i'm slow and just finished up, watched the four i didn't watch yet tonight.
it was great. so very great. i want moar.
but if moar comes, moar comes.
this is the second series i've actually followed through till the end with, the other being only Blue Gender and that was short. i loved the last episode here, i liked the fact that it was actually one maintaining story throughout the episode for once (but i'm not putting down the rest of the series which was still all excellent), i loved the full Motteke! Sailor Fuku to the full extent, i loved everything about it.
i plan on throwing all the episodes onto DVDs and such for safe keeping this weekend.

i guess i'll have to start reading the manga now.

this was the first finale that actually made me tear up.

Ah, not true.
The manga for The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya is laughable compared to the anime and the light novel.

I thought you've only followed two anime to the end. Doesn't that mean it's the first out of two?
But the ending was good. I don't see how everyone sees it as sad though...

first out of the two anime.
when i say finale, i'm counting the TV shows I used to watch and their series finales. iunno why.

i found it sad because it was the end, and the little talk about "we never may be able to do this again" before the actual end was somewhat sad. the background music was kind of slow adding a solemn element, in a small way.

Ah, then I understand.
Although, if you watch Kanon (2006) or Air TV, you'll probably find the sadness overwhelming if you thought that was sad.

the manga is that bad?
meh, I be the judge of that...
as well as it's the only other place to meet Konata and gangs, other than rewatching the anime

Oh, they're not saying it's that bad. They're just saying that the anime is better than the manga. It's like saying cakes are better than cookies. Just because cakes are better, doesn't mean cookies are bad.

Unless you don't like the anime. Then possibly that might be the case.

oh I like the anime
I read the first translated page of Lucky Star
to me, it actually enhanced the manga, seeing where the breaks are supposed to be...

anyway, I just realized last night that it was saturday...
Not having lucky star means I have to rely on my other anime...
sorta sad how I the past months or so, I was like:
"It's Lucky Star Day!"

but now....
