Neira shook her head vigorously and fell over in the attempt to clear her head, quite literally. She just lay in the grass where she fell and listened to the conversation.

The little male was so stuffy and he seemed to need a bit of a break. Neira smiled and pulled herself up, trotting over to Idjit and poked her in the back with her nose. 'Want go see if we can find any mice to munch on in the field?'

Neira's ears went up in case Glybb decided to turn her way, so she sat there and played with a blade of grass in her mouth. The warm air felt nice on her coat and it lulled her into a passified state of mind where very little bothered her.

'I saw a fox pounce on a mouse once, it was rather funny actually because they kinda bounce on them with their front feet and such, I'm not entirely sure how they do it, but it looks fun!' Neira wagged her fluffy tail, black tip lolling back and forth in the grass. Being around other wolves, let alone young ones, brought out the little puppy in her. It'd been too long since she'd played with Cuan and Meena that she'd gotten a bit lonely....

Idjit thumped her tail with excitement as Neira came closer, her eyes dancing with joy. Playing? In the field? That would be so fun! A glance at her brother let her see his head incline in agreement, signaling that she was free to do as she chose. Of course she'd go anyhow, whether or not her brother said it was allowed. Tilted her head as Neira spoke, she grinned.

"Oo! I've seen that. It's so cool because they bounce away if they miss. It's like they're made to bounce. I dunno if I can bounce though, I'd prolly fall down."

Thumping her tail on the ground, she licked Glybb's nose, giggling when he made a face, and trotted closer to Neira, grinning.

"Letsgoitsoundsofun!"

||Crimson stained sword.||
{Blood dripping, forming a river.}
||Eyes growing heavy, darkness falling.||
{Can you save me? REALLY save me?}

A small frown came upon the maw of Sora as she noticed the little pup's continuous stiffness. She then looked at Idjit and Neira softly chuckled, "We accept all wolves here. You are all more welcome to stay here young ones."

Looking at Glybb her eyes watched him, her stare thoughtful. Wondering what in the world brought these pups here, what happened to their parents. The young pup was so much like a grown up that it made her continue to happen. Maybe he had just took the roll of an grownup so he could protect not only his sister but himself as well.

||My sanctuary, save and warm.||
{No worries... No worries...}
||The outside, death and war.||
{Which world shall I choose?}

the young wolf turned his head slowly, eyes glancing at the one called Sora. She was watching him with interested eyes, as though she was trying to understand him. His gaze narrowed once, and her looked off, his gaze following the small form of his sister. Perhaps he ought to follow? But no, he really didn't want to get suckered into a game of hers. After all, she'd been playing games the entire trip here, and she slept like a log most nights, while he stayed awake and stood guard. Lucky little girl, had no idea what life was about.

Glancing back at Sora, Glybb narrowed his eyes.

"Is there something you'd like to ask, maybe?"

A bit rude, perhaps, but he wasn't so into the beating around the bush thing that most adults did.

Tam shouldered his way through the emerald leaves of the forest in vain attempt to make it to the meadow just up ahead. Jupe stuck close to his flank, gray eyes wide with concern for her boistrous brother. "M...maybe you're going to fast. You'll hurt yourself Tam," she whispered to him. Tam simply ignored her and kept up his fast pace. He was one determined pup, and a sigh of relief left his ebon lips as he reached the border of the flowery meadow. He smiled, grateful that they had escaped the forest, and bounded into the sweet smelling grasses. Jupe followed closely behind, watching her brother fondly as he dove about, snapping at the flowers. She giggled to herself and followed his example.

Walking out of the woods into the field he blinks and looks around.
"Flowers?"
He contemplates something and shakes his head. It had been a few hours since the humans dropped him off at the edge of the forest. His stomach growled and he quickly ends the life of a blossom in his mouth. Pulling his ears forward he hears other noises.
"Others? Could it be?"
He starts off running.
"Mom! Father! Zues! Mala!"

-Jupe froze upon hearing the insistant calls of another canine a few yards off, and it seemed the sounds were getting closer. Whimpering loudly, she nipped Tam's rump to gain his attention, for he was frolicking about without a care in the world. "Someone is coming... we need to get out of here Tam," she whined to him, ears plastering themselves to her skull.-

-Tam scowled whenever he heard his sister's annoying whimpering, for it was the first sign that she would want to leave. Ignoring it, he continued to snap at the beautiful flowers... untill Jupe nipped him in the butt. Whirling around, eyes ablaze, he waited impatiently as she relayed what she had to say. "Jupe...," he began, "Maybe it's a good idea we stay? Afterall, we have no friends". He sighed when he saw that Jupe wasn't going to give up. "Fine... we will go," he grimmaced, leading them both furthur into the meadow.-

((Tiger-kun is know Tigerwolf-kun. Long story))

"Mom! Dad! Wait up!"
He stops running and stands a few feet away from some wolves he never seen before.
He flattens his ears and sighs. Quickly he lifts them back up.
"Hey you two youngun's"
He tries to his best to smile even though he is disappointed that they are not from his pack.

He sighs and leaves the two alone.
"I guess I scared them."
He wanders away from them and heads back into the forest.
"Mom and Dad and the others have to be somewhere."

The lone canine padded slowly and carefully through the winding mess of trees, ever mindful of the searing pain that throbbed continuously throughout his left leg.
He winced with nearly every step, and damned his own clumbsiness.
As if for self-reassurance, the brute talked aloud to himself as he walked.
"If you hadn't've been so damned curious... If you hadn't've wanted to get a better look from that damned tree..." He winced in pain and hissed inward through his teeth as the dried blood cracked and split with his movements. He took a moment to regain his composure and shake it off before continuing on. "If you hadn't've fallen from the tree... Stupid, stupid Hyacinthe..."
He mumbled and grumbled to himself such as this for quite some time as he made he way through the forest. Spring had finally come, and the trees were lush and green, and the thick canopy above left much of the forest's trails in darkness. Tiny openings between the leaves above sent rays of light rippling upon the brute's red merle fur as he passed. His long, bushy tail dragged behind him, brushing the damp spring dirt. Seedlings sprouted here and there, reaching for what sunlight they could find. As the brute continued on, the familiar smell of greenery and soil was slowly beginning to be overpowered by something... more.
Hyacinthe, as this foreign canine was known to be called, narrowed his ocean-blue eyes in thought. He had absolutely no idea where he was going, but by the smell of things, the atmosphere was about to change rather quickly. In no sort of rush, he kept his own pace, trying his best to keep off his injured leg.
In little to no time at all, the forest spat him out, and Hyacinthe found himself in the flower meadow.
At first, all he could do was gape, his jaw slack and his eyes wide. Hundreds of different scents flooded his nostrils simultaneously, overwhelming him. The brute stood dumbfounded. As tedious and expansive and dull as that forest was, he'd never expected to find anything like what he'd stumbled upon.
Flowers, as far as the eye could see.
Every shade contained in the depths of the brightest rainbow. Deep crimson poppies, hypnotic violets, saffron pansies...
Vast arrays of dasies, heliotropes, foxwood, valerians, jasmine, orchids... Flowers he knew, flowers he'd never seen, the flowers he was named for, and more.
In the past few months of his travels, in all he'd seen, he found himself most moved and astonished by this.
It reminded him terribly of home... and this, he realized with an unsettling lurch in the pit of his gut. He never thought he'd be homesick, not after what he'd been through there, but...
Almost on their own accord, his slender legs moved him forward. His injured leg left droplets of blood on passing petals and leaves, but he was moreover distracted from the pain.
He made his way to a fragrant cloud of blooming lavender, and took a moment to let the comforting scent fill his lungs. His sides heaved with his deep, calculating breaths.
After a moment, he collapsed with a sigh onto the bed of lavender. Tiny pale purple petals rose about him in a small flurry before settling down upon his ruddy-brown fur. He closed his eyes contentedly, letting the scent overtake him, letting the bliss of the meadow soothe his aching, travel-weary bones.
He knew he wasn't supposed to stop, not until he found the brute he was looking for...
...but, he supposed it couldn't hurt to lay down for a while.
After all, his leg could use the rest.
His jaws parted in a canine sort of grin as he panted softly, catching breath he hadn't known he'd lost. He felt the sun warmly caressing him, the soft breeze ruffling his silken fur.
He'd no idea where he was.
He'd little idea of how he'd gotten there.
But he knew for a fact... that he couldn't care less at the moment.

He’d lost her.

Panic blinded him, his nose twitching in spasms as he tried to locate her scent, her body, her face… it came into view before him, broken and gone, lost forever. Shaking his head to clear his nose, he inhaled again… and again… and again. Nothing! A whimper escaped his throat, his ears pinning to his skull in confusion. She was gone, and he couldn’t find her anywhere and where the heck had she gone? Plopping his butt to the ground, he looked in all directions for her runty body and saw nothing. Which direction to take? Her scent, old, lead out from several directions, but which trail was the fresh one. They all seemed a bit old, and he hadn’t been asleep that long.

Tail curling under him as another whimper came forth, he straightened up. Dignity, pride, the things he had been taught before his eyes had opened drifted back to him, and he forced his young mind to slow to crawl, to think logically. If he were her… Glybb frowned. She was prone to following butterflies, and prone to vanishing suddenly. A glance around again showed him a form, far off but not so far. Squinting, he couldn’t tell it’s exact shape, if it was alive or a log, but it was small enough to be a wolf or something similar, and yet he had his doubts. Still, it was more than he had so far. Moving forwards, he grew closer, frowning at the sight of a wolf that was no the one he was seeking.

Again, that sound escaped his throat, his body trembling as confusion overtook him. She’d never gone this far, and never without waking him. What if she got hurt? What if she died? Feeling as though half of his soul had vanished, the young male stared blankly, trying to determine what exactly, one did when they’d lost something.

Because he’d lost her.

Failed her.

Again.

Nekura sighed to herself as she wound her way through the overly tall grass and breathtaking flowers. Against all the bright flowers she stuck out like a sore thumb. She could feel the sun against her midnight black fur, thretening to make her lazy. She fought the urge to lay in the grass under the sun and continued to walk closer to the shade of the forest. She wound her way easily through the grass, her tail swaying, almost rutter-like, behind her.
She was nearing the forest when she passed a patch of blooming lavender. She paused to take in the sweet aroma. Lavender was one of her favorite sents. 'Just for a little while can't hurt.' She thought to herself. She weaved her way through the flowers and became startled when she descovered she wasn't alone. Her red tinted amber eyes flashed, taking in the sight of Hyacinthe laying there.
She wanted to turn around and continue on to the forest, but the smell of the lavender was taunting her. She took a couple steps back and layed down hesitantly, not saying a word.

Cutting through the blissful air of Hyacinthe's surroundings like a knife was the subtle, unmistakable scent of another canine. At first he didn't quite register it, as he was too far lost in the overpowering scent and comfort of his lavender bed. But the moment he felt a presence shift at his side, he bolted upright.
His ever-shifting oceanic eyes scanned Nekura as quickly as they could. His muscles twitched, and his body went completely rigid.
He'd clearly been surprised.
Suddenly, without warning, a torrent of questions flooded his mind.
Who was this femme?
Where did she come from?
Where was he?
How did he get here?
Was he tresspassing on pack territory?
His jaws worked around these several questions, but he never could form the words he needed. Instead he stood dumbfounded, caught completely off-guard, and he knew he'd look back on himself later and feel like an utter fool.
He was almost sure he was about to muster up the composure to say something, but his injured leg gave him a merciless pang, and Hyacinthe found himself cringing and hissing through his teeth.
Somewhere in the back of his mind, he cursed his multitude of gods.
He couldn't have ten minutes of peace.

Nekura looked over Hyacinthe questioningly. Her eyes stopped on his injured paw. She cocked her head to one side curiousity flooding her mind but managing not to let it reach her eyes.
She figured that if she desided to talk to him that it would be highly unlikely that he could do anything to her with that paw. She decided to take a chance.
"I'm not tresspassing am I?" She asked calmly.
Her voice was smooth as silk as she spoke. Her eyes filled with the innocent curiosity that she had been feeling earlier. Her tail flicked and curled in front of her, covering her hind legs with it's red tipped fluffy-ness.

Hyacinthe swallowed, unwanted thoughts swarming inside him.
He was no wolf himself, no, and his instincts were clearly telling him that he should feel threatened by the femme... and he did.
If this was her land he'd stumbled upon...
The femme's sudden inquiry cut the tension between them, and Hyacinthe unexpectedly collapsed with relief.
"Ye Gods, no!" He laughed humorlessly, heaving a great sigh. His voice was somewhat accented with his native Tsingano dialect, which gave it a natural sort of charm. Hearing himself speak was a blessed, blessed comfort. "I thought I was the one tresspassing!"
After a moment of shaking off his sheer bewilderment and previous state of fear, he looked up to meet the femme's eyes. He was suddenly highly aware of himself.
"Ah... Forgive me, I must look a damned fool."
He again found himself searching helplessly for the next thing to say, still somewhat rattled.
"Um... You don't... You don't happen to know where we are, do you?"
