Koko took a calming breathe and tried to let go of much of her tension. "Then lets go," she said relinquishing her keys. She had planned to drive them out of town herself and then let him go at it but.....that's Drake.

Mason glanced at Tristen's drawings, he wanted to ask what she was doing but it seemed like she was very concentrated in it and he didn't want to annoy her. Something was still wrong about her but he wasn't sure what, other than the obvious scribbling.
Lillin, completely oblivious, started to dart around the room looking at everything.
"How do we find the murder victims?" She asked.

Judith sighed, this may be more difficult than she thought.
"I'm ready." She said.

"Find the one's with their throats torn out and no blood." Tristen said in a matter-of-fact way, too distracted to cloak her replies to not sound suspicious. She didn't register that they might question why she knew the symptoms of the murder. She chewed on her lips, trying to shut out the disturbing feelings the spirits were giving her. While she had been told that ghosts were indeed real and understood more or less by official vampires, she was having trouble deciphering whether they were actually talking to her here or whether it was her acutely over-active imagination tricking her. Certainly the ghosts were rarely negative.
she gave a quick shake of her head and forced herself to put the pen away and try and ignore them. She then threw herself into her work, loudly opening each drawer to inspect the bodies, climbing on the draws below when she reached ones she was too short to see.
"Nope, nope nope." she said, ticking off each one. "you take the other ones." she said, pointing to the opposite wall's set of body-drawers.

Drake marched ahead and unlocked the truck, getting into the driving seat and already starting to look pleased with himself. He mimicked what he'd seen of Koko by putting the key in the ignition and twisted it, but didn't let go, so the car chugged and squealed. he then let go onc ehe realised this didn't sound good.


[btw does koko drive a manual or automatic?]

Lillin started pulling out drawers to check, not thinking at all that Tristen's answer was odd.
Mason helped check the higher up drawers but tried to figure out why Tristen would know the M.O.

Judith followed Drake to the truck, about to climb in but waited at the door so Koko could be in the middle instead.

Tristen continued to root around and came upon a drawer that was promising.
"hey what about this guy?" she asked, looking over the bite marks. Her nose wrinkled in disgust. Whoever had done this, he hadn't even tried to cover up the cause of death, let alone the fact he'd just killed the guy and left a body. No wonder the higher up vamps were pissed.

Koko frowned at the sound and then reached acrossed him to turn the key the other way. Then she turned to look at Judith. "Do you want center or the window seat?" she asked trying to be polite. The dogs went around to the back and whined. Koko strode over to bring down the back of the pick-up to let the dogs into the truck bed before they started barking.

"Window," Judith said quickly, assuming Koko wanted to be in the middle next to Drake.

Lillin hopped to the other side of the room and looked at the body.
"Woaaaah," She said then frowned.
"He smells."
Mason strode over to them, "He's a corpse, he's supposed to."

"He'd smell worse if he had blood in 'im." Tristen commented, poking him. she leant in closer, examining the skin around the bitemarks. It looked slightly burnt, obviously from the venom.
"sloppy." she commented.

Drake looked mildly embarrassed, but shrugged it off as he got it wrong.
"ok, what do i do with the pedals?" he asked

Koko gave a curt nod as she closed up the back. Bly wondered further up and looked through the window at Drake. Koko paused at the door and commanded 'down' to the dogs so that they didn't interfer with Drake's ability to see. Then she scooted over to the center seat-not the most comfortable but life wasn't about comfort.....

Sam checked to make sure her helmet was secure and reved up the engine. Such a sweet sound......it filled her with excitement. She rolled the bike out and checked the locked on the shop before she went thundering down the street.

"Hold down the left pedel with your left foot so you can shift into reverse to back out," she replied. "Then hold it again to switch to drive. The right pedal it your accelerate."

((Sorry for terrible instructions.....)) >.<

"What's sloppy?" Mason asked, leaning in to examine the neck as well.

Judith slid in behind Koko. She didn't look too pleased, Judith wondered why, she'd put Koko in the middle to sit next to her boyfriend.

[lol no worries. I've only ever driven a manual, so I've no idea how automatics work XD]



Drake nodded and his face clouded with concentration. He pressed down, trying to get his bearings and reversed a little too quickly and promptly wrenched his foot off the accelerator, causing the car to jerk to a sudden whiplash-inducing stop.
"sorry." he said, studying the dashboard. "she's an aggressive beast, isn't she?"
he tried again with slightly more success, creeping backwards.

Tristen sniffed in distaste.
"The workmanship. Beastly"
She hopped down and continued to examine the drawers, leaving that one open so she could compare it easily to the others. Something told her that there would be more victims of the same man or women.

Judith laughed as they all were wretched around by the stop.
"You'll get used to it."

Mason frowned at her, something was definitely off. He warily turned back to investigate more drawers, Lillin was already much ahead of him, having half the wall opened and inspected.

Drake strained to look behind him as he reversed.
"I feel like such an old fogey." he complained.

Tristen looked up and noticed Mason frowning at her. She raised her eyebrows as if daring him to say something,looking slightly miffed at his expression. and pulled out the next drawer with one hand, without even feigning that the effort was difficult. She looked slightly smug and then turned her back to him to examine the body.
"We've got another one - a woman. Same bites, no blood, poison erosion." she stated. "I assume the other reported deaths were like this? how many were killed?"
She looked over at lilith questioningly..
"so we know the causes of death. now we just have to find this guy or girl.

"And thus seat belts were invented....." Koko joked after recovering from the whip lash.

Sam cam speeding around the corner and had to quickly avoid Koko's truck that sat in the road. She had great control of her baby and there were no other cars coming so she could pass by easily. Thankfully there were no cops either.

"Sorry," she shouted as she passed by.
