Salin slashed left and right cutting down the scared broken soldiers that the autonauts had left. These where not the vetearns that he had fought before the Raven's apperance, these where mere boys fresh from Kine swoop up in a blaze of glory and bored the air ships filled with dreams of charging up ramparts of castles and sweeping girls of their feets from brutish monsters. This battle had been a sad awakening for the green soldiers who say that war brought no glory nor honor. This type of fighting was a disgusting, bloody, brutal matter of craving up anything and everything that didn't wear your colors. No commanders shouting uplifting speeches came on horseback, no common boy from the country took out horde after horde of monsters by himself. Only other boys fresh as they where seeking the same exact thing met them. The carcasses piled up as the boy's screamed in agony as more and more soldiers on both sides clashed and took their wounds.

The battle was quick and Salin's feet where standing in puddles of blood by the end of it. He gazed out across the feild as he stay the horrid faces of boys as they wrapped thir rooms and cleaned their swords awaiting the next charge or stand. The only delight Salin could take was that the where making swift progress across the camp and only a couple hundred meters from meeting up with Crane and Atias on the other side. Though he wondered where Lords Impetus and Carn had gone as he had not seen them since the beginning of the battle. And that knight, Eub, had disappeared at the Revan's apperance too.

she walked quietly towards the smoke. still with her hand on the heel of her sword, she came closer to the fire and stuck her head slightly around a tree to see the person or people at the site.

'calm Siobahn' she told herself 'they might be the people who you might need to talk to'

calmly she watched the fire.

There was nothing near by to be seen. Just a still burning fire and a small tent. Sounds from the brush near uou intended that some one was close. Sudenly an arrow shot from out of some bushes and a large man with an axe leaped out at you.

The answer to your question was almost apparent. There was no confusion to what might have to happen to obtain the bolt of lightning. Near the tops of the mountains where huge storms, wild untamable thunder clouds flocked the area and lighting seemed to crack against the earth every few seconds. The land was rattled with energy and metal.

Once you got closer you could taste the metal in your mouth and it made your blood tense up. The mountain would be a hard climb, not to mention the steep slope, but there was no other way.

A_Shadow_Within

Rikiamru let the girl cut her. As she made a cut he felt his regen slowly starting up and his frenzy getting worse. He slowly backed into one of the walls as the wind and sut howled around him and the little cuts annoyed him. He reached around for his quiver and grabbed his shield. he trew his arrows into the storm letting them fly all around. He casted a protect spell so he could resist the physical damage and hunkered behihnd his shield with sowrd ready. he placed his tail under the dust.

Toru cut back on her forward attack and let glimces of her become visible. Little did Ricky know that she had multiplied her appearance so that their would be tons of blinking Torus’ all around the hole. She made a circle around him and began to toss shruickens(sp), some with bells on it, and others without them. They came from all directions and they came very quickly.

The war was more spread out now. Carn and Impetus called back forces in large numbers of the Dark Hand to let the grunts and eat away at the remaining autonauts. They fought fiercely and the end evened out. Both sides lost many but it was once again the Dark Hand who remained on top. Even in the face of certain failure they some how brought it back and succeeded.

You continued your fight against the remaining autonauts and found ease in the quick deaths. Something inside of you seemed to be awakening and it like the cold feeling of ripping your sword through flesh. It fueled your hate for the Omega and even more so for you desire of the end of oppression. Though still deep down inside you had to ask yourself if this was the true step. If this was the truth and not tyranny. Where you a noble warrior fighting for an important cause or where you tyrant among many seeking to set your own rules.

Your mind slipped away as you found the battle raging on more. It kicked back into gear when a sudden pain broke through your shoulder and flames shot out of you. Your head turned quickly to assess the incident and come to find you had been struck by a silver arrow. It dug deep into your shoulder and hurt very bad. Your eyes searched for the culprit. A small man waited near the back of the small camp still standing and filled his bow with another arrow. He was wearing very noble and shiny golden armor. On top of his head was a loom of red hairs that sparkled. He let another arrow lose and it cut through three people who got in your way but stooped, caught in the dyeing body on top of you. He speed off in one direction all the while loading yet another arrow.

Siobahn pulled her swords from the sheaths and protected herself, cutting the arrow in half, she turned her attention to the man.

"for the love of our emporer are you mad?!" she yelled, jumping backwards, flipping backwards and landing in a tree.

Salin roared in pain as he ripped the silver arrow out of his shoulder. Blood flowed out of the wound as he scanned the feild looking for the archer. He found him just as the archer let off another shoot, but Salin was ready this time and dodged it before jumping towards him barring a slash down towards him. The archer took an arrorw and stabbed up into his unarmored leg as he fell on top of him.

Salin roared again in pain as he felt his leg go numb for a second. The archer used the minute lasp to weasal his way from under Salin and tried to flee once more. Salin with a shriek pulled the second shaft from his leg and bounced up and ran towards the fleeing archer. Even with a limp Salin's vampiric speed easily overran the archer and it took mere seconds for him to catch up. The archer turned to fire another arrow but Salin threw his arm into the bow and knocked the aim off so the arrow harmlessly flew past him into the air.

While he had his arm on top of the bow he pulled back and grabbed the wooden part of the bow and ripped it from the archers hands. The archer froze in fear as the bow was ripped from him and Salin laughed as he used his free hand to grabbed the archer by the throat and lifted him from the ground. "Naughty mongrel, you shall pay dearly for your transgressions!" Gripping the throat harder Salin began to choke out the archer as he flailed wildly trying to knock Salin of him. With a sadistic chuckle Salin snapped the puny archer's next before dropping the corpse on the blood made mud.

The final remenants of the Omega where dying and it was a matter of minutes before the camp was fully theirs. The Omega now had a small base about twice the size of the one they had just clears to the west but the Dark Hand now had full access to the mountain entrance.

Finally having a minutes pause Salin turned his attention to the sky.....(just as a reminder wink lol)

RIkimaru just smiled and the shurikens didnt phase him at all in his frenzy as they did minimal damage against his thick scale hide. He moved with incredible speed and starting cutting through all the fakes following the bells to find the real one. He became bent on killing her there was no other option.

Once the gate was opened yet again the Dark Hand flooded into Roderick. They didn’t have time to waste this time by setting up another base inside. That would be left up to the leaders. Each man ran for as far as he could until they reached the two elevators. They where to wait there until someone with a higher rank set the battle charges. They all knew what horrors awaited them up stairs and it was not a battle any one was looking forward to. All of that other fighting was simply a way to waste time while they polished their base efforts on the third floor. It would be Hell up there.

Under Impetus’s orders Carn returned to the skies with his horde of goblins and orks to offset the battle in the sky. The fight was greatly in the Omega’s Favor as they took down another massive sky force. Their harpoons where destroying everything and as long as they had that gun nothing real could be done about them. That was until Salin’s special force showed up.

Krod lifted heavily on the controls of his custom made aircraft. It was quite fast for a larger model but packed well with many weapons and great evasive maneuvers. His team followed closely behind and then sprayed outward like a pine tree just as they reached over top of Roderick. There where many anti-aircraft torrents but nothing this elite crew couldn’t handle. As soon as the fireworks started they went to work at dodging the display of fire power exploding wildly throughout the sky. The scientist and engineers worked fiercely to reengage the Mammoth gun. It was a difficult job but they seemed determined to get it done. Krod’s group knew this and did whatever they could to elongate the task. All they had to do was simply open up the bottom hatch and drop down a few grenades while weaving in and out of the spray of the torrents. Within about 40 minutes they had successfully destroyed all direct threats. Although victory seemed evident the Mammoth gun seemed to be up and working. They wheeled it into position quickly for it to devastate yet another dark Hand fleet when suddenly a ship, not just a ship but 6 ships slammed straight into the gun complicated wiring just underneath the barrel. Their timing was perfect. Just as the gun had finished warming up to fire, they crashed. The impact was enough to cause the entire weapon to collapse and then launch it’s devastating beam along the side of the buildings top. Then once it shot out for a second, doing critical damage to the defense on top, the whole gun exploded into a giant mushroom cloud.

The Dark hand watching all let out a huge cheer for victory, not knowing that the win was at the cost of the elite sky crew. They sprinted on into Roderick for another fight, this time ending it all.

Men and women all over the outside of the Roderick fort cheered as the Mammonth Cannon went up in flames and the sound of hundreds of Omega Enjineers dying echoed down over their cheers.

The remaining Kine sent sorties to try and break into the Dark Hand lines but the Dark Hand had turned their own fortifications against them and quickly built a hardened line that created a 300 meter killing feild for anything trying to attack the Dark Hand line.

The inside of the fort was packed with soldiers marching towards the elevator. Salin watched as Omega prisoners where brought up through the ranks, they would be the first ones in the elevator and the first ones to die. This would test how well defended the Omega had fortified the top floors.

To make sure they didn't talk they had ball gags stuffed in their throats. To block reconition full armor, including full helmets, bearing Dark Hand colors where thrown on them. The helmets where sodded to the armor forever trapping the men in the armor and thus preventing them from ripping it off on the elevator. Spears where shackled or somtimes even fused together, the surgeons of the Dark Hand sewed on through the skin weapons of those who kept fighting the jailers.

With electrical cattle prods they where heared onto the elevators guided by true Dark Hand believers who knew that death awaited them on the elevator but willing offered their lives for the cause. They knew that their scrafice would provide information for the real attack and save many more lives.

They all where equiped with camera transmitting footage to Salin and his command. When the elevator opened the guns would open up and expose muzzel flashes to the cameras. This would let Salin and his stratagists design an percise attack plan that would hit the heavy guns as fast as possible and stop their slaughter. Also any one time traps that the prisoners set off would only keep more Dark Hand alive.
