=Benjamin does what any sane individual would do in this situation. He breaks down to the level of a child, closes his eyes, and hopes the big monster will go away. Yup. You know. The whole scared of the dark and there are creeping shadows routine. Except this is real life... Okay. Benjamin has to ask himself if this is really, really happening at all. Anyway. He can't waste his time doing that. Therefore, he doesn't. He just hopes that his Pray ability will be enough...=

The heroes recover 5HP.
Ganondorf's face contorts to the most malicious expression imaginable. It's probably one of his nicer ones, though. He slowly begins to stalk towards the heroes, unsheathing his black blade from his side. The thing looks like a greatsword or something that would require two hands to wield, but he easily hefts it in one. Cross takes a moment to think about what to do, but he knows he doesn't have time to waste. He casts Sharpen in hopes of at least starting the coming battle off right. He has a feeling there's no way they'd be just escaping now... Ganondorf is too strong and too fast to try running way from.

Noticing the looks of despair from his compatriots, Zeke, too felt a bit uneasy. This was Ganondorf, the last boss from almost every Zelda game! They weren't anywhere near Link's level yet.
Mustering what remaining courage he had, Zeke quickly began to feel sparks dance along his forearm. The sparks crackled and sparked as they gathered in the center of his palm and it massed into a small ball. Bringing his palm forth, the lightning shot from his palm towards Ganondorf.
"Jolt!" Zeke called out as the lightning streaked through the air and it came closer and closer to Ganondorf.

=Benjamin looks between Cross and Zeke. Those two have got the highest attack power, so it's going to be them if any good hits get in. With Pray at least they should be much stronger.=

The heroes recover 5HP.
Together, Cross and Zeke doing four times their normal damage could have dealt Ganondorf a significant blow, but he's way too fast. He easily side steps Zeke's spell before he gets close enough for Cross to charge in. When he attempts to use Keyline, Ganondorf simply catches the incoming blade before picking Cross up and slamming him into Zeke. Both take a whooping 50% hit! When he turns his attention to Benjamin, he holds an open palm out and lets loose Shades Spark. His smirk broadens as the cleric passes out from a single blow and the benefits of Pray and Blessed are removed. His malicious laughter can be heard as he narrows his eyes while looking at Cross and Zeke. Power can be seen surging over his body as he invokes Goddess Power [Turn 1].
Cross: 75/150 HP, 36/55 MP, 22/24 SP, 6/10 TP, x2STR Zeke: 40/80 HP, 101/150 MP, 9/18 SP, 7/7 TP, +25% Skill Benjamin: 0/93 HP, 88/117 MP, 21/26 SP, 7/7 TP

Feeling himself take a massive hit from Cross landing on him, Zeke fell to his knees. Stumbling a bit to get back up, Zeke leaned on his staff as he looked at Ganondorf. This guy had just dodged all of their attacks and made them look completely pathetic.
Extending his palm towards Ganondorf, Zeke called forth the sparks again. They danced along his forearm and towards his palm, gathering into the center of his palm... Firing it off at Ganondorf, sure that he'd probably just dodge it again, Zeke had hoped to stall him in hopes of something... "Jolt!" He called out, almost shrilly, but it was enough to display his lack of confidence...

=Ouch. Is that really adequate to describe what's going on? Ouch. It took one hit. That's all it took. It was one hit from Ganondorf that took Benjamin out of the game. The least he could do as he fell unconcious was say that he still felt alive. Even as blackness encroaches his vision, he can say he's still alive. That means there's a hope for being rescued. At the same time...what was that hope? Would this be a sobering experience? He falls into what he could swear is a simple slumber...=

With gleeful laughter, Ganondorf doesn't even bother dodging or blocking Zeke's strike. As the electricity spreads over his black armor, he doesn't so much as flinch. It had to have done some damage, even minimalistic, but he doesn't even act like anything happened. He takes one last step towards the two and unleashes two blows, both held back. He has a malicious grin on his face as the spell caster falls unconscious and Cross is left too weak to stand. Cross looks at the other two helplessly as he frantically thinks about what he can do, but...his arms refused to move. He can't get up. He can't do anything. With a broadening smirk, Ganondorft's body surges with power once more as his attack capabilities quintuple with Goddess Power [Turn 2].

Taking a blow from Ganondorf, Zeke stumbled back. His vision faded in and out, and soon it was fading to darkness. Looking to his left at Cross, he was still standing...
"...taking out the mages only... you racist..." Zeke managed to mutter, perhaps incoherently. However, that didn't matter as he fell backwards, unconscious.

=It's a party, and Benjamin wasn't invited! He'd snore if this were a snooze. Hey! That's my blade of grass! Is this what dreams are made of? One. Two. Three. Four. One. Two. Three. Four. There are no sheep when you don't sleep. All this meaningless jabber emphasizes what's going on in the unconscious state. Benjamin's out cold and memories are being all jumbled up.=

Cross knows he can't move, but he can't give up. They're dead if he doesn't. Aren't they? He sees a glimmer in his peripheral vision, but he can't turn to face it. He may still be concious, but he can't make much of an effort to do...anything. He can only watch Ganondorf as he cackles at Zeke's words. The Triforce of Power glows vividly as Goddess Power begins to enter its final phase.
Cross: 1/150 HP, 36/55 MP, 22/24 SP, 6/10 TP, weakened, paralyzed Zeke: unconscious Benjamin: unconscious
"He just happened to have what it took to remain awake to watch all your deaths." The Dark Lord, Ganondorf, speaks. He grips his sword as his eyes go wide in gleeful malice. Then he disappears high into the sky. A sharp whistle can be heard as his blade slices through the air.
Cross knows Ganon's coming, and coming fast. The whistle of the blade cutting the air is close. Where's he going? Who would be the Dark Lord's first victim? Lucky for them, the answer is not a one of them. They are suddenly surrounded by a gentle blue light, and Ganondorf has no choice but to waste his attack on an impenetrable barrier. He looks at his hand to see the other two Triforce glow their outlines. Just in front of Ben (the target of the first finishing strike) kneels Zelda, head down and arms outstretched. The reason is obvious. She's using an expanded version of Nayru's Love.
Wide-eyed, he jumps back just in time to avoid a lunge from Link. With a nod from him, Zelda stands and gathers the three heroes onto Epona's back. They've been saved. Like any truly heroic entrance, it was oh so very last second. As they ride off, Zelda begins revitalizing the three. Link stays back to fend off Ganon, who looks past the green tunic hero with a disgruntled look as he knows his quarry has left.

Unconscious, or perhaps merely dead... Zeke wasn't sure, but he was aware of what was going on around them. Perhaps he was dead, or maybe it was just that he couldn't open his eyes. Whichever the case, Zeke was aware that they were not in any more danger.
Feeling his body moving, or wait - did he actually feel that or imagine that? Once again, he dismissed that thought, because constantly debating on whether or not he was alive wasn't going to help any. If he was somehow alive, keeping attentive to his surroundinds would help, he thought.
Suddenly, light appeared in his eyes... No, it wasn't in his eyes, it was through his eyelids. Sitting up, almost mechanically, but falling back down, having some sensation that sitting up and losing balance would not be the most apt thing.
Opening his eyes, Zeke saw a beautiful, yet oddly familiar face over himself and Ben. This woman's looks were completely incomparable to the women back home, she was vastly superiour... A true beauty... Something about her told Zeke that the beauty not only existed on the outside, but he just saw her and there was no way he could rectify that logically.
"I think I'm in love..." Zeke mumbled, hoping nobody heard what he just said, realizing he just spoke his thoughts aloud.

=...and Zeke would be bonked on the head by Benjamin. He's too tired to say anything, so he sighs and shakes his head. It's like he's saying that she's taken. By whom, you ask? Well. Obvious questions get no answers. Anyway. Benjamin knows, as he looks back and sees Link facing off against Ganondorf, they were beaten. They were beaten bad, and they aren't ready for this kind of challenge. He looks at the ground. He's hoping to see signs of where they're going... To him, it seems like Border Town is no longer safe.=

Knowing the heroes are too weak to do much of anything, Zelda keeps up the pace with Epona. She knows Link will catch up soon enough, and she can easily enough pay them no mind. She's concentrating on just getting away. As strong as her magic is, she can't fight Ganon and defend the three at the same time. She even makes quick glances at the back of her right hand, checking the Triforce symbols. She can see that Link and Ganondorf are still fighting.
As Cross begins to feel better, he sits up and begins looking around. They've already exited Border Town. "Where to?" He looks up as he hears the female voice. Still half-dazed... "I think Peach's castle is our best bet..." He hears Zelda sigh. "I'm new to this dimension. Point me in the right direction." Weakly, Cross manages to point in the direction he remembers coming from. He only hopes he's right. "I think it's that way." Zelda nods. "Okay." She glances at her hand again. No change. With a sigh, she changes Epona's direction but not her pace. Cross takes a moment to appraise the others and himself. There doesn't appear to be any serious damage. Okay. They survived this one.

Luckily, Zelda had not heard his mutterings. Neither had anyone, so it seemed. Zeke was safe! He soon realized that it was Zelda, Link's love, more-or-less. So, there'd be no chance for him.
Zelda and Cross had a little conversation. Zeke just tuned it out as he took in the scenery which seemed to fly by. Epona sure was fast. Zeke looked up at the sky, seemingly bored and back to full strength...
