the Safari Ball, but wasn't expecting the Fairy-type to immediately respond with a bright flash of pink light, its Dazzling Gleam forcing all three of them to try to protect their eyes. Stasy was quick to retaliate, however, jumping over Milcery and landing stomach-first on it via Body Slam.

As Stasy hopped back into standing position, Keiko could see the look of pain in Milcery's eyes. Keiko took this opportunity to throw a Heal Ball, hoping to spare the poor Fairy-type further punishment from Stasy.

Ryan slowly walks over and picks up the Dive Ball with the Cramorant in it. "Gotcha, ya crazy bird." he mutters and sits down as Lillie heals James up with Clefariy and Heal Pulse. After a few moments, Ryan stands back up.

"Let's go, Lillie. Ya did good." Ryan says as they walk out.

The Galarian Yamask came by and both Veronica and Vanta ambushed the Yamask. What, is that unfair? Well it's not something Veronica cares about when it comes to winning. Besides the fact that Vanta can only hold out for so long. Vanta started with bite as Veronica did her Night Shade move. It was easier on Vanta to continue with another bite to end the battle. "Good... We have one last bait. Let's try to stick this out for a bit longer." Veronica set the bait up across the area.

The two of us was staring in confusion as Tristen fretted trying to find that mystery Pokemon once again. Whatever the heck it was, it was clear that it was pretty much gone. "Tristen, if there was another one like that, then I'm pretty sure that you'll find another one at one point or another." I said.

"Oooooh!" Tristen stood back up and dusted himself off. "I swear, if I find it again, I am going to try to get it. No warning this time. I might Thunder Wave it first just to be sure." Tristen said.

"Provided it doesn't have Limber or anything like that on hand, whatever it is." I said.

"Don't joke like that." Tristen said, a bit agitated now.

"Who's joking?" I asked. "Whatever the heck you're trying to deal in keeps giving you the slip somehow. Would it be that much of a surprise?" I asked.

"Wouldn't for me if I were in your shoes." Freth said. Tristen just stayed silent.

"Come on." I then said. Tristen huffed and started to follow the two of us, annoyed that once again, this mystery Pokemon gave him the slip.

On the way back across the plain, we overheard the announcement. Of course there needed to be a product placement plug. "Bait..." I said.

"I guess anything to tilt the odds in the favor for finding something good." I said.

"Or something pretty abysmal." Freth noted.

"I guess it couldn't hurt to try it though, just to say we did it." Tristen said.

"Any sight of a roto-drone?" I asked.

"No, not now...I haven't really seen one all day." Tristen said.

"Can't say I have either." Freth said.

"Let's get to looking, then." I said, ignoring the Nincada that managed to find its way above ground.

The three of us almost was certain that nothing good was going to come of that bait. And at this point, too late to ask for a exchange, let alone report it. Much to our astonishment, however, that bait was apparently doing its work. Through the grass, we noticed something making a beeline for it. A familiar Pokemon it was; a bit surprising for such a thing to be out this way.

"Is that a Bonsley?" I asked.

"Yeah...I think it is." Tristen said.

"Huh, didn't think any of those would have been here. I have yet to see the first Sudowoodo for that matter in this Wild Area. I would have imagined I'd find one of those first before that." Freth said. "Well, you guys going after it?"

"I...honestly don't think so." I said.

"I think I'm going to try to capture that Pokemon that keeps running from me."

"You sure it wasn't the Bonsley?" Freth asked.

"Positive."

"Well, I'll have Hitmonchan battle it then." Freth said.

"Why?"

"Perfect Pokemon to be that 'Drain Punch' victim." Freth said, matter of factly. I wanted to say something. I really wanted to say something, but I was virtually flabbergasted over the fact of we basically burned the bait on something for Hitmonchan to punch the life out of...and add it to his own. That...felt wrong.

"Hitmonchan!" The Bonsley picked itself up, swallowing the last bite of the bait, then stared in confusion, wondering what that was, only to see the towering Hitmonchan coming after it. "Drain Punch!"

The Bonsley went completely wide-eyed, tried to about face and run away from Hitmonchan. However, it wasn't getting away. Hitmonchan's fist smashed right into the Bonsley, sapping the very life from it from that crushing blow. Hitmonchan was already feeling better after that one blow. It wasn't the miracle cure. It was...probably more equated to giving someone an aspirin for pain. It'd take more than that before Hitmonchan was close to 100%.

The Bonsley though wasn't thrilled after the attack, however. It quickly turned back around, dug its head into the ground and pulled up a large rock, flinging it over towards Hitmonchan. "Rock Throw..." Tristen said. Hitmonchan stood its ground, getting pelted by the rock, but didn't take all that much damage from it.

"Do it again!" Freth said. Hitmonchan rushed back for the Bonsley and once again smashed its fist right into the Bonsley, once again pulling the energy right out of the Rock Pokemon, causing extensive damage and virtually draining the Bonsley out. Hitmonchan gave a sigh of relief, feeling better than he did a while ago.

"There. Done. Could of probably stood to go after more. Imagine if we could have found a Chansey around here." Freth said.

"Freth, come on." I said, practically facepalming.

"What? Look, I can't help it that Pokemon are able to learn moves like these! I just use what is available to me."

Right..." I said, still facepalming.
