I occasionally peek in there to see if there's something cute that I can afford; all I own though, is a pair of shoelaces and a cute choker. I like the way the skirts look, and the gloves, but they're just too expensive.

I don't go there very often cause I make most
of my clothes.Band tees I don't buy though.

You know what I miss? I miss the hot topic that had the big long pretty goth dresses hanging on the back walls. The hot topic that really did play up to the goth sterotypes a bit. The hot topic that sold sailor moon manga. *lol* Yes, the old hot topic of when I was a teenager that wasn't so punk-y.

I miss those dresses as well. I always joked that if I got married, I would buy one of them in white.

If you find something that you like then - bygod, buy the damn thing. Who cares.

I don't even find all my "gothic stuff" at hot topic. I find 'em at flea markets, wall-mart, smack dab at a booth in the middle of the mall, even jc penny's.

I wear what I like and what I enjoy seeing myself in. Simple as that.

It's not Hot Topic that's "poser-ish". It's some of the PEOPLE that shop at Hot Topic that are poser-ish.

For example, one day while I was in there I saw this curley haired red head kid wearing a polo shirt and dress pants walk out of a Hot Topic with a bag of merch in his hand. Doesn't this strike you as a bit odd? >.>

Don't get me wrong, if people like him wanna shop at HT, then let 'em. But just don't accuse Hot Topic of being poser-ish because of who shops there.
