The Cliff

Almirrah's large ears suddenly turn to the sound of tiny scurrying feet, and she turned ehr attention towards the sound. There, amidst the darkness, was a plump mouse running towards its shelter. Almirrah turned immediately and leaped at the rodent and chased it several feet before finally clamping her jaws around its small body. It struggled jsut a bit before she bit down into it and felt the cracking of its fragile little bones.
She held the mouse in her mouth and threw her head back, allowing its blood to trickled into her mouth.

The mouse's blood did nto satisfy her entirely, but it was good enough for now.
After her rather small meal, she cleaned the traces of blood from her muzzle and began to make her way back to Kaiya and Karu.

Edit: Almirrah stopped when she saw Kaiya. She looked down at the squirrel and grinned. 'Thank you' she said, happily picking up the squirrel. She turned to the side and then dropped the squirrel again, laying downa nd biting into its flesh.. happily drinking its fresh blood.

stands up and yawns and strecthes and looks around and walks off to the cliff*

gets up and walks off towards the ruins*

Fayte could not find Kiros, so he went on his own. He was almost two now, and he felt he could take the moose down himself. He arrived to find that the moose had moved down toward the lower parts of the cliff. He moved silently through the tall grass and got as close as he could before he jumped. What happened next he didn't expect. The moose caught him in it's antlers, and threw him into the river. Fayte swam to the side and climbed back up. "You will die for that" He snarled. He tried a less direct attack pattern, moving in bounding zig-zags. He landed and the moose lunged to gore him with a tine. He jumped to the side and latched onto the moose with a snap. He ripped a large chunk out of the mooses neck, just as Kiros had instructed, and it went down. He was amazed. He ran to find the Alphas and some other wolves. This catch was too big for him alone.

"It's the least I could do! You have been so kind to me." Kaiya smiled at Almirrah, her head tilted to the side.

Almirrah looked at Kaiya as she drained the squirrel of its last bit of blood, and then she released the animal's lifeless body. and began to clean her own fur. She licked her paw and ran it over her muzzle continuously, cleansing her fur.

Walks up to a tree and lays down newt o it falling asleep*

Almirrah sees Karu resting below a tree, and thinks to herself.
I haven't spoken much to this wolf.. perhaps I shall once she choses to awaken
Now she walked towards the egde of the cliff, looking down at the land before her, spotting several features of the trees as her eyes adjusted to the darkness. She licked her paw again and rubbed it over her muzzle, cleaning off the last bit of blood that had tainted her fur.

opens his eyes to the sound of birds taking flight and gets up and stretches and walks out from under the tree and finds Almirrah standing at the cliff edge and walks up next to her" Good evening."

Almirrah looked to her side and saw Karu standing nearby.
'Good evening to you too' she said, grinning. She waited to hear what Karu would say next, looking towards the horizon.

"Beautiful sight isn't it" as he looks out at the horizon think of his family*

Almirrah nodded in response, embracing the night as she closed her eyes for a moment, breathing in the cool air. She then opened her eyes again, looking at Karu curiously. She saw that he was thinking of something, and she did not wish to interrupt his thoughts.. but she felt the need to speak either way.
'I have not seen you around much before' she stated as her ear twitched against a chilly breeze. She moved her long tail so that it covered her front paws and then looked to him again.

" I just joined the pack." He say looking down at his right paw*

Kratos wanders onto the scene...

"What's going down here?"

'Oh.. yes. How do you like these lands?' she said, turning her body fully towards him as she listened carefully to his words. She wondered what Karu thought of this place, and perhaps how he came to stumble upon this pack of wolves.
